Ethel Merman's last appearance in a movie was in AIRPLANE, along with MAUREEN McGOVERN ("The Morning After") as the "Singing Nun". And, Maureen McGovern sang the theme song for the short-lived 1979 sitcom, Angie, which starred Donna Pescow. A couple of years before that, Donna was a star in the film Saturday Night Fever, with a soundtrack heavily featuring the BEE GEES. The Bee Gees backed BARBRA STREISAND in the song "Woman In Love." |
