Colors? ("Paint it Black", "Yellow Submarine","Nights in White Satin") Or is that a little TOO obvious?

No, wait, I've got another guess: Tuesday (which is what today is). "Ruby Tuesday", "Lady Madonna" says something about "Tuesday morning", and "Tuesday Afternoon". Please tell me one of these guesses is right? ! ?

Please tell me one of these guesses is right? ! ? OK.. let's see where was I... Oh yes... you were reading on.... YES! Tuesday is the correct theme. Obviously Ruby Tuesday, Tuesday Afternoon and Lady Madonna are the three correct songs. The question arises as to who should get credit for Lady Madonna so...... read on....

Actually Lady Madonna is "Tuesday afternoon is never ending". Now do I get a point if this is the right? This is a tough one. Laura picked the right song, but had the wrong usage of Tuesday. So should Adam get the point, or does it belong to Laura. So I went back to the "Official rules" that I posted on 11/17/04: " For those who don't remember, here are the rules for Name That Theme: I will list three artists (more occasionally). Each artist has recorded a song that contains a common theme with the other two artists.
All songs were in the BILLBOARD TOP 40
Sometimes the theme is in the title; sometimes it is not. For instance, one of the games last season had as three artists:
Paul Simon Diana Ross and The Supremes Three Dog Night
The correct theme was: Mothers
The correct songs were:
Mother and Child Reunion I'm Living In Shame (mother is not in the title , but mamma is repeated many times throughout the song) Mama Told Me Not To Come.
Sometimes the theme only becomes apparent when all three songs are revealed. For instance, in the first season we used:
Foreigner Sam Cooke Eric Clapton. I mentioned in the initial clue that the songs needed to stay in the same order.
Picking the three correct songs:
Hot Blooded Chain Gang Tears in Heaven
.. and realizing that working on a chain gang connotes "Sweat"
The theme is Blood Sweat and Tears.
Anyway.. You get 2 points for the correct theme and one point each for the three correct songs. (Total: 5 points)
If no one gets the answer within 24 hours, I give an additional hint, and the value drops to 4 points. 24 hours later, another clue and another drop to 3 points, etc.
If I have to be off-line for a day or more, those days don't count in the points reduction, and I will try to warn you when I will be away.
In the event of two people with correct answers, earliest time stamp wins.
--and remember ... first one to 50 wins!
" The key part is " Anyway.. You get 2 points for the correct theme and one point each for the three correct songs. " Well... Laura got the 3 correct songs. - Granted we don't give someone credit for a correct song if they are way off on the theme but just lucked into the right song. That wasn't the case here. Laura had the right song, for the right reason. She just didn't have the lyrics right. -- But she answered correctly according to the rules. So Laura gets 5 points, and Adam gets..... ....our thanks for pointing out the correct lyrics. and the score: Pete70s 36 55dodger 20 Sat 15 DJ Dave 14 Laura 13 Railyn 12 Rali 9 TripleJ 7 DJ's mom 5 Lora 5 Dawn 1 Everybody Else 0 Next game tomorrow.

Well, thanks! Wow, I am in the top 5! That's not bad, considering I have only been playing the game for a short time!
