Here is twenty more! Maybe I'll start posting 100 a day! 6360. Let's Wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987 This was a nice enough ballad, I suppose, but nothing I'd choose to put on. 6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 This song is WAY annoying. Actually, I should have ranked this lower than I Can See Clearly Now. I actually don't remember this growing up. 6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 I think I prefer this over Al's original, but where the hell was it on my list?? LOL! I need to create some sort of program where I can access songs by title, etc. One of Tina's better efforts. 6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 This is one of Miss Ross' nicer songs, but still nothing out of this world. 6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 Celebration was ok, if overplayed, but I didn't dig these mid 80's hits as much. Actually, my wife has this tape in our collection. 6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 See what I mean about Hagar and annoying, dorky songs? 6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 My buddy and I have a field day ripping on this song and the lead singer's 'fro and mutton chops. Not to mention the "shh, shh, shh, UGH!" in the song. We have also joked about them coming out with a Mungo Jerry box set. 6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 Actually not much worse than the American version, I Want to Hold Your Hand, but I'm not gonna sit and listen to a song in German. 6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 Again, I'm not big on McDonald's voice. But this one isn't too bad actually. Still rather hear Another Park, Another Sunday. 6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 One of three singles on their second album. I THINK there was a video, but there other ones got way more radio and MTV play. 6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 Got way sick of this interning at the oldies station. But wouldn't it have fit in perfectly in the background at a swinging singles pad back in 66? 6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 I actually liked this a lot when it very first came out, enough to buy the 45. But then I got way sick of it. I think because the ending just keeps going and going.... 6348. Mystery Man-Tom Petty 1977 Love TP's first album a lot, a very timeless piece. But this is one of the weaker tracks (but still not all that bad). 6347. Used to Bad News-Boston 1978 I guess as a follow up, this was considered a disappointment. These days only the title track, and occasionally Feelin' Satisfied get any kind of play, after all cuts on the first album getting play. 6346. Go-Asia 1985/86 The later Asia stuff was kindof disappointing to me in comparison to the first album. 6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 See 6353, and substitute She Loves You. That song is better than Hand, so this is better than the German version. 6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 Ritchie was a talented young man, but they can retire this one now. 6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 And Rod's steady decline into mediocry continues. Hard to fathom such a bluesy rocker would be so content do Adult Contemporary stuff like this. 6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 Another album track from this Journey spinoff/imitation band. Bland. 6341. Desire-U2 1988 Sorry, didn't dig the singles off Rattle and Hum. There IS a great album track however, WAY up on this chart. Let's hear it!

6360. Let's Wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987 I can't stand Janet Jackson. I can't think of anything she's ever done that I like. 6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 A lot of people don't like this, but I do. More from the memories that it brings of when I was living in Canada. --but I like the song a lot also. All time top 250. 6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 Only heard this a few times. It's OK 6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 Typically, no more the R&B Supreme, but the M.O.R. songstress. Not bad, not great. 6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 One of their several mid-80s one word titled songs, that I can't keep straight as to which is which. In general their mid '80s stuff was OK, but not great. 6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 Don't know it. 6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 Never cared for the "skiffle group" sound. 6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 Wie nicht? Einer singend auf Deutsch ist ein Weg guten zum das speciale Beatles Lieden lernen. I don't know what I just said. I think I may have ordered lunch! Anyway, I like the original, so the German makes an interesting novelty. 6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 Always liked this one. 6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 Barely remember it at all. 6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 I don't think it would have fit in anywhere! I know that back in the day, a lot of people loved this song. I never saw what all the excitement was about. 6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 I like their sound in general. This one is very good. 6348. Mystery Man-Tom Petty 1977 Don't know it. 6347. Used to Bad News-Boston 1978 Don't know this one either 6346. Go-Asia 1985/86 May have heard it once or twice. 6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 Ich woll die sauerbraten haben, bitte. 6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 It's funny. Back in the day, this was simply the flip side of Donna. Then they make the movie, Los Lobos covers it, and it's Ritchie's most famous song. It's not bad, actually. 6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 Wasn't listening to him in those years. 6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 Don't know it 6341. Desire-U2 1988 Not bad.

