Had trouble accessing the site at work, so I'm just getting this up now! 6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70 Very corny song, IMO. Kind of depressing, in a way. 6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987 And it doesn't stop! Best thing about this song is that it inspired one of Al's best parodies! "You ain't fat, you ain't nothin'!!" 6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 See comments for 6400. I remember Solid Gold doing a countdown of the best songs of the 70's and this one making it. 6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986 Tina was still on the comeback trail here. Respect what she has been through, but her music doesn't do much for me. 6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986 Rod REALLY whimped out during the 80's, especially when you compare it to the Faces era stuff. Hated the courtroom video. 6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 That makes three 60's/70's legends in a row that made lots of crappy 80's songs. I like the August LP, but thought this was an annoying single. 6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 Even before it was overplayed from Risky Business, I always was annoyed by this song. It's the song that nerdy non-rock fans do their extremely white dancing to at weddings. 6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987 The immortal hopping video! I have this 45. Probably has not seen the turntable since 87. 6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992 This was a Journey offshoot-about 10 years too late. It was formed around former members Greg Rolie, Ross Valory and Steve Smith, with a Perry soundalike and a Schon wanna be rounding out the band. I really was digging the Rolie sung Journey stuff at the time, so I picked this up. A little too pretty boy for me. 6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90 Another single from the big comeback/breakthrough album. Remember hearing this at a bar a lot at the time. 6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 Pleasant enough vocal song, just not my style. Too slow for me. 6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 Short instrumental penned by Pete Seeger, which Peter Tork covered, playing all instruments. Remained unissued until Missing Links Volume II. Not much to go on, but it was ok. 6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 Well, Glenn was the whimpest of the Eagles, IMO, and his solo stuff wasn't as good as his group stuff. 6387. You Can Leave Your Hat On-Joe Cocker 1986 I really didn't like Cocker's 80's. Although I liked the use of it in 9 1/2 Weeks! 6386. Bop 'Til You Drop-Rick Springfield 1984 The beginning of his decline from the pop charts. Rick was more of a chick act, but he had some decent rockers earlier on. 6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 From their comeback album. This was Peter's contribution. His voice almost sounds like it's yodeling. Give me Your Auntie Grizelda anyday. 6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 I actually had this single, I think it had been my dad's. Ended up selling it in a garage sale for .15! Not her best. 6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 Got tired of hearing this all the time back then. 6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 Again, Rick was starting to fade. I only remember hearing this a few times. Not awful though. 6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 We are in the middle of a bunch of Tina Turner songs in this section. Let's hear it!

6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70 I've always liked it, actually. The Burt Bachrach sound, that single trumpet. Something about this song, I can only picture hearing it on a rainy day. That or the dentists office..
6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987 When he says "I'm Bad", does anyone really believe him? I don't...
6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 Kitchy...
6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986 Know of it, but it came out about a year after I turned off the radio.
6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986 Terrible... There'd be many more of these from Rod..
6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 I thought this was OK. I only heard it once or twice.
6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 You said it best.. Everybodys 70 year-old aunt has to get up and drag people out onto the dance floor at the wedding reception to this..
6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987 Cheesest song he's ever done! Didn't like it then, don't like it now.
6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992 Name sounds familiar, I know who they are, but I'm drawing a blank..
6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90 Love this! Not quite as good as Enjoy The Silence, but always a crowd pleaser at the club!
6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 Don't know it..
6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 Not a bad little instrumental piece.. More like incidental music than an actual song..
6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 I liked it when it was out, that was a good time of my life, 8th grade..
6387. You Can Leave Your Hat On-Joe Cocker 1986 Don't know it.. 6386. Bop 'Til You Drop-Rick Springfield 1984 OK, but far from his best..
6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 I have this on the old Box Set. I did NOT like the Pool It cuts at all. The first 15 seconds sounded cool, when he starts singing, it's over.. They NEVER should have done that album!
6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 I like it, one of her better songs.
6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 I like The Heat Is On better.
6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 One of his lesser-known hits, but one of my favorites by him! I love this track!
6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 Follow-up to We Don't Need Another Hero. I know that one, I don't know this one.

