Instrumentation: Listen to What the Man Said CD: All The Best I agree that Listen to What the Man Said has a great instrumental track as well. The sax work is especially cool! I have All the Best on LP. That's a very good collection, although I wish they would have included more of his mid-to-late 70s singles such as Arrow Through Me and Getting Closer. |

First LP: Band on the Run (The black label with the three photos) Favorite McCartney collaborative effort: The Man w/ Michael Jackson Favorite video: I have a bootleg video which has a performance of Mary Had A Little Lamb from '72. Band on the Run LP - that's the version I have! The Man is an excellent cut, I agree. I didn't hear it at the time it was current, but when I heard it later, my first thought was why didn't they consider it for a single. I think it could have been very successful! That video sounds very cool! |