No, stay with 20. I don't care if it takes more than a year (literally!). It would take me FOREVER to reply to 100 songs.
6360. Let's Wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987 Nice one, prefer the single mix with additional synth overdubs.
6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 Forever part of my life. I think I said before how this was so low on your chart. You either love this or dislike it.
6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 Never raved over her version; what was UP with that intro?
6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 Out of this world for me! My fave slow one of hers.
6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 I felt the first 3 singles from "Emergency" were hit-and-miss, but I LOVE the title track.
6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 I was thinking of getting the "Balance" album, but never have. Sure hope "Can't stop loving you"'s up high!
6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 Classic US one-hit wonder. I'm sure many youngsters know this too.
6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 Hey! Songs like this (let alone my Europe vacations) were what made me want to take German in high school!
6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 This and "It Keeps you Runnin'" were my faves from the McDonald era.
6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 I couldn't IMAGINE this song having no video! The lyrics (story line) are WAY COOL!
6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 Nice one. Don't hear it a whole bunch.
6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 Yeah, listen to the album version! You'll wonder "Does this ever end?" But I've never liked the single edit as much anyway, GO FIGURE!
6348. Mystery Man-Tom Petty 1977 I should look more into all of Petty's material (not on "Playback" I don't believe).
6347. Used to Bad News-Boston 1978 One of Boston's weaker tunes, but I still difg them all!
6346. Go-Asia 1985/86 Same here. But easily my fave off the third album "Astra". And I LOVE the later "Days like these".
6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 This even charted! Even heard this at my fave restaurant's jukebox! LOL! (On Rarities, I believe)
6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 I never get sick of the song, no matter who does it. This can eat "Donna"'s heart out any day.
6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 Some later stuff wasn't bad, but I never went bananas for this.
6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 Do know 3 tracks from their album, but not this one (I don't believe).
6341. Desire-U2 1988 My fave ever! Do that Indian tribal dance! WOO HOO! My fave of these 20!

6360. Let's Wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987 Hate it! 6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 So annoying... 6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 Al's original is better but I don't mind this cover at all. 6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 I love singing this song at karaoke bars. 6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 I like this track a lot. 6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 Don't know this one 6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 I think me and my buddy Matt have had the same conversation Adam! In college a group of us came up with a different set of lyrics about the hot humid grossness that is a Miami summer. We would sing it all the time. 6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 Never heard this one. 6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 6352?! A signature from them that is great. 6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 There was a video and it was bad! Not their best. 6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 I love this song actually. Does anyone remember Cher singing this on her variety show for Sonny Bono? I loved her version! Also Jamiroquai has a version that is awesome that he did with Jools Holland and his band. 6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 I like this one, but there are others that I like better 6348. Mystery Man-Tom Petty 1977 I totally agree with your comments 6347. Used to Bad News-Boston 1978 6346. Go-Asia 1985/86 Nope. I agree with your comments. 6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 Never heard any of the German stuff 6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 Overplayed but good. 6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 Not his best 6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 Next. 6341. Desire-U2 1988 Overplayed

In a bit of a hurry today 6360 - Never was a Janet fan I guess Black Cat was Ok- don't remember this. 6359 - This was the first 45 I ever bought back in '74 "hides head behind monitor" oh well Iliked it at the time and have it on CD as well. 6358 - Yeah she did a decent job 6357 - Yes one of her better solo offerings. 6356 - Don't remember this. 6355 - Guess I didn't miss much then LMAO! 6354 - I always thought it was a catchy tune LOL about the MJ box set. 6353 and 6345 - Idon't listen to the these versions all that often but every once in a while I'll give them a spin. 6352 - Bought the single back in '79 it was a big fave that year. 6351 - A buddy of mine was a big fan - I think I have this on a mix tape - I still really enjoy their music and I'm once again starting to hear them on the radio more and more. 6350 - My aunt has this on a 60's compilation tape I remember listening to it . Yeah it does recieve it's share of radio time. 6349 - I heard yesterday that they are reuniting and will be releasing a new album - always enjoyed this. 6348 - A good tune from an excellent record ! 6347 - I really love that album , and bought it back in '78 and since then have upgraded it to CD . Brad had an awesome vocal range. 6346 - Don't recall this although I do like the early material. 6344 - I still really like it 6343 - ick LOL 6342 - It's hard to believe their stuff would be so bland? 6341 - Not a huge U2 fan but this is a good one .

