I saw their CD at a store, and couldn't believe their retro look! I thought it was an old band I missed along the way. And I mean more retro than the Spin Doctors, Black Crowes, and yes, even Lenny!
So of course my interest was piqued. I looked them up on allmusic.com, and it described their style of music as "garage band, country/rock". Could anything be MORE perfect for me?? LOL!!
So, they happened to be playing on Letterman the other night and I switched them on. They do have the garage band sound, and a little like Love. I really want to hear more and see if they live up to that.
Their look is like latter-day Byrds or Cactus (mainly Bogert and Appice). And it looks like genuine retro, not like Rob Thomas who just doesn't wash or comb his hair.
Anyway, it seems like this is a band Clicksters may be interested in!

I've heard of them but missed that Letterman appearance (crap! LOL). There is a review of their album in the latest issue of Uncut (Byrds Cover). They give it 5 stars .
The band is from Tennessee and include 3 brothers - Caleb , Jare and Nathan Followhill The sound very interesting and a band I'm going to be looking into.

I ended up getting this disc, and after several listenings, I got into it! On some cuts they sound like Petty, on some, the Allman Brothers. 3 songs will be making their debut on the INSANE list!

Whoa!! spooky! where's that Twilight Zone theme music when you need it. LOL!! It is kindof weird though, because it's not like those were specific singles, and only one of them (Molly's Chambers) is listed on the sticker on the disc.
