That is NOT the "you say you want a Revolution" song. It's basically a bunch of noise. Oh, thanks for the clarification. I guess I'ev never heard it.

September Morn--Ick. When We Dance--Never liked Sting much, but this song is tolerable. New York Minute--Like it a lot. Oh Carol--Oh god. ;D Heartlight--Kinda boring. Scarborough Fair--Love this song. S&G are among my favorites. Russians--The title sounds familiar, but I can't place the tune. Chip Chip--Not a clue. Love on the Rocks--This one isn't too bad. Better than the previous Neil songs mentioned here. After the Fire--Again, title's familiar, but don't remember the tune. And I think I have that album on vinyl. Last Chance--Don't think I know it. Reunited--Can't place it. I just keep hearing the Peaches and Herb song in my head. LOL! Be Still My Beating Heart--Not familiar. To Be a Lover--Don't know it. Riu Chiu--Huh? Revolution #9--I remember the first time I heard this song. I was very annoyed by it. LOL! Chain of Fools--Really like this one, and I'm not a big Aretha fan. How Bad Do You Want It--Good song. Love On Your Side--Don't know it, I guess. Are We Ourselves--Probably my least favorite by The Fixx. So why would you have that vinyl if you don't know After the Fire? LOL!!

[glow=red,2,300]6460. September Morn'-Neil Diamond 1979/80- this is an okay song. Not one of my favorite Neil songs though, but less irritating than the song in which he laments that no one heard him, not even the chair. 6459. When We Dance-Sting 1994 I've only heard this one once and it was okay. 6458. New York Minute-Don Henley 1990 This one is okay too. 6457. Oh! Carol-Neil Sedaka 1959 I don't like Neil Sedaka that much period, and I really don't care for this song. 6456. Heartlight-Neil Diamond 1982 Suprisingly enough, considering how much I love the E.T. soundtrack and all, I have never heard this one. 6455. Scarborough Fair-Simon & Garfunkel 1968 As much as I love Simon and Garfunkel, this is one of my least-favorite of their songs. I like the song though. 6454. Russians-Sting 1986 Haven't heard. 6453. Chip Chip-Gene McDaniels 1962 Haven't heard. 6452. Love on the Rocks-Neil Diamond 1980/81 I don't really like this one. 6451. After the Fire-Roger Daltry 1985 The only song I like by him is the version he did of Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me. The rest I don't care for. 6450. Last Chance-John Mellencamp 1991 Haven't heard. 6449. Reunited-Greg Kihn Band 1986 Haven't heard. 6448. Be Still My Beating Heart-Sting 1988 Haven't heard. 6447. To Be a Lover-Billy Idol 1986 I don't really care for this. 6446. Riu Chiu-Monkees 1967 When I first saw this, I was thinking it was a Christmas song, since I heard a song called Riu Riu Chiu at a church Christmas program one time. I haven't heard this version though. 6445. Revolution 9-Beatles 1968 Haven't heard this one. 6444. Chain of Fools-Aretha Franklin 1967/68 This song is okay. 6443. How Bad Do You Want it?-Don Henley 1990 Haven't heard this one. 6442. Love On Your Side-Thompson Twins 1983 I didn't care for this one, but I'm not too big on the Thompson Twins on the whole. 6441. Are We Ourselves?-The Fixx 1984 If this is the one I think it is, it is an okay song. [/glow] Whoa, that is so cool you heard Riu Chiu in church! And they do repeat the word "Riu", so it has to be the same song!

Oh, thanks for the clarification. I guess I'ev never heard it. It was a Yoko-influenced avant garde piece. 8 minutes of talking, noise, etc. On the White Album.

Beatles version of Oh! Carol? Is that maybe a cover of Chuck Berry's song Carol on the BBC Sessions or something? Yeah, sorry about that.. I thought they were similar, kind of like Wilbert Harrisons "Kansas City" vs. Little Richards "Kansas City". Early 60's isn't really my level of expertise..