6360. I don't recall this song. The only really early Janet Jackson tunes that I know are Nasty and What Have You Done For Me Lately? 6359. "You are listening to AM Gold." Uck. This so is so BORING. It does absolutely nothing for me. 6358. Tina can make any song her own, but I'm partial to the original too. 6357. I like this song, but the title just sounds so dirty to me. I guess I'm just a pervert. LOL. 6356. Don't know it. 6355. I've never heard a single Van Halen song when Hagar was in the group. Sounds like I'm not missing much. 6354. This is a fun song, but it can get run in the ground. 6353. No clue. 6352. Don't know it. 6351. Never heard of it. 6350. Sounds familiar... 6349. Love this song. I wish I knew more music by Tears for Fears. I think they're really good. But I only know this and I think two other songs. 6348. Don't know it. 6347. See above. 6346. Don't know anything by this group. 6345. I wouldn't even put foreign language versions of songs that I liked on a list like this to begin with. I'll still to my native English, thank you very much. 6344. As Ebert and Roeper would say, two thumbs up. 6343. Don't know it. 6342. Never heard of this group. 6341. Some of their songs are okay (I don't know this particular one), but I'm not big on U2.

6360. Let's Wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987 I'm not much of a Janet fan, but this one isn't bad at all.
6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 Great 70s pop!
6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 Tina does a nice job with this one.
6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 Beautiful melody - one of my favorites of hers.
6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 Loved this back in the day, and still like it a lot, although not quite as much as I did then.
6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 I don't know this one, but in general, I'm not too fond of their later material.
6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 Interesting skiffle tune. I've heard that they were promoted back then as the "next big thing", kind of like The Knack/Beatles comparisons in 1979.
6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 I have this on one of their LPs, but haven't heard it in years. I like it, but prefer the original version.
6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 Love this! One of their best McDonald-era tunes.
6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 This was a big fave of mine in high school. I still enjoy it a lot.
6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 I've always liked this one.
6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 Great song from my high school days.
6348. Mystery Man-Tom Petty 1977 I can't quite place this one.
6347. Used to Bad News-Boston 1978 You're right about those two tracks being the only ones that get much airplay. I need to pick up Don't Look Back one of these days.
6346. Go-Asia 1985/86 Another favorite. I bought their Astra cassette back in 1986 just for this song.
6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 Not as enjoyable to listen to as the English version, but still a good tune.
6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 A classic, but a little overplayed.
6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 I'm kind of undecided on this one. It's definitely not up to the level of his earlier material, though.
6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 I'm not familiar with this one.
6341. Desire-U2 1988 I grew a little tired of this one when they used it in promos for the Olympics. Not bad, but not their best.

6360. Let's wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987 OK, but not great. Kinda surprised the pro-abstinence crowd hasn't picked up on this one. 6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 This was actually my favorite song for awhile when I was 8 years old 6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 Prefer Al Green's version. 6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 Tolerable would be the best way to describe it. 6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 OK, but the "she's so fresh" repetition got on my nerves after awhile. 6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 Don't know it. 6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 Like this one, pretty catchy. A lot is made of the "have a drink, have a drive" part nowadays. As one of our local DJs, Mike Smith, would say, "Mungo Jerry sings a medley of their hit." 6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 Never heard it. Gesundheit and Volkswagen are the only German words I know. 6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 Probably my favorite of the McDonald era. BTW, have you seen his new "Neighborhood" commercial? He looks old! 6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 I know I've heard it, but I've forgotten it. 6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 OK if kind of overplayed. Supposedly written about the Creator. 6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 Way repetitive. 6348-6346. Don't know them 6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 See 6353. 6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 Between this one and Los Lobos' remake, I've had my fill of this one, thank you.(It might help if I knew what they were singing about--and Spanish was my major in high school...*sigh*) 6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 Give me Maggie May or You Wear It Well anyday. 6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 Don't know it. 6341. Desire-U2 1988 Not much of a U2 fan--sorry...

[glow=red,2,300]6360. Let's Wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987- this song is all right, but nothing I am too crazy about.
6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 This song used to be one of my favorites, and I still listen to it every once in a while.
6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 This song is okay.
6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 Haven't heard this one.
6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 Nor this one.
6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 Nor this one either.
6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 This song kind of annoys me.
6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 I haven't heard this song.
6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 Most of their stuff annoys me and this song is one of them.
6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 I haven't heard this song.
6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 This song irritates me too.
6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 This song is all right, I guess. I've heard worse.
6348. Mystery Man-Tom Petty 1977 I only heard this once and I don't remember that much about it.
6347. Used to Bad News-Boston 1978 I haven't heard this one.
6346. Go-Asia 1985/86 Nor this one.
6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 Nor this one.
6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 I've never been that wild about this song.
6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 I'm not too wild about this song either.
6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 I haven't heard this song yet.
6341. Desire-U2 1988 I'm not too big on U2 anyway, and I really don't care for this song that much. [/glow]

