Ok, here we go again! 6260. Ring My Bell-Anita Ward 1979 Second worst disco tune. This one just annoys me. 6259. Number of the Beast-Iron Maiden 1982 (Previous ranking 3867) Sort of their signature tune. You can find some rock stations that will break this out on a "lost classics" or 80's weekends. Not their best however. 6258. Storybook of You-Monkees 1969/88 Yes, another originally unreleased song. This also ended up on their Missing Links Volume 1 collection. Another Davey song, sortof corny. 6257. Ebony and Ivory-Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder 1982 Better than Say Say Say, but that's not saying much. This song was HUGE back then. 6256. One on One-Hall & Oates 1983 I still liked H&O in the 80's, but this was just too slow for me to enjoy. 6255. Shining Star-INXS 1991 This was the new studio track on their live release. I basically listened to it so I would have 3 different Shinging Star's on this list. 6254. The Pleasure Principle-Janet Jackson 1987 This album got tons of MTV play back then. Drove most of us nuts. 6253. Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You?-Stevie Nicks 1986 Stevie does well on ballads, like Landslide or Sleeping Angel, but this was just TOO slow. A rare Stevie song I don't like. 6252. Heaven in Your Eyes-Loverboy 1986 Not the type of group to do a ballad. The chicks digged it, I guess. 6251. Syncronicity-Police 1983 For part II being so good, this non-single sure sucked. 6250. Breath Away From Heaven-George Harrison 1987 A nice enough song from George, just nothing really special. 6249. For the Love of Money-O'Jays 1974 This wasn't as bad until the oldies station used it everytime they had "cash giveaway" contests! 6248. The Purple People Eater-Sheb Wooley 1958 Recently deceased. RIP. Neat novelty song at the time. Corny these days. 6247. Short People-Randy Newman 1977/78 The king of Pixar soundtracks. His signature tune. Nothing bad, just tired of it. 6246. What Kind of Man Would I Be?-Chicago 1989/90 Eh. They should have been calling back Peter. 6245. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship 1987 So many people point to We Built This City as being the embarrassment of their career. I'm sorry, but THIS song has got to be it! Extremely bad. Surprised I have it this high. 6244. All This Time-Sting 1991 A little bit more upbeat than their songs at the time. Again, his solo career just wasn't up to snuff. 6243. Reason to Live-Kiss 1987/88 Kiss gets corny and preachy. I think it was stuff like this that made fans so glad when they made the album a few years later that was really heavy. 6242. Show Me the Way-Styx 1990 Know what I said about Starship up there? Substitute Babe and this song there. Babe is SO much better than this dreck. 6241. Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 An originally unreleased drum track from 76 that Page brought out for their Coda album. Very good instrumental, but not as good as Moby Dick. Let's hear it!

6260. Ring My Bell-Anita Ward 1979 The chorus can be a little annoying but I like the melody of the verses. 6259. Number of the Beast-Iron Maiden 1982 (Previous ranking 3867) I never was a real Maiden fan 6258. Storybook of You-Monkees 1969/88 Don't know it 6257. Ebony and Ivory-Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder 1982 Will ALWAYS remind me of the SNL skit with Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo - "You are black, and I am white. You are blind as a bat, and I have sight..." 6256. One on One-Hall & Oates 1983 Not fave from them but not bad. 6255. Shining Star-INXS 1991 I don't remember this one 6254. The Pleasure Principle-Janet Jackson 1987 LOVE it! Love the video too. 6253. Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You?-Stevie Nicks 1986 Not her best. I like this album though 6252. Heaven in Your Eyes-Loverboy 1986 This chick doesn't dig it at all. 6251. Syncronicity-Police 1983 I don't mind this but it's hardly my fave from them 6250. Breath Away From Heaven-George Harrison 1987 Don't know this one 6249. For the Love of Money-O'Jays 1974 Excellent excellent tune. 6248. The Purple People Eater-Sheb Wooley 1958 So corny... 6247. Short People-Randy Newman 1977/78 I like this song a lot actually. Look for it in my upcoming childhood soundtrack lists. 6246. What Kind of Man Would I Be?-Chicago 1989/90 No. 6245. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship 1987 Ahh...from the great movie "Mannequin". So cheesy. 6244. All This Time-Sting 1991 I'm hot and cold on this one. Sometimes I like it, other times hate it. 6243. Reason to Live-Kiss 1987/88 Do you remember the video? Eeek 6242. Show Me the Way-Styx 1990 Does Babe get a lot of flack? Compared to this tune it was a masterpiece. 6241. Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 I totally don't remember this.

