Could we have the three songs that led you to that conclusion, Sir. (Incidentally, your conclusion is correct and, so far, good for two points) Oh.. and by the way ... anyone else can "jump" ( ;D ) in with the songs and claim the rest of the points.

I went through my entire top 40 catalog of Richard's songs in my Media Player, and the ONLY one I came up with...
"When the joint starts jumpin', gonna have a ball" from "Rip it up".

I went through my entire top 40 catalog of Richard's songs in my Media Player, and the ONLY one I came up with... "When the joint starts jumpin', gonna have a ball" from "Rip it up". That's probably the best answer, Dave. This turned out to be harder than I intended. The song I was thinking of originally was Long Tall Sally. I've always thought the line was "..saw Aunt Mary coming and he JUMPED back in the alley..." However, although I HAVE seen lyric pages with that version, 90% of the lyric pages say that it is "...DUCKED back in the alley" Your line from Rip It Up is correct also (but many lyric pages leave that verse out). A third possibility is Ready Teddy "The joint is really jumpin', the cats are going wild," - but I'm not sure (without my Whitburn with me) how high that song went. Anyway, Rip It Up works, and you get the point, Dave - and the lead. Current score: DJ Dave 6 Pete70s 5 Rali 4 Sat 4 Railyn 1 55dodger 1 Everybody Else 0 Next game tomorrow.

It better be "ducked" back in the alley, despite what some say. And "Ready Teddy" failed to hit top 40.