Well let it take forever! You have nothing else to do here, right? ;D
6460. Pretty song. My parents like it as well. 6459. Sting started to lose it with me somewhat starting with this. 6458. From his WAY overrated "Innocence" album. Can't stand this today; that hoot reminds me of the "DuckTales" theme. 6457. Tough luck. I LOVE this! 6456. This gives me shivers everytime. He had nothing as good since. 6455. Great tune! Even though it's used a bit much in "The Graduate" movie. 6454. WHAT WAS THE POINT??!!! This totally did nothing for me then, and I'm glad I've hardly heard it since. For Sting fans, it was just, well...Sting. And the mid 80's were a time of the US and the USSR coming together somewhat. GIVE ME "SEVENTH WAVE"!!! 6453. Well, different people see songs in different ways. Naturally, I LOVE Gene's music, let alone this song. You BETTER have more coming up from the Kansas City man! 6452. Not great, not bad. Better than "Hello again", but "America" was THE best ever! 6451. This record was recorded for some cause, IIRC. I was surprised it didn't do better. 6450. If it's Mellencamp, I LOVE it! 6449. Should get a "best of" CD soon--hope this is included. 6448. Not great, not bad. Nuff said. 6447. Kinda retro-style! I didn't like "Whiplash smile" quite as much as all his other albums. 6446. Should take a listen. 6445. Ah, the Beatles track many people dislike! This is awesome to listen to when you wanna kill time! 6444. Great tune! 6443. This is his best from that "Innocence" album, along with "If dirt were dollars". But PLEASE give me "I can't stand still"! (You BETTER have "Johnny can't read" up higher!) 6442. Rap, boy, rap! Awesome! 6441. Another great one from the 80's!

6460. September Morn'-Neil Diamond 1979/80 No thanks!
6459. When We Dance-Sting 1994 I like Sting, but not familiar with this one off the top of my head.
6458. New York Minute-Don Henley 1990 I never liked this one. And I've been to New York many times - what the #&^^% is a New York Minute?
6457. Oh! Carol-Neil Sedaka 1959 No thanks.
6456. Heartlight-Neil Diamond 1982 EEWWWWWWWWW!!!!
6455. Scarborough Fair-Simon & Garfunkel 1968 I like this one. Nice, mellow stuff.
6454. Russians-Sting 1986 I remember the climate well, but this song was a bit stupid - sorry. He could have made his point better.
6453. Chip Chip-Gene McDaniels 1962 Not familiar.
6452. Love on the Rocks-Neil Diamond 1980/81 I really don't like this song.
6451. After the Fire-Roger Daltry 1985 I can't place this one.
6450. Last Chance-John Mellencamp 1991 Again, can't place off the top of my head.
6449. Reunited-Greg Kihn Band 1986 Geez - not familiar either.
6448. Be Still My Beating Heart-Sting 1988 This one was ok.
6447. To Be a Lover-Billy Idol 1986 I like this one - don't remember the video.
6446. Riu Chiu-Monkees 1967 I really don't consider this a novelty. It's an old spanish christmas carol. We got a cool thing from the fan club one year with the words translated. It's something about protecting the village from wolves. It's pretty. I love a capella, and they carry it off so well. I really don't like Christmas music, and this is one I do haul out because it's one of the few I tolerate.
6445. Revolution 9-Beatles 1968 I liked it on the Simpsons better......"NUMBER 8 (BELCH) NUMBER 8 (BELCH) NUMBER 8 (BELCH).
6444. Chain of Fools-Aretha Franklin 1967/68 It's better than Respect in terms of hearing it over and over
6443. How Bad Do You Want it?-Don Henley 1990 Don't recognise it
6442. Love On Your Side-Thompson Twins 1983 It's ok.
6441. Are We Ourselves?-The Fixx 1984 I love this one! It's no Red Skies At Night, but it's not bad.

September Morn - Neil Diamond was great in the 60s & early 70s. By the the 80s, he wasn't doing much I liked, including this.
When We Dance - ?
New York Minute - This song actually sounds better on the He!! Freezes Over CD.
Oh Carol - Was never much of a Neil Sedaka fan.
Heartlight - Another 80s yawner by Neil, but my wife likes it, so I guess I do to.
Scarborough Fair - A favorite from the 60s
Russians - ? (guess I don't know Sting's solo efforts)
Chip Chip - ?
Love on the Rocks - This one actually wasn't that bad of a song.
After the Fire - The Who collectively are one of the greatest bands ever. It's a shame they couldn't transform that same energy back into their solo careers.
Last Chance - ?
Reunited - Don't know this one, I'll assume it's not a cover of the Peaches & Herb song from 1978.
Be Still my Beating Heart - ?
To Be A Lover - ?
Riu Chiu - ?
Revolution 9 - Was Charley Manson's favorite, not mine.
Chain of Fools - Good R&B from Aretha.
How Bad do You Want it - ?
Love on Your Side - ?
Are We Ourselves - ?