6260. Used to love to make fun of this song. It gets on my nerves SO bad. 6259. Don't know it. 6258. Another Monkees tune I don't know. Surprise, surprise. 6257. I never saw why this song was such a big hit. It's just not that great. 6256. Sorry, don't know this song. 6255. Don't know their Shining Star. Maybe I'll know the others! 6254. Not familiar with it. 6253. I'm gonna have to look for this one. Heck, I'm gonna have to get a Stevie album. I LOVE her, I just don't know much of her solo stuff. 6252. I think I've heard this one, but I can't place it. 6251. Yeah, I've heard this one's bad, but I don't know it. 6250. Don't know any solo work of George's. 6249. Don't know it. 6248. A lot of songs I like are corny, but I don't like this one at all. It's just not the right type of corny I guess. LOL. 6247. Grr...I hate this song. I'm short. 6246. No clue. 6245. Here either. 6244. Glad I don't know it. His solo stuff is kind of weak. 6243. Kiss? Preachy? How odd for them! 6242. Don't know it. 6241. Not familiar with this Zep tune.

"Sinatra" singing, "Side by side you are my amigo, negro, let's not fiiiiiiiiightttttt." Classic 6242. Yeah, from the guys who like the hard rockin' stuff like Miss America and Suite Madame Blue. Tommy Shaw himself said they were going into "Barry Manilow territory."

Her single disc hits collection is a nice start, but I know you like her a lot, so you REALLY need to invest in her 3 disc set! There are so many NECESSARY songs on there! Kathy will back me up on this. Save up for it. Or get it from a record club when they have box set sales.

6260. Ring My Bell-Anita Ward 1979 Anita never rang MY bell. 6259. Number of the Beast-Iron Maiden 1982 (Previous ranking 3867) Don't know it 6258. Storybook of You-Monkees 1969/88 Don't know it. 6257. Ebony and Ivory-Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder 1982 I kinda like it actually. I compare it more to 3DN's Black and White, which I hate. Ebony and Ivory is MUCH better by comparison. BTW, I don't know why you compare Ebony and Ivory with Say Say Say. On Ebony and Ivory, Paul is singing with a BLACK guy. -- Or should I say, with a black GUY, or should I just say with a guy that the first thing you notice about him is his talent. 6256. One on One-Hall & Oates 1983 So-so. I can take or leave it. 6255. Shining Star-INXS 1991 Don't know it. 6254. The Pleasure Principle-Janet Jackson 1987 No thanks 6253. Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You?-Stevie Nicks 1986 Don't know it 6252. Heaven in Your Eyes-Loverboy 1986 Barely remember it. So-so, I think. 6251. Syncronicity-Police 1983 Don't know it 6250. Breath Away From Heaven-George Harrison 1987 Don't remember it. 6249. For the Love of Money-O'Jays 1974 Never impressed me 6248. The Purple People Eater-Sheb Wooley 1958 Fine novelty song. Built on the Witch Doctor craze. Bit of Trivia: Sheb also sang novelty country songs under the pseudonym "Ben Colder" and was also an accomplished Western actor in the movies and on TV. 6247. Short People-Randy Newman 1977/78 I always liked this one - especially since my wife is about two-foot nothin'. 6246. What Kind of Man Would I Be?-Chicago 1989/90 Not great 6245. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship 1987 I don't mind this at all. They've done better, but I don't consider EITHER this or We Built This City as embarassments 6244. All This Time-Sting 1991 Don't know it 6243. Reason to Live-Kiss 1987/88 Don't know it 6242. Show Me the Way-Styx 1990 Don't know it 6241. Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 Don't know it