6400 - Remember hearing this at a young age . I use to sing along with it. I 've also caught the video clip from Ed Sullivan a few times. 6399 - I also prefer Al's parody over the original. Mike just didn't do much for me around this time. 6398 - A couple of the later hits were kind of corny - Who's in the Strawberry Patch with Sally - is a perfect example only making it #27. I have Tie a Tellow Ribbon on Ktel's 22 Fantastic Hits and heard it often as a kid. 6397 - The title is familiar and I did hear it a few times back in the day but the melody isn't coming to me. 6396 - Yeah I have to admit Rod really bottomed out at this point. My least fave of his 80's hits. 6395 - I really liked this at the time and still listen to it every so often. 6394 - I've never tired of it for some reason . 6493 - I remember it - although I haven't heard it in years. It must be very hard to find on CD I'd tried to find an audio clip but was unsuccessful. 6392 - The group name rings a bell but I don't remember hearing any of the tunes. 6391 - Wasn't a fan 6390 - Nice tune! I don't hear it anywhere near as much on the radio as Only You or The Great Pretender. 6389 - Never heard it but the title is familiar . Would like to hear it someday. 6388 - IMO this and I Found Somebody were his best solo tunes. 6387 - LOL I agree Adam I thought it was quite a good tune - great horn section. 6386 - Don't remember this or 6382 - the last song and video I remember of his was Human Touch . I really liked his early stuff. 6385 - I really like Peter but this is a very weak and forgettable tune ,very dated sounding as well. Of the 3 "Pool it" tracks included on the Listen To The Band collection Heart and Soul was the only fave of mine. 6384 - I didn't mind it - it recieved alot of airplay here at the time. 6383 - I liked the video. 6381 - Don't remember it .

Rollin' on...
6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70 Loved it on AM radio in the 70's, went downhill a little, now I really LOVE it today.
6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987 I figured this would be coming up. Not as good today as then.
6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 I never grow tired of this or "You Light Up my Life". You never hear those in public places; I guess Muzak brass are too scared to program them in.
6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986 My 2nd fave of hers; spotless production.
6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986 I don't hear this hardly at all today. It's good.
6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 One of my faves of his EVER! In one of my dad's fave 80's films "The color of Money" (MUCH better than Henley's "Who owns this place").
6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 I figured, Sat, you'd be one of those Clicksters not to rave over this. I even put it in my "Disliked Hits" battle (figuring a lot of people I know HATE it), and it beat the Temptations "Aint too proud to beg". Course there are those like Ken and myself who love this song (I grew somewhat tired of it in the 80's), and it opened my first "Retro Project" concert! Rock on,Bob!
6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987 Not as top-notch as "Lights Out", and I don't play it a whole lot today. Indeed, it's cheese if you play it today!
6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992 I remember this being a pretty good song (but not as powerful as "Show me the way" or as rousing as (just played it yesterday!) "I've got a lot to learn about love". While Journey were apart for several years, the Storm's album was a good listen.
6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90 I remember liking this quite a bit, and I probably like it even more today than in 1990. Killer synth percussion and a "synth breath".
6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 Nice. One of the finest acts ever.
6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 Should investigate.
6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 My all-time fave solo tune from ANY of the Eagles. Well in my CRAZY top 1000.
6387. You Can Leave Your Hat On-Joe Cocker 1986 I'm familiar with both Joe's and Tom Jones' versions. Not too shabby.
6386. Bop 'Til You Drop-Rick Springfield 1984 After the disappointing success of the previous "Don't walk away", and the movie "Hard to Hold" out of wide-release, I thought this song wouldn't have a chance. But the tune was remixed even funkier from the soundtrack version, and enough people bought it to land in the top 20. He's had better ones.
6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 I've heard the title, but I've never been too interested in buying "Pool it".
6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 EASILY my fave of Melissa's. But her ballads are VERY slowly growing on me. Man, this really packed dance floors in 1982!
6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 Great Miami Vice tune, it would be a (probably fruitless) HUGE desire of me to track down an instrumental track of this tune--I LOVE the mid-tempo guitar feel of it, and not my fave vocal performance of Glenn's.
6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 How this failed to hit top 20 was WAAAAAAYYYY beyond me. One of his best EVER, maybe my 2nd or 3rd fave of his.
6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 I've ALWAYS LOVED this more than previous "...another hero". ALWAYS. Quite a different song for her, a solid pop-rock feel, great shouted vocals in the refrains and at the end.

6400. Cute at first, but now it just gets on my friggin' nerves.
6399. This song's okay, but I'm with you. The Al parody is much better!
6398. Ech. Horrible, awful song.
6397. Don't know it.
6396. See 6397.
6395. Don't know this one either.
6394. Love this song. My cousin did this really cute lip synching thing to it once. He actually won some kind of contest, I believe.
6393. I've never heard this song.
6392. Not familiar with it.
6391. Doesn't sound like I would like it.
6390. Don't know it.
6389. Or this one.
6388. This song is so lame.
6387. Don't know it.
6386. See above.
6385. Yet another one...
6384. I don't know this song.
6383. Don't know it.
6382. Ditto.
6381. I don't know this one either.

