It's been awhile since we had any trivia here, and I just came across a good question while flipping through a CD booklet.
Only 5 bands have had TWO albums sell over 10 million copies each.
Name them.

Oddly, the first one I thought of was the Backstreet Boys. Let's see... POSITIVE one's Pink Floyd. Led Zeppelin, I'm quite sure of. This is for BANDS? Then Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks and Shania Twain are out. Hmmm...two more...
I'll guess the Beatles (sounds obvious...) and the Rolling Stones.

This will sound crazy, but if not the Stones, how about Backstreet's rivals, *N Sync?

Gotta be the Beatles. The Eagles (assuming GH albums count? - I've read that their GH album is #1 of all time) Floyd Zep and probably, as Dave says one of the so-called boy bands (NStynk or Backstreet)

The Eagles (assuming GH albums count? - I've read that their GH album is #1 of all time) Ed, I thought of the Eagles, too, but I believe their first greatest hits album was their only album to even crack 10 million (their 2nd hits album, containing primarily Hotel California and Long Run stuff, I'm fairly certain that hasn't hit 10 million yet).

Just thought of another.
Dixie Chicks, maybe?

Ok, so far, Dave and Ed are both right with Floyd and Zep, and give Ed another point for Eagles.
That leaves 2 more bands!

The Eagles did it? Hmmm...maybe Hotel California did hit 10 million.
NOT the Beatles? A shocker!
I'll guess Aerosmith and U2.

I am also surprised by The Beatles not having at least two 10 mil plus albums. I looked it up. Abbey Road has sold over 12 million copies, and Sgt. Pepper over 11 million.
Sources may differ on numbers.