6260. Ring My Bell-Anita Ward 1979 Another one disco top 40 hit wonder I LOVE. Believe me, ALL disco songs from 1979 RULED! Easily in my CRAZY top 800.
6259. Number of the Beast-Iron Maiden 1982 (Previous ranking 3867) LOVE the spoken intro, taken from a biblical passage in Revelation. Cool rocker, but don't listen to it much.
6258. Storybook of You-Monkees 1969/88 Did someone say CORNY? I gotta look this up just for that reason!
6257. Ebony and Ivory-Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder 1982 One of the best videos EVER. Saw it lots on MTV (via my brother), even on America's Top 10 and Solid Gold. May never be out of my top 100 (Thank the lord this never got overplayed, heehee...)
6256. One on One-Hall & Oates 1983 Lord, did I hate a remix of it. The album version's the one. Nice one.
6255. Shining Star-INXS 1991 This made my chart, but I hardly remember it!
6254. The Pleasure Principle-Janet Jackson 1987 Not her very best from Control, but still a great album.
6253. Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You?-Stevie Nicks 1986 Thank the Lord I don't hear this at all today. I disliked it back then.
6252. Heaven in Your Eyes-Loverboy 1986 With "This Could be the night", two VERY top 40 friendly tunes. Otherwise a SMOKIN' 80's rock band! But these 2 ballads were fine as well (fueled from that Footloose song).
6251. Syncronicity-Police 1983 This wasn't that bad, but it'll probably never make my top 6000 as well. (I do know quite a few more tunes... ;D)
6250. Breath Away From Heaven-George Harrison 1987 Don't even recognize the title, yet I played 5 or 6 songs from "Cloud Nine" in college!
6249. For the Love of Money-O'Jays 1974 This song is for the GOOD old school soul and funk lovers. One of their best.
6248. The Purple People Eater-Sheb Wooley 1958 My mom has never gotten sick of this. This and "Hello mudduh" (due to lots of Dr. Demento airplay) have driven me to the point of boiling over. Worse, I still think this was in my CRAZY top 1000--1995 style) But RIP anyway, Sheb.
6247. Short People-Randy Newman 1977/78 Not great, not bad. One of my lesser fave top 40 hits of 1978. This has not aged ONE BIT.
6246. What Kind of Man Would I Be?-Chicago 1989/90 I will die if I should ever find this in a certain Clickster's Top 10 Chicago tunes of all time. I can't believe this song hit top 5--their music seemed ANCIENT for 1990.
6245. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship 1987 Got tired of it--for just 5 years. Appeared on Billboard Top Hits 1987 and I loved it all over again. Not sick of it in the least today; eternal top 500.
6244. All This Time-Sting 1991 Not too impressive-"Lose my faith" was MUCH better.
6243. Reason to Live-Kiss 1987/88 I have the "Crazy Nights" CD. Not a bad song, but there are better ones on the CD (especially the title song)!
6242. Show Me the Way-Styx 1990 The King of the Persian Gulf War tunes. Not bad, but still doesn't compare to Babe (1979!).
6241. Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 Coda was an album NOT in either of my college radio stations! But I swear I've heard this...

6260. Ring My Bell-Anita Ward 1979 It wouldn't be so bad if she had a better voice. Her voice is too high and whiny. 6259. Number of the Beast-Iron Maiden 1982 (Previous ranking 3867) Was never into these guys - their album covers freaked me out. 6258. Storybook of You-Monkees 1969/88 It's ok - definately not their greatest work. 6257. Ebony and Ivory-Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder 1982 I still like the SNL gag "Frank Sings Songs The Young People Will Enjoy" 6256. One on One-Hall & Oates 1983 I love this one - love the smooth Philly sound! 6255. Shining Star-INXS 1991 It's ok. 6254. The Pleasure Principle-Janet Jackson 1987 When this song was popular - and I absolutely hated it - my ex wrote "The Pleasure Principal" in my yearbook next to the principals picture - and if you'd see him.....ew! 6253. Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You?-Stevie Nicks 1986 I don't know this one. 6252. Heaven in Your Eyes-Loverboy 1986 One chick who didn't dig it right here....... 6251. Syncronicity-Police 1983 There were 2 different Syncronicities, and both were drastically different. The first one was kind of new wav-ey sounding and the 2nd one was about the dark scottish lake - very different sound. 6250. Breath Away From Heaven-George Harrison 1987 It's pretty good. 6249. For the Love of Money-O'Jays 1974 Love this one! 6248. The Purple People Eater-Sheb Wooley 1958 Eh - too hokey. 6247. Short People-Randy Newman 1977/78 Not a fan. 6246. What Kind of Man Would I Be?-Chicago 1989/90 A local radio station did a send up of this one (which I never liked) "What kind of man would I be, wearing a dress and earrings and makeup" - that's all I can remember 6245. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship 1987 Just as cheesey as the movie. All the parts of the movie that take place in the "new and hip" department store were filmed at the Camp Hill Mall, less than an hour from here, in the Boscov's store. We went down and saw some filming. The other parts were filmed at John Wannamaker's in Philly before it went under. Big, beautiful department store........ 6244. All This Time-Sting 1991 I like this one too. 6243. Reason to Live-Kiss 1987/88 I'm not familiar, but it doesn't sound like it's any big loss.... 6242. Show Me the Way-Styx 1990 Not familiar. 6241. Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 Definately not familiar.