6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70 Overplayed and a little overhyped as his best. Not by a long shot. 6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987 Make it stop. Again I'm at a loss that this is higher than many good songs. 6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 Where's your sentimentality? Not as good as "Knock 3x" but still good. 6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986 Yuck 6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986 Okay, I know I'm in the very minute minority but I LOVE this song. It's one of my faves from Rod. The theme from the movie "Legal Eagles" FYI. 6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 Not one of my faves from him at all. Totally 80s. 6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 Overplayed and not one of his best. 6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987 No 6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992 Don't get my dad started...totally disappointing effort. 6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90 Another one that I don't mind but they have a lot better tracks. 6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 Ditto your comments. 6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 I like it well enough. Very dated. 6387. You Can Leave Your Hat On-Joe Cocker 1986 I like John Hiatt's version better. Or Tom Jones' for that matter. 6386. Bop 'Til You Drop-Rick Springfield 1984 Hee! Totally guilty of liking this song in junior high. 6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 ? I totally don't know anything about this group besides the hits. 6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 15 cents? Harsh. Not her best 6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 This is one that I don't mind. 6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 Not his best AT ALL. 6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 Next...

6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70 I'm not too fond of this one.
6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987 "Is that what they teach you in that sissy school of yours?""Back off me man, just back off""YO MAN DING DONG, DING DONG YO!" - we sooo look forward to that part of the concert - it's like going to Rocky Horror - we know it by heart! That, and Spatula City, and Wheel Of Fish.
6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 Ummm, no thanks.
6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986 Actually, I do like this one.
6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986 I too grew sick of the video/coming attractions trailer for Legal Eagles - a lousy movie.
6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 I'm not a Clapton fan.
6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 We did some majorly white dancing to this one at my wedding. I asked the DJ to throw it out, but too many of my guests wanted to hear it.......
6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987 "Now come on, WOO HOOO, come as your are, and we'll have a ball. Ain't gonna be no masquerade, WOO HOOOO, come as you are - or don't come at all!" I'm just gonna keep singing every time you run my songs down! And a big thanks to H2 for this one! ;D
6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992 Not familiar.
6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90 This song rocks!
6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 My mom used to listen to this stuff. Ew.
6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 I like this one. It reminds me of the yodeling song I can't think of the title right now that can be heard in the immortal classic "Raising Arizona". (Would you buy furniture at a store called Unpained Huffines? - LOL!)
6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 More Miami Vice stuff........
6387. You Can Leave Your Hat On-Joe Cocker 1986 I'm not a Joe Cocker fan, and not familiar with this one.
6386. Bop 'Til You Drop-Rick Springfield 1984 Not familiar.
6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 Pool-It wasn't too bad, but this song left a little bit to be desired - I much prefered "Since You Went Away".
6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 It's kind of annoying - talk talk talk talk talk - can't you see it's me? - NO!
6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 Yet more Miami Vice......
6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 Not familiar with this one either.
6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 I like this one, and rather enjoyed the movie.

Raindrops - Not a bad song, but BJ Thomas did better. The song won a Oscar, so it can't be all that bad, can it.
Bad - the title says it all.
Tie a Yellow Ribbon - Became a symbol for all deployed servicemen & women during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, continuing to today. I appreciate the song a little more now than maybe I did in the early 70s.
Typical Male - Don't know it
Love Touch - Don't know it.
It's in the Way That You Use It - Pretty good song. Got the album on vinyl.
Old Time Rock & Roll - Overplayed but who cares, I love it.
Come as You Are - Don't know it
Still Lovin' You - Got this on something somewhere. Thought it was Journey, shows what I now. Pretty good song.
Personal Jesus - Don't know it
Magic Touch - Love the Platters, this is a good song, but far from there best.
Seeger's Theme - Don't Know it
Heat Is On - I like this one.
You Can Leave Your Hat On - Don't Know it
Bop Till You Drop - Not as good as his early songs.
Gettin' In - Don't Know it
You Should Here How She Talks About You - Good song from Melissa. Got this album on vinyl
Smuggler's Blues - Another one from Glenn that I like
Celebrate Youth - Don't Know it
One of the Living - Don't Know it

Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head--Not bad, but not something I'd listen to on a regular basis.
Bad--I liked it a long time ago. Not anymore.
Tie a Yellow Ribbon--Fond memories of this song from my childhood.
Typical Male--I like it ok. Not on a par with her Private Dancer stuff, but listenable.
Love Touch--Love Rod, but this song was kind of annoying.
It's in the Way That You Use It--It's all right. If I hear it, fine. If I don't, that's ok too.
Old Time Rock and Roll--Heard it enough in my lifetime.
Come As You Are--I barely remember this. Can't really remember the video either.
Still Loving You--Not a clue.
Personal Jesus--Just heard this on the radio the other day, after not having heard it for years. I found myself singing along to it.
You've Got the Magic Touch--Don't think I know it.
Seeger's Theme--Don't know it.
The Heat is On--Never liked it.
You Can Leave Your Hat On--I will forever associate this song with 9 1/2 Weeks. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. ;D
Bop Til You Drop--Like it a lot.
Gettin' In--No clue.
You Should Hear How She Talks About You--Kinda goofy, but I enjoy hearing it once in awhile.
Smuggler's Blues--Hate it. Ick.
Celebrate Youth--Not ringing any bells.
One of the Living--This one I love. Haven't heard it in a long time. Good song!

