I saw Huey Lewis & the News in 1985 with a friend. The cocert was in upstate NY.
And (I'm SURE I'll get laughed at for this one but here goes):
I saw Sha Na Na in concert at Madison Square Garden in 1979. I was (and still am) a big fan of theirs.

Sadly,I have only attended two rock concerts in my life.We saw the Moody Blues with full orchestra at the Starplex theatre-now known as the Smirnoff,I believe.We saw Pink Floyd at Texas Stadium....oh,man!It was awesome!The music was so loud,so penetrating that every bone in my body was vibrating!What a fantastic experience!The Moody Blues were excellent,too.You would never guess that they were live,their sound was so true.

I've only been to two concerts, but they were awesome. I saw Cher when I was a freshman in high school, and Reba McEntire's Girls' Night Out in August of 2001.

Everyone in Atlanta has Buffet mania...his concerts sell out in less than 10 minutes. Four times I've had friends get me tickets and I've either had to work or had emergencies....GRRRRRRR

Major acts:

The Monkees: 86, 87, 96, 97, 2001 - usually by themselves, but 86 had Gary Puckett/Herman's Hermits/Grass Roots, and 87 had WEIRD AL - 2001 had some wanna be boy band (can't even remember the name - never heard from them again)

Weird Al: 87, 97, 99, 2000, 2001, and soon to be 2003 - always works alone, except for the 2000 show - Penn State brought in a lousy comedian. (and the show where he shared the bill with the Monkees)

Alabama - 86 - they were drunk - bad show

Garth Brooks (w/Martina McBride) - 92

Moody Blues - 88 (supposed to be w/Glass Tiger but they never showed)

KISS - 97 (w/Powerman 5000 - they stank) and 98 (w/Econoline Crush - they were ok)

The Charlie Daniels Band (w/a bunch of local country entertainment that wasn't very good) - 2002

Huey Lewis and the News - 2001 - no opener - they were great!

The Ramones 20th Anniversary Tour - 1996 (w/The Smarties - they were terrible!)

I've seen a bunch of no-name or has-been people that really aren't worth mentioning. That's all I can think of for now.