6260. Ring My Bell-Anita Ward 1979 Not my favorite disco tune, but it brings back a lot of memories of that time.
6259. Number of the Beast-Iron Maiden 1982 (Previous ranking 3867) Not their best.
6258. Storybook of You-Monkees 1969/88 I've never heard this, but I generally like Davy's songs - should investigate sometime.
6257. Ebony and Ivory-Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder 1982 I've always liked this. Heard it lots back in '82, but very rarely today.
6256. One on One-Hall & Oates 1983 Nice one from Daryl & John - the H20 album is great.
6255. Shining Star-INXS 1991 I don't think I'm familiar with this one.
6254. The Pleasure Principle-Janet Jackson 1987 I never cared for this one.
6253. Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You?-Stevie Nicks 1986 It's been quite a while since I've heard this, but I remember I didn't like it that much.
6252. Heaven in Your Eyes-Loverboy 1986 Okay, but 'Lovin' Every Minute of It' was much better.
6251. Syncronicity-Police 1983 Pretty good - not the best from that album, though.
6250. Breath Away From Heaven-George Harrison 1987 Like the previous Cloud Nine song on your list, this is one I don't recall well offhand. I need to get that tape out and have a listen!
6249. For the Love of Money-O'Jays 1974 Classic O'Jays! Love it.
6248. The Purple People Eater-Sheb Wooley 1958 It's kinda cute, but not a song I'd want to hear every day.
6247. Short People-Randy Newman 1977/78 Good one from Randy, very tongue-in-cheek.
6246. What Kind of Man Would I Be?-Chicago 1989/90 No - this one I just couldn't get into.
6245. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship 1987 One of my lesser faves from this group.
6244. All This Time-Sting 1991 Except for a few songs, I'm not big on his 90s material.
6243. Reason to Live-Kiss 1987/88 I can't place this one, but in general their 80s material wasn't as good as the earlier stuff, IMO.
6242. Show Me the Way-Styx 1990 I must have missed this one at the time.
6241. Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 I'd be interested in checking this one out.

6260 - The tune is ok but her voice got on my nerves - there are way better disco tunes. 6259 - The title is very familiar , it 's been quite a while since I've heard it. 6258 - Don't know it. 6257 -I thought It was ok, I bought the 45 at the time and didn't mind it at all , I had alot of fun playing it in concert band but it's far from being one of his best . 6256 - I thought it was pretty good although not as memorable as say Private Eyes , but this recieved it's share of airplay locally. 6255 - Nope , don't know it Hmmm. 6254 - Yup it sure did 6253 - Don't know it 6252 - Yup remember it well , heard it many times. thought it was alright. 6251 - Actually for me it was kind of a fun song to drum along with . It was better than Mother - ewwww 6250 - Kind of a nice tune - nice melody but the weakest track from an otherwise brilliant album. 6249 - Among my O'Jays faves. 6248 - Kind of corny yeah - but I like it. 6247 - Back in the 70's I think I heard more about the controversy surrounding the tune than the song itself . I didn't really see what all the fuss was about. 6246 - Don't reacall this. 6245 - Mannequin - an 80's classic LOL 6244 - Nope 6243 - I've just become familiar with this one . I'm still filling in my KISS CD and tape collection as far as the 80's - I, so far only have Crazy Nights on cassette. I actually don't mind it - it's your typical mid 80's power ballad - and if you think about it there were alot of them - big drum sound , keyboards etc. It's one of three tracks on the album that Paul co wrote with Desmond Child - Paul was writing with him quite a bit back then. 6242 - Not one of their best - but I seem to remember radio loving it. 6242 - A buddy of mine was in his "Zeppelin phase" around this time and bought the Coda LP back then . I thought this was a cool track and included this on a Zep mix tape that I made back in the 80's . I like the electronic effects on the tune .

