I think Dawn at one point posted a link to search for showings of videos on VH-1 Classic.
But what about VH-1 itself? Is there a way to find out when they'd play a certain video? (Do they still play videos??)

They play very few videos. And don't have any schedule that I can find. But if you look up :"vh1" on google, and then click the "music" link, you can see a section (including "live@vh1.com") where you can listen to selected stuff.

Last I knew, they show current videos in the mornings (around 9-10ish), and at around 3am. Not sure if they still show any older vids. I rarely watch VH1 at all anymore.

VH-1 basically has their music videos channeled through 3 program blocks:
Fresh - A show that showcases newly released songs/videos.
Jump Start - Which is their morning block that is a mix of current and still popular videos from the last couple of years.
Top 20 Video Countdown - self-explanatory I guess.
I like to try and catch the top 20 show on the weekends, especially since on the West coast they have a showing of it at 6 AM when I am often up (yes, even on Sunday) and I can see what people out there are listening to/buying etc. I don't listen to the radio much really so this is the place that I'm offered exposed to artists that I wouldn't normally hear about in the pop/rock genre. Not to say that I particularly like what I hear, but it's interesting nonetheless.