Let's Wait Awhile--Seemed they showed this video on MTV (or VH1) every five minutes back in the day. I got tired of hearing it, and seeing it. Seasons in the Sun--A childhood favorite of mine. In fact, I have a very old cassette tape of myself and a couple of my friends singing along to this song, and a couple of others, from like, 1975 or 76. Early karaoke, I suppose. ;D Let's Stay Together--Much prefer this version over Al's. Never was much of an Al Green fan. Touch Me in the Morning--Pretty good, considering it's Diana. Fresh--For a song with this title, it got really stale, really fast. Big Fat Money--Never heard of it. I guess I only know the Van Hagar big hits. In the Summertime--Another childhood favorite of mine. Absolutely love it. Komm, Gib, etc--Don't know it. What a Fool Believes--Don't mind hearing this once in awhile. Dr. Heckyll and Mr. Jive--The title sounds familiar. Can't place how it goes. Sunny--Never did like this much. I remember Cher singing it on one of her albums. Don't remember if it was spelled "Sonny" on the album or not. ;D Shout--Can't stand this song. I do have fun memories of a group of us singing it at a party one drunk night at the top of our lungs over and over, though. Mystery Man--Don't think I know it. Used to Bad News--I'd probably know it if I heard it. Go--Not bad. Listenable. Sie Libet, etc.--Don't know it. German ain't my thing, I guess. La Bamba--Way tired of it. My Heart Can't Tell You No--It's all right. I used to like it pretty well, but these days if I hear it, I tend to tune it out. Call Me--If it's not the Blondie song, then I don't know it. LOL! Desire--Not big on U2, but I do happen to like this song a lot.

Here is twenty more! Maybe I'll start posting 100 a day! - Geez - what are you trying to do to us? 6360. Let's Wait Awhile-Janet Jackson 1987 Can't wait long enough between times I have to hear this song............ 6359. Seasons in the Sun-Terry Jacks 1974 I always hated this one - he's talking about dying and I really hated it when he got to the Michelle part because that's my middle name and for some reason it really bothered me. 6358. Let's Stay Together-Tina Turner 1984 I like her version, but this was around the time that she was starting to be forthcoming about splitting with Ike and it kind of didn't make sense..... 6357. Touch Me in the Morning-Diana Ross 1973 6356. Fresh-Kool & the Gang 1985 I was never really big on Kool (or the Gang) but this song was exceptionally lame. 6355. Big Fat Money-Van Halen 1995 I never listened to VanHagar unless it happened to come on the radio. 6354. In the Summertime-Mungo Jerry 1970 It would be like that Macarena cd that had one song done about 30 different ways. 6353. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand-Beatles 1964 You shot who in the what now? (probably no one but H2 will get that joke) 6352. What a Fool Believes-Doobie Brothers 1979 This one is tolerable. 6351. Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive-Men at Work 1983 This was on the Cargo album that my friend borrowed, never returned, then claimed it was hers not mine. 6350. Sunny-Bobby Hebb 1966 It's ok but kind of eh. 6349. Shout-Tears For Fears 1985 This song ROCKS! 6348. Mystery Man-Tom Petty 1977 I'm not familiar with this one. 6347. Used to Bad News-Boston 1978 The only one I really know is the obligatory More Than A Feeling. 6346. Go-Asia 1985/86 Love Asia. 6345. Sie Liebt Dich-Beatles 1964 See my previous obscure joke. 6344. La Bamba-Ritchie Valens 1958/59 It's not too bad, as foreign language songs go. 6343. My Heart Can't Tell You No-Rod Stewart 1988/89 No thanks. I can tell Rod no......... 6342. Call Me-The Storm 1991 Not familiar. 6341. Desire-U2 1988 This one is ok, but not the U2 sound that I grew to love.

6353. I had a calender one year that said, "After four years of Spanish, all you can say is 'My dog is under the wastebasket'"! LOL! 6345. Did you tell me to bite you?? 6344. This wasn't a hit back then?

LOL! (On Rarities, I believe) 6344. I was just teasing. I think it will take a full year! Almost anyway. 6355. At one point, I would have. Then I went to tape it, and the tape kept screwing up, so I taped it like 15 times and got sick of it! LOL! 6348. No it's not. 6345. Yes it is, so you can vote on it in JP's poll!

6341. Desire-U2 1988 Overplayed 6351. I am sortof recalling it now.....