6260. Ring My Bell-Anita Ward 1979 By this point, Disco was at it's cheesiest! I'll take 1976 disco over 1979 disco any day.
6259. Number of the Beast-Iron Maiden 1982 (Previous ranking 3867) I don't mind hearing this one from time to time.
6258. Storybook of You-Monkees 1969/88 I have this,m I just need to listen to it.
6257. Ebony and Ivory-Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder 1982 It's alright.. there's better cuts on Tug of War.
6256. One on One-Hall & Oates 1983 Always liked it.
6255. Shining Star-INXS 1991 I remember the live album, but never bought it. They were on the way down at this point.
6254. The Pleasure Principle-Janet Jackson 1987 No..
6253. Has Anybody Ever Written Anything For You?-Stevie Nicks 1986 Heard it once and instantly forgot it.
6252. Heaven in Your Eyes-Loverboy 1986 Next...
6251. Syncronicity-Police 1983 This was OK, but I agree, II was better.
6250. Breath Away From Heaven-George Harrison 1987 Not sure, I don't remember this one.
6249. For the Love of Money-O'Jays 1974 Classic bass line.
6248. The Purple People Eater-Sheb Wooley 1958 Eh.
6247. Short People-Randy Newman 1977/78 "You gotta pick 'em up just to say hello...." Classic..
6246. What Kind of Man Would I Be?-Chicago 1989/90 I almost inadvertantly typed "good one" but then was like "What am I THINKING!!"
6245. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now-Starship 1987 Pass the bourbon, Grace...
6244. All This Time-Sting 1991 I remember the cheesy video with the steamboat. Bought the 45, but it wore off quickly.
6243. Reason to Live-Kiss 1987/88 Kiss by 1987 was so bad I can't even describe it in words. Nothing good ever came from the pen of Desmond Child...
6242. Show Me the Way-Styx 1990 I always skip over this one when I play the Greatest Hits.
6241. Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 Eh. It's a drum solo... Not that it's bad, but "Moby Dick" it ain't..

Ring My Bell--Hate, hate, hate this song. It gets on my last nerve.
Number of the Beast--Don't think I know anything by Iron Maiden.
Storybook of You--Totally don't know it.
Ebony and Ivory--If nothing else, this song has to exist so that the hilarious SNL parody could be made with Joe Piscopo and Eddie Murphy.
One on One--Another one I absolutely loathe.
Shining Star--Don't think I know it.
The Pleasure Principle--Yuck.
Has Anybody Ever Written Anything for You--No, they haven't. Oh, the song? It's ok. Not one of Stevie's best.
Heaven in Your Eyes--Can't quite remember it.
Syncronicity--Don't like it much.
Breath Away from Heaven--Not familiar with it.
For the Love of Money--Love this one. Had the 45 and played it often.
The Purple People Eater--My dad had a double album--one record was Sheb Wooley, the other was Ben Colder. He played those records to death, so I heard my share of The Purple People Eater when I was growing up.
Short People--I used to love to sing this to one of my short friends when I was younger. She got very annoyed with me. LOL!
What Kind of Man Would I Be--It's an ok song--a little sappy though.
Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now--Pretty lame song. So was the video.
All This Time--Barely remember it. I do remember not liking it a whole lot.
Reason To Live--Not sure if I know it or not. Title sounds familiar, can't place the song.
Bonzo's Montreaux--Not a clue about this one.

Bonzo's Montreux-Led Zeppelin 1976/82 Don't know it 6260. She never rang my bell either-honest honey, I was at the movies that night!! 6245. I think it was the old die-hards, who thought these were a far cry from White Rabbit.

May never be out of my top 100 (Thank the lord this never got overplayed, heehee...) 6256. (I do know quite a few more tunes... ;D) 6250. 6244. I agree, that one is much better.
