His manager says he died in his sleep at a hotel. He was 63.

I just heard it on the radio. They said that they weren't sure how he died yet.
So sad. I mean, 63 is still fairly young. I wonder what was wrong.

Aw man, that sucks. I like the Righteous Brothers, I need to pick up a collection. They were THE blue eyed soul act, IMO. Their entrance into the Hall was WAY overdue. As much as I love Chicago and the Moodies and feel they are overdue, the Righteous were moreso, being around longer. Glad they were able to go in while he was still alive. RIP Bobby.

I read it early today & nearly cried! He was SUCH a good singer! From what I read on the AOL News, Bill Medley (the other Righteous Brother) was "broken up...he's not really coherent" according to their manager David Cohen. RIP Mr. Hatfield...now there's another star in "Rock & Roll Heaven"

Oh that's so sad he was an incredible singer . I was just watching a music documentary last week that included The Righteous Brothers and they were talking about working with Phil Spector. Bobby will be missed.

[glow=red,2,300]I heard about that this morning on the Today Show. I have always enjoyed their music, and so have my parents...they got to see the Righteous Brothers back before they were famous, and they've kinda gotten me hooked on them.[/glow]

My husband came home that night and told me he had heard that he had died. Later when I was in bed listening to the radio (Another station) a promo came on, believe it or not, for an "exclusive engagement" featuring the Righteous Bros November 14th and 15th"...(Or whatever the dates were) About 5 minutes later that station's news came on and it included the report on his death. My heart (Still) goes out to Bill Medley, as well as to his family. Btw, I heard and was going to post the name of the song he sang at the memorial, but I can't remember what it was right now. (Typical me)
