We haven't done any trivia in a while. Here are five questions, all of which can be answered with a number - and some musical knowledge. But be careful, some of these may be tricky. 1. How many people in Nashville are either guitar pickers or mothers? 2. How many people are riding in the car with Fred? 3. What year did Sgt. Pepper teach the band to play? 4. How much of a tip did taxi driver Harry Chapin get from his old girlfriend? 5. How many sounds would Tony Orlando hear if the girl downstairs changed her mind? Go get 'em!

3. 20 years ago today-so I guess 1947 from the recording.
5. Either 3 or 5 if you add the twice on the pipe.

1) 18,173 (assuming of course none of the mothers are also pickers)
2) hah! 8 (7 of whom are little girls)
4) $17.50

Either 3 or 5 if you add the twice on the pipe. 3. --I would have accepted 1946 as well since they started recording in December of 1966, and finished in April 1967. 5. Well, the twice on the pipe is a given, because I said she changes her mind - so either way: either its twice on the pipe and then three on the ceiling, or three on the ceiling and then twice on the pipe. Either way, it's 5. Good job, Adam!

Correct! 1,352 pickers and 16,821 mothers I thought of the combo mother/picker myself.. but I didn't wanna call anyone a mother-picker. 2. --- and the 8th is Paul Evans, singer, songwriter and chauffeuer. 4. Also correct, Mike. (I am ashamed to say, that I came across this question in a Trivial Pursuit game, and smugly answered "twenty dollars". D'oh! ) So, you get the last three correct, Mike. With Adam's two, Game Over! That was quick. I'll have to think up some others.

"And she handed me twenty dollars even though there was no fare"
(from the song "No Fare at All" )
