Some of you have probably seen this game already on RL, but for those of you who haven't, here is how it works.
I'm going to put a list of objects on the screen. Your job is to find them within either song titles or song lyrics. When you do, please post proof of your findings (i.e. a snippit of the lyrics containing the word). If it is correct, I will cross it off and give you credit for it.
I am going to ask ALL of you to limit your hunt to TWO OBJECTS. After all, it is Homecoming weekend, and we want everyone to play, right?
Here's the list. And, happy hunting!
1. A FRAME 2. LONG-STEMMED ROSES 3. A SKIRT 4. A FREEWAY 5. A CADILLAC 6. A NUMBER (not an actual number...just the word "number") 7. A BULLET 8. A CLOCK 9. COCA-COLA 10. A CAMERA 11. SHOES 12. A MOUNTAIN 13. A BIRD 14. A QUEEN 15. MEDICINE 16. A GEEK 17. AN INTIMATE RESTAURANT 18. COMPUTER GAMES 19. A CALENDAR 20. A POTATO
Remember...only TWO items per person to give everyone a chance...and there may be more than one answer for each item. I'll accept almost anything.
Good luck!

1. a frame-"3x5"-John Mayer ("tryin' to fit the world inside a picture frame") This would have worked for "a camera" too, although he sings that he _didn't_ have one. 20. a potato-"Let's Call the Whole Thing Off"-standard written by George Gershwin ("you say 'po-tay-to', I say "po-tah-to") This has been recorded by lots of people; Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald did it as a duet. (Juggie, does my answer for #20 count--since it's not really about a potato, but about how to pronounce the word "potato"?)

I remember back when I was a kid there was a man and woman morning radio show on every morning when I got up, and they'd sing "you say po-tay-to" almost every morning. So I associate that song with having to get up to go to school. I hate that $#@@% song!!

I don't REALLY hate the song, Laura. I thought you'd get the reference to that RL thread.

All right...I'll open it up to everyone...you can all give one additional one if you like.
I'll even offer up a few clues for the other items.
#2 - One of the most expensive videos of the '80's, filled with blond ambition. #3 - Ever hear of a Canadian singer called Amanda Marshall? She may have left her skirt behind in a song of hers. #4 - Soul sista still had r-e-s-p-e-c-t in the early '80's #11 - Peanut butter and banana sandwiches #15 - It made Bon Jovi sick #16 - Pepto Bismol...contains the "remedy" and the colour for this recent chart topper... #17 - Bet you never saw one of these in "Grease", mate! #19 - I always liked May...be if I ask your dad and mum...
(Hey, I never said the clues would be easy!)
