My parents are all for the Aviator in every category. I just haven't wanted to see too many movies recently, but I'm pulling for "Ray".
As highly overrated as they were (especially for sequels), Shrek 2 and SpiderMan 2 will each pick up some--although my choice for "Song" is "Believe" from "Polar Express". (That "Phantom of the Opera" song seems like a good bet too... Thank G*d there's no Eminem like tunes this year--that 2002 win was a TRAVESTY.)

I hope "The Aviator" wins a lot too. I thought that movie was brilliant. I'm not familiar with most of the song nominees. I may have to try and find some and give them a listen. The most pathetic thing about Eminem's win in '02 was the fact that poor Barbra Streisand was the one that had to announce that award. I'm sure a little bit of her died in that moment.

Judiging from all I've heard, I agree with you about Kevin spacey.
Plus I had hoped the movie would get more coverage and "introduce" more (Younger) people to Bobby Darin's music
And, naturally, i agree with those (Including, I believe, Leonard Maltin) who think The Passion of the Christ should not have been so overlooked
Like one person said, the actors in that movie had to learn an ancient foreign language to play their roles(!)

I was very happy to see that the views of the far left and the far right were both left out in the cold and that both Mr. Moore and Mr. Gibson will walk away empty-handed.
