The current score: 55dodger 31 Pete 70s 6 Dawn 5 Jughead 5 Railyn 4 Ken 1 Laura 0 Gremashlo 0 Dave910 0 Everybody else DNP We have one that may be a little tougher now, unless someone just happens to catch on quick. (thet's not a hint. ) We have five artists, and you have to take something from each song and rearrange the words to put a phrase together - but not just any phrase -- a song title. So you can get up to 7 points on this one. A point for each song and 2 for the theme The artists: The Drifters ELO The Rolling Stones Gary Puckett and the Union Gap Journey (BTW, the song title in the theme is not by any of these artists) Name That Theme!

Are the artists here listed in the order in which the words appear? No, they are not in the right order, Laura. I guess my language wasn't very clear: "We have five artists, and you have to take something from each song and rearrange the words to put a phrase together" What I meant was you'd have to rearrange the words because the artists are NOT in the right order.

She's A Rainbow-The Stones Up On The Roof-Drifters ("...people are just too much for me to face") Woman, Woman-Gary Puckett

OK ... New clue time. Which means we are down to 6 points. These will be the only clues til Monday, and also the only point reduction til Monday.
Clue #1 - You only need the titles, and each song provides one word. (As I said before, you DO have to arrange the words in the correct order, however.)
Clue #2 - There has only been one try to answer so far - Pete's - and he did not name any of the correct songs.
Clue #3 All songs are at least top 20.
Good luck!

I'm surprised we've had no more guesses. -- But it has been quiet around here the past few days.
Anyway, some more clues.
1. All fo the songs are top 10 songs.
2. For all five artists, all you need are the song titles.
3. One word is taken from the title of each of the 5 correct songs.
4. The theme is a song title; it contains four words.
We're down to 5 points.
Name that theme!

The answer is: There are five correct songs. You use one word from each, and you produce the four-word song title. No words are used more than once, and each of the five words from the five songs are different. Fun. Huh? ;D
