Not sure about Clapton, but the first 2 did "For your love". Well, he was in the Yardbirds, and they did a song with that name also (a very famous song, I might add). So, Dave, you are _probably_ right.

Not sure about Clapton, but the first 2 did "For your love". That is correct, Dave. And Laura is, of course, correct also. - But Clapton did it solo too. Dave -- you are up!

From what I've read, Clapton played guitar only in the "middle eighth" of "For your love".
Never knew he did it solo.
OK...

From what I've read, Clapton played guitar only in the "middle eighth" of "For your love". Never knew he did it solo. OK... Chants Outsiders Mel & Kim Had to do a little research here. First of all to realize that Mel and Kim was not a typo for Mel and Tim. That established, I found that Mel and Kim as well as the Outsiders each had a song called "Respectable" When I searched for The Chants (whom I had never heard of, but for whom now I probably know more than I ever needed to know), I found that they also recorded "Respectable" - but both they and the Outsiders recorded the same song -- one written by the Isley Brothers. So, assuming that it is within the rules of this game (anyone wanna ask Hector? ) to allow covers of the same song, the answer is Respectable.

Wow--didn't know those were the same song!
But, Respectable it is!
Back to you, Ed.

Roy Orbison Marshall Tucker Band Dusty Springfield Dream Lover (I only know the first 2) That is not right, Laura. (I'm not sure that Roy even had a song called Dream Lover.)

That is not right, Laura. (I'm not sure that Roy even had a song called Dream Lover.) OK. I guess I was thinking of "Dream Baby", because I know he sang that. But I also was thinking of "I want a dream lover, so I won't have to dream alone." Who did that one? Well, anyway, I have heard a song by the Marshall Tucker Band called "Dream Lover" and it's a different song from either of these...
