Here are the CD's I've purchased in the last month or so:
Dwight Twilley - Between The Cracks - Volume 1 - This is a Rarities disc full of great power pop tunes from Dwight.
The Black Crowes - By Your Side - I finally got around to adding this to the collection - if like me you loved the first two albums you'll like this! - got it for $5
KISS - Alive 4 - KISS playing with The Melbourne Symphony - sounds odd doesn't it ?? well it works excellent disc!!
Marshall Crenshaw - What's in the Bag ?? - Marshall's latest - more classic pop from Mr.Crenshaw
Adriana Balic - For You - A great collection of very melodic tunes full of catchy hooks. A nice mix of pop, rock and jazz. She plays amazing piano , is incredibly cute and the girl can sing ! her vocal range is amazing

I heard that By Your Side was a throwback to old Crowes. I have the greatest hits, and the songs on there definitely are, I liked Only a Fool from the beginning. Kickin' My Heart Around is good too.
Ever hear Wiser Time off Amorica, though? Great tune!
As for me, well, when I was first down a week or so back, my wife told me to go buy something. I had intended on buying a Stooges DVD, but couldn't find a damn one!
Instead I ended up buying the final Martina CD I needed-The Way That I Am. That is the one with Independence Day, as well as Life #9, Safe in the Arms of Love and Strangers.

I've found a lot of great used CDs so far this summer. Some of the titles I've bought include:
The Best of The Doors Greatest Hits - Janis Joplin Untitled/4/Zoso - Led Zeppelin Pure Disco Greatest Hits - Lenny Kravitz Greatest Hits - ZZ Top Van Halen - Van Halen
I've also been ordering some of the CDs I was missing from Rhino's Have a Nice Day Super Hits of the 70's series. I still have 7 more to get.

With the exception of "Chips From the Chocolate Fireball" by The Dukes Of Stratosphear, I haven't bought anything all summer.
However, I go on vacation in a week, and I'll probaby come back with a couple new CD's!

"She Talks To Angles" and "Remedy" are two of my favorites. I heard he has a solo album out? ` Everyone here on these boards has such great music taste. I'm a little embarrassed to tell you what bought. The last CD I bought were in April, Madonna's "American Life", which was a disapointment. There are only two good songs. And I got Fleetwood Mac's "Say You Will"...it's a pretty good CD, but I wish Christine McVie stayed with the band. She was my favorite part of Fleetwood Mac. And I just thought of one more that I bought in the last six months, The Donnas "Spend The Night", that's a great album!

I've wondered what that new Fleetwood Mac album was like - I miss Christine as well she had such a great voice and her songs were always so good. What I've heard of The Donnas I like . Who Invited You is great!

Let's see...I usually find some pretty good CD's at garage sales and thrift stores. Recently, I've gotten "The Number One Hits" by Elvis Presley, "Who I Am" by Jessica Andrews (sealed. Cost me a buck), "The Chieftans: The Nashville Sessions"--Martina McBride is featured on this CD. You listening, Sat? This CD was sealed, too. 50ยข! I also picked up something called "Best Buy Presents Daryl Hall and John Oates 1998 Tour". It's a 2 CD set featuring Hall and Oates, Chicago, and lots of other artists. Couldn't pass that one up for a dollar! Lately, I've been making some purchases off Ebay, looking for CD's by certain artists, mainly from reading Sat's Opinions posts. I read about some of these people that I don't have on CD, and it makes me want to own something by them. LOL! So far, I've bought the Pointer Sisters, REO's Greatest Hits (I had nothing by them on CD. Hard to believe), and even Donny Osmond's Greatest Hits (trying to relive my childhood, I guess). I've just ordered a Suzi Quatro CD, but haven't received it yet. I'm looking forward to that one. Oh--and I recently went to Best Buy and bought Fleetwood Mac's new one, Say You Will.

Wow! Those are some great finds! I wish I had that kind of luck when I go to the used CD store where I live. I do most of my used CD shopping at "Hastings". You can check their used CD inventory at www.gohastings.com.
