Do songs an artist wrote that were a hit (only) for another artist count? I'll pretend the answer is yes and venture a guess (Such as it is): Songs about Ladies/Women? She's a Lady: Paul Anka More than a woman-Bee Gees Anything by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap (Except "over You")

Also, More Than A Woman by the Bee Gees did not, I believe, make the top 40. Anyway, "Songs about Ladies/Women" is incorrect. But please try again.

Looks like we hit a brick wall again. Here are a couple more clues.
One song title alludes to the theme fairly well, and the entire song is about the theme
In a second, the theme resounds throughout the lyrics although it's not as clear from the title.
In the other song, it's really only there in one line.
Two of the songs are top 5, one is a top 20.
In Rali's guesses she made two correct or somewhat correct comments.
1. She correctly assumed that the Gary Puckett song is NOT "Over You"
2. Although Paul Anka does not have a song called "She's A Lady" in the Top 40, if someone saw the TITLE of the correct Paul Anka song, they may have made that comment.
Also...remember if you make guesses, they usually lead to more (free) clues, and sometimes they even work into points.
OK... we're down to four points as the maximum one individual can get.

Songs about Cheating?
Paul Anka-One Man Woman, One Woman Man Gary Puckett-Woman, Woman ("Have you got cheating on your mind") Bee Gees-Love You Inside Out ("Livin' on your cheatin'")
The only thing is that all three of these are top ten, #1 (Bee Gees), #4 (Puckett), and #8? (Anka).

But please try again. You are a kind man. Thanks Anyway, based on the new clues i will guess *Diana* by Paul Anka And *Young Girl* by Gary Puckett and the guys from Helix High in La mesa, Ca (etc) But I have no idea which is the Bee Ges song And my guess for the theme is *Love with someone out of one's age range*. (ok, I know there's a better way to word that. Too bad I know not what it is right at the moment) NEWZFLASH! Now I know!!! The theme is *Forbidden Love*! ;D But I still don't know The Bee Gees song *Begins frantic search for Bee Gees lyrics*

You are of course correct, although your first answer, Love outside of the normal age range (or relationships with unusual age differences) is more correct than Forbidden love. - And you also got the two songs correctly. So that gives you 4 points. - But because we are in the second day, no one person can get more than 4 points. However, if you get the Bee Gees song it's still a good defensive move because you PREVENT a scavenger (like Adam for instance ;D ) from coming in and grabbing the fifth point. Good luck!

Well, I;ll be the scavenger, since Rali has already maxed out at four points and I could always use an extra. Run To Me ("Now and then, you need someone older")

Run To Me ("Now and then, you need someone older") That is correct, Pete and you get the final point to extend your lead. ..and Rali moves into a tie for second place with Dave, our resident Ken Jennings. ..and the standings: Pete70s 17 DJ Dave 8 Rali 8 Sat 6 Railyn 6 DJ's mom 5 55dodger 1 Everybody Else 0 Next game starts tomorrow - saturday.

LOL-I got too much Christmas lyrics in my ears (like Martina singing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas right now-I have 322 songs on random in my computer, just coincidence she is on!!) to even think about Bee Gees songs! LOL!!!

Now...ya see... if you had just gone off and reviewed some Bee Gees lyrics like Pete did instead of whining to me :P :P (j/k) ;D you'd have gotten that point. The funny thing is, I'd initially considered "age discrepancies" as a possiblity (before I'd come up with "cheating"), but it was the BEE GEES song that held me back!

The funny thing is, I'd initially considered "age discrepancies" as a possiblity (before I'd come up with "cheating"), but it was the BEE GEES song that held me back! I actually thought that Diana would be the real stumbling block, since it's just one line and not repeated like the line in Run To Me. But that clue I gave with She's a Lady probably gave that part away. But like you did with the 'cheating' theme, it's incredible how many times people will come up with a perfectly legitimate theme for the three artists - only the wrong theme and the wrong three songs. I guess there are a lot of themes or something.
