Who will get nominated for next vote? I think Van Halen is eligible. What an "All Star Jam" that would be!!!! ;D

Yes they will be eligible and I see no reason for them not to go in the first year. I think Sammy and Dave may BOTH show!
Even AFTER the Sam and Dave tour was a disaster, Sammy said if they did a reunion tour, he would do it with Dave.
Cars are also eligible, but I don't see that happening. But who knows? Also Dire Straits. Same goes for them.
If there is ANY justice in the world, we will see Chicago and the Moody Blues go in!!

Couldn't agree more with Chicago & Moody Blues. Their induction is long overdue. I could live with Skynard & ZZ Top getting in.

But unfortunately, critics never loved Chicago, and Dire Straits always seemed to get good reviews. And the Cars were a part of the "new wave" of music that went back to basic rock. Apparently having 7 hugely talented guys who cranked out hits in 4 different decades means nothing.

I agree with all mentioned. However, I'm not sure if Eddie or Alex would show up? I know Mikey would....

It would be incomprehensible to me if The Cars and/or Dire Straits got in and Chicago and the Moody Blues didn't. While I agree with you that Chicago and the Moody Blues are way worthy, I really have a special place in my heart for The Cars. I guess that's just the "young" (yet I'll be 30 this year...) in me. They were there as I started to get into music. Drive is one of my 10 most favorite songs in the world. I can take or leave Dire Straits, but my dad loves them. Wore the grooves off the Sultans Of Swing 45.

I would love to see The Cars and Dire Straights...two underrated bands, IMO...get inducted. Chicago? Sure, I've always been a fan. I think they would appreciate it the most.
How about Peter Gabriel/Genesis or Heart? They've been around for a while. Or even Iggy Pop?

Besides Chicago and the Moody Blues, I'd also like to see the Guess Who and the Dave Clark 5 in the RRHOF...all deserve the honor...but as more years go by, the liklihood decreases.
I think it's rather ironic that DC5 member Mike Smith could play a smokin set at the RRHOF a few months back, but will the DC5 get in yhr Hall? I wouldn't bet on it.
