Like I've said bunches of times on here, I like the country ladies (in more ways than one!  ) but I am not big on the guy country singers. But there is a cool ass song out now by Mark Wills called 19 Somethin'. Basically, it tells about life in the 70s and 80s and growing up. In the song he references Daisy Duke, Black Trans Ams, parachute pants, peeling the stickers off Rubik's Cube, rollerskating, all the things we grew up with! Check it out! Ignore the sound if you don't like country and just listen to the words! Or at least check out the lyrics somewhere! |

I definitely would like to check this song out! It sounds like I could really relate to some of the lyrics. I remember I wanted a black Trans Am as my first car, and although I didn't peel the stickers off the Rubik's Cube, I did take it apart when I couldn't solve it the "correct" way! LOL! Fun memories!

[glow=red,2,300]Yeah, I have heard that song! I think he also mentions seeing Star Wars a few times and it was 1970-something and then 1980-something. My dad watches a lot of CMT, and the video has come on a few times, but I haven't seen it.[/glow]

I've heard this song and it is really neat!The lyrics make me so reminiscent about the 70s and the period I was a teenager.The 80s were my college days....cool song!
