That's a great list! I would have loved to have seen that triple bill and Foreigner!! Those were the same summer too! I had 6th row for Foreigner, stage left. At the end of the concert, we rushed the stage and I slapped hands with Lou Gramm. The triple bill we arrived late for so we missed most of 38 Special, but caught Hold on Loosely and Caught Up in You, so I was happy!

Way cool about Foreigner and hey....you got to hear 38 Special's two best songs!! BTW...I have live versions of those two songs that I found on the internet some time ago. Good stuff!!

Where is the JEALOUSY icon?? When I saw the Beach Boys, we didn't know how big they'd get. It was a cool concert, but it was in a relatively small club in a Boston suburb. Fleetwood Mac had been ariound for a few years, but this concert was right when Rumors had come out, and they were a couple of months away from REALLY making it. Again, I didn't know what I was seeing. McCartney, of course, was well known. Saw him at the now non-existant Atlanta Omni. Great concert.

I'm sure I'll forget a few acts, I always do, but here goes: (I also don't always remember years, but I'll do my best). Sonny and Cher--circa 1970-71. First concert I ever attended. I went with my parents. I still have the concert program. Elvis Presley--1973. I was only 10 at the time, but I knew I was seeing a legend. The Carpenters--1976. John Denver--3 or 4 times during the 70's/80's. REO Speedwagon--3 times, first was 1981. Last time was 2002. Styx--2002, with REO. Tina Turner--circa 1985. John Parr opened. Three Dog Night--late 70's, I think. Heart--Once during the 80's, once during the 90's. Barbara Mandrell w/Lee Greenwood--80 something. Steve Martin--Back when he was still doing stand-up. Not a musical act, obviously, but still...LOL! Peter Paul and Mary--late 80's. Amy Grant--2 or 3 times. Joan Jett--twice. First time I won backstage passes and got to meet her. That was 1988, I believe. Cheap Trick-- On the same bill with Joan Jett--got to meet them too. The Monkees--June, 2001. My friend and I went to a nearby bar afterwards, and Micky Dolenz walked in. I like to say we spent the night with a Monkee. LOL! Kenny Rogers--a few times. Dottie West was with him once. Wynonna Judd--late 90's. LeeAnn Rimes opened. Pat Benatar--Lots. I think I've seen her the most of any artist. From the 80's, 90's, and 00's. Melissa Etheridge--My favorite. Saw her in '94, and again in summer 2002. She rocks! There may be some more, but that's enough for now, anyway.

I also forgot Stevie Nicks on my list!!) I saw Yes at Wembley Arena in London in 1978. They had a rotating stage so there really wasn't a bad seat in the house. Their encoure was a 20 or 30 minute rendition of Roundabout. Cal Jam 1 featured Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Black Oak Arkansas, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Eagles, Rare Earth, & Seals & Croft. Heart was part of Cal Jam 2 Forgot a concert, and don't know how I could forget this one but I did Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Joan Armatrading, Graham Parker and Rumour, Lake, and a couple of other bands at an old WWII RAF base in Surrey, England in the summer of 1978.
