I heard their song "So You Are A Star" the other day and wondered whatever happened to them. Remember their TV show with Rod Hull and his Emu?

I sure do jp! I loved their TV show . I still have So You Are a Star on 45. I have a couple of the albums and a best of on CD . For ther past few years Mark Hudson has been playing with Ringo and has produced his last few albums including his latest Ring O' Rama

Bill, Mark and Brett. I remember them well. I had a lil crush on Mark. ;D Loved the TV show--that guy and his Emu were really funny! Little trivia tidbit: Bill Hudson is actress Kate Hudson's father.

Oh no, I can't believe you made me think of these guys ! I liked them and their very weird T.V. show. That emu puppet was especially strange.

This post hasn't been answered in a while, so might as well "refresh" it.
My sister LOVED the "Razzle Dazzle" show, and I even have a show on videotape! Pure 70's kiddie-corn, but oh, the memories!
These days, I've REALLY grown to love their music, especially love "So you are a star", "Rendezvous", and "Lonely School Year". Have the Varese Sarabande collection, which covers primarily their core Casablanca/Rocket years. Coulda had more earlier stuff on there (as "Everyday Hudson" and simply "Hudson" in the early 70's), and there seemed to be nothing from their 1976 Arista album as well (licensing problems?). But still, a great CD.

That was a cute show. Even after it went off the air, people still repeated some of the catch phrases. Sometimes I say "Another boring day on the island of MDS" (the name of the company I work for).