6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70 Very nice - always loved this.
6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987 I liked this when it came out, but it hasn't aged well with me at all.
6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 A good one from them, but not their best.
6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986 One of my favorites of Tina's.
6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986 Not one of his better songs.
6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 This one's okay.
6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 Overplayed, but still a favorite.
6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987 Not sure about this one.
6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992 I don't know this one.
6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90 It's okay, but not their best.
6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 Good one - hardly ever hear it, though.
6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 I'm not familiar with this one.
6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 Good one - reminds me of my junior year.

6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 I don't know this one.
6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 I like this one a lot, but she does a better job on the ballads.
6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 This has grown on me a lot over the years.
6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 A huge favorite of mine, one of his best.
6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 Not one of my top Tina faves, but pretty good.

6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70 Kinda like it, but not my fave by him. 6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987 Eh 6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 I've seen this listed as #1 for '73. It isn't bad, but was hugely overplayed in the day. Liked others by this group better. 6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986 OK I guess. 6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986 Not his best. 6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 Don't think I remember it. 6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 The song was barely a hit in '79. It's not really that bad a song, but I really don't care for the concept of a song having limited success and then coming back as an "oldie" as if it were the hit of the century. 6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987 It's OK. Not my fave. --------- You are welcome, Railyn 6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992 Don't know it 6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90 Don't know it 6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 Next to Roy Orbison, Tony Williams was my fave male vocalist. I really like just about anything that he and the Platters did. Fast slow or in between. It don't matter to me. Magic Touch does not make my top 250, but it's close. 6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 Don't know it. 6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 I agree the Eagles as a group were better, and I prefer Henley as a soloist, but this wasn't bad. 6387. You Can Leave Your Hat On-Joe Cocker 1986 Don't remember this one 6386. Bop 'Til You Drop-Rick Springfield 1984 Eh 6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 Don't kbnow it 6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 MUCH prefer Midnight Blue. This one is too disco-y 6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 So-so 6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 Don't rememeber this 6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 Only vaguely remember it. Most of her music didn't do much for me.

[glow=red,2,300]6400. Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head-B.J. Thomas 1969/70-This song is okay every once in a while.
6399. Bad-Michael Jackson 1987- I never cared for this song either.
6398. Tie a yellow Ribbon 'Round the Ole Oak Tree-Tony Orlando & Dawn 1973 Don't like this one at all.
6397. Typical Male-Tina Turner 1986- Haven't heard this one yet.
6396. Love Touch-Rod Stewart 1986- Nor this one.
6395. It's in the Way That You Use it-Eric Clapton 1987 I've only heard this one once and didn't care for it.
6394. Old Time Rock-n-Roll-Bob Seger 1979/83 This is another once-in-a-while song.
6393. Come As You Are-Peter Wolf 1987-I don't really like this song that much.
6392. Still Loving You-The Storm 1992- Haven't heard this one.
6391. Personal Jesus-Depeche Mode 1989/90-I've never really been that big on Depeche Mode, and I haven't heard this one.
6390. (You've Got) The Magic Touch-Platters 1956 A lot of their stuff is too slow for me and this song is one of them.
6389. Seeger's Theme-Monkees 1968/90 Have't heard this one.
6388. The Heat is On-Glenn Frey 1984/85 I don't care for this song that much.
6387. You Can Leave Your Hat On-Joe Cocker 1986 Not too big on this one either.
6386. Bop 'Til You Drop-Rick Springfield 1984 Haven't heard this one yet.
6385. Gettin' In-Monkees 1987 I don't care for this song at all.
6384. You Should Hear How She Talks About You-Melissa Manchester 1982 I don't like this one that much.
6383. Smuggler's Blues-Glenn Frey 1985 I heard this one once and I wasn't too wild about it then.
6382. Celebrate Youth-Rick Springfield 1985 Haven't heard this one.
6381. One of the Living-Tina Turner 1985 This song is all right, I guess. Not one of my favorites. [/glow]

6399. Yes, I believe he is just plain BAD. 6395. Only once or twice? Man, are you lucky! 6389. Ah, you have the Links CD too?

6400. Actually, I have that clip too!

6382. I think it was just because his star was fading at this point.
