Well, I know that all 3 had songs about guns... Bang Bang-Cher I shot the Sheriff-Clapton Shoot 'em up-Andy Kim But this doesn't work since this is all about a theme, not words in titles.  (And I don't recall Andy's being a hit--not that this means anything with my memory these days. LOL!) |

(Guns, target, get it??  ) The theme is indeed guns/shooting. Themes don't have to be in the title, but they can be. And Andy's hit peaked at #31. The criterion is top 40.
