That prog rock music teacher also had plenty of ELP albums! Again, mostly from their peak era-Tarkus, Brain Salad Surgery, both volumes of Works.
He also had Love Beach, where the boys look more like Pablo Cruise with their Bermuda shirts and white pants!
Beyond their 4 big FM staples, can you give me some recommendations? I'd especially love to know if Love Beach is any good!
THANKS!!

Hmmm - I'm not too familiar with ELP beyond their more well-known material, but I do have their Trilogy LP. I bought it at a used record shop a few years ago, but never listened to it all the way through. I need to get it out and get acquainted!
Are you familiar with Still...You Turn Me On? That's a great song I just discovered a few years ago.

Howdy! I like prog rock, but didn't care too much for ELP. They always seemed sloppy. My faves by them aren't really prog rock
I Believe in Father Xmas C'est La Vie From the Beginning
But try the first album (Emerson Lake & PAlmer) for "Take a Pebble" "Lucky Man" and "Knife Edge".
And the "Pictures at an Exhibition" album.
