6060. Bad Boy-Ray Parker Jr. 1982/83 My dad liked this one. Sort of forgotten in the wake of Ghostbusters. 6059. Winner Takes it All-Sammy Hagar 1987 Another song made while in Van Halen. This was the theme to Over the Top. I think the song is a bit "over the top". 6058. Touch and Go-The Storm 1991 Yes, another appearance of the dreaded Storm! Sounds more like they are singing "Just say no". I should have done that, before getting this tape. 6057. Yer Blues-Beatles 1968 Never liked this. And hated that Birthday faded into it. The only Beatles song John did at the Toronto Peace Festival in 69. 6056. Impulsive-Wilson Phillips 1990 Didn't many of their songs sound the same? 6055. Moonlight Bay-Beatles 1963/90 This was a recording off of a British variety show, where the Beatles tackled this pre-rock song. Released on Anthology. 6054. The House is Rocking-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989 I've said it so many times on here, I respect the man's talent, and he was gone WAY too soon, but I just don't dig the white boy blues. 6053. Rosemarie-Monkees 1968/88 Yes, another Missing Links track. This one is kind of goofy. I THINK Mickey wrote this himself. Rose Marie once appeared on the show-did he write this for her? 6052. One of These Days-Pink Floyd 1971 From back in their more progressive days. Not much to this song vocally though. 6051. She Was Hot-Rolling Stones 1984 Remember this video where the Stones were trying to look like a pre-rock combo, complete with Bill Wyman playing an upright bass? Not their best! 6050. Your Little Secret-Melissa Etheridge 1995 This was the last new song by Melissa I remember hearing on the radio. They seem to have dropped her since then. 6049. My Share of the Sidewalk-Monkees 1969/88 Yes, Links again. Lots of horns on this Davy track. Corny, Broadway sounding song. 6048. My My Hey Hey-Neil Young 1979 This is the slow, acoustic version, not the rockin', grungy version (which is actually the title in reverse). I don't like this era as much from him. 6047. One Hit (to the Body)-Rolling Stones 1986 This video got some play. They were just bidding time at this point. 6046. One-U2 1991 Never saw the big deal with this song. Slow and boring. 6045. Hats Off to (Roy Harper)-Led Zeppelin 1970 Very bizarre song off an album I otherwise love, Led Zeppeling III. 6044. The Entertainer-Billy Joel 1974/75 I think you all know by now I'm not big on Billy Joel. I actually seem to favor the early 80's stuff more. 6043. Everybody Wants to Rule the World-Tears For Fears 1985 This one is ok to hear every now and then, but nothing I'd put on myself. 6042. Flash-Queen 1981 I don't know why, but my buddies and I used to make fun of this movie theme. 6041. Desperado-Eagles 1973 I'll probably get blasted for this. I never thought much of it. Honestly though, if I were doing a thourough re-evaluation, it would probably be higher. Let's hear it.

6060 - It was ok but I prefer The Other Woman. 6059 - Don't know it 6058 - ditto 6057 - I've been listening to it more and more in recent years and have really got into it. 6056 - I guess they all had a similiar sound but Chynna is just so darn cute! 6055 - That was the Morcambe and Wise Show. I really like the video clip. 6054 - I still really miss Stevie - among his very best. 6053 - Not that great. 6052 - My classic rock loves to play this. It just goes a bit too long for me. 6051 - Probably the weakest IMO of their 80's tunes. The video recieved quite a bit of play. 6050 - My classic station plays a few , but I don't recall this. 6049- I had a listen to it - you are correct ! 6048 - like both very much. 6047 - Yup we were pretty close to losing them at this point. Better than She was Hot 6046 - It's ok 6045 - I remember reading that the critics really gave this album some harsh reviews when it came out. I like the slide guitar on this. 6044 - I don't recall this at the moment 6043 - I still enjoy listening to this very much 6042 - I remember seeing the movie back then.I'mafan, but it was by far not one of their best , they had way better material. I remember seeing the album in the cut out bins. 6041 - I still like it.

6060. Bad Boy-Ray Parker Jr. 1982/83 Don't remember this.
6059. Winner Takes it All-Sammy Hagar 1987 I remember seeing the lyrics printed in Hit Parader back in the day.. I never heard the song, though. I've never been much of a Hagar fan, though I did like a couple of songs on VOA.
6058. Touch and Go-The Storm 1991 Don't know it.
6057. Yer Blues-Beatles 1968 I like this one at times..
6056. Impulsive-Wilson Phillips 1990 Don't remember it, though I guess I probably should..
6055. Moonlight Bay-Beatles 1963/90 Another early Anthology track I need to pay more attention to.
6054. The House is Rocking-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989 Don't know it.
6053. Rosemarie-Monkees 1968/88 I like this one, I don't know why, I always liked hearing Micky's voice, there's just something so familiar about it..
6052. One of These Days-Pink Floyd 1971 I LOVE this!! When I'm having a bad day, I get in my car and crank this one! One of my fave Floyd tunes!
6051. She Was Hot-Rolling Stones 1984 "She had it in the blood" was all I remember. Interesting how she went from being "So Cold" in '80, to "Hot" in '84!
6050. Your Little Secret-Melissa Etheridge 1995 Was this first, or "I Want to Come Over"? I know they were from the same album. Believe it or not, I like both.
6049. My Share of the Sidewalk-Monkees 1969/88 Another Links track I'm not registering in my brain right now..
6048. My My Hey Hey-Neil Young 1979 eh...
6047. One Hit (to the Body)-Rolling Stones 1986 Jimmy Page plays on this. Not a terrible tune, better than Harlem Shuffle. But that Dirty Work album... YEEESH!
6046. One-U2 1991 Was never too crazy about Achtung.
6045. Hats Off to (Roy Harper)-Led Zeppelin 1970 Strange isn't the word.. Imagine Porky pig singing this (Gave my bb-bb-bb-bb-baby, a twenty-dollar bb-bb-bb-bb-bill)..
6044. The Entertainer-Billy Joel 1974/75 Know the title, not the song.
6043. Everybody Wants to Rule the World-Tears For Fears 1985 Loved it sinde the first time I heard it in '85!
6042. Flash-Queen 1981 Not a well-remembered Queen track (not a well-remembered album, either)
6041. Desperado-Eagles 1973 My brother had the GH album, and he used to skip this, so you're not alone. I never really thought much of it either. It only lives on in a Seinfeld episode with me..
Now back to schoolwork...

I only know two songs today:
6043. This is a great song. I really wish I knew what happened to Tears For Fears. I'd love to hear from them again.
6041. Being a "youngster", I'm more familiar with the Clint Black version, and quite frankly, I like that one better.

6060. Bad Boy-Ray Parker Jr. 1982/83 Great tune that originally appeared on his first greatest hits (I have the cassette; long out of print). "Now I want to come back home---I'll take out the trash!!!"
6059. Winner Takes it All-Sammy Hagar 1987 2nd great 80's tune! Much better than Kenny Loggins' "Meet me half way".
6058. Touch and Go-The Storm 1991 Sorry people! I don't know this specific Storm tune, but I don't believe I've seen their two best-known yet (if you can call them that...).
6057. Yer Blues-Beatles 1968 Some tunes from that White Album weren't too great, and this is one.
6056. Impulsive-Wilson Phillips 1990 This tune had more edge (especially the single version) than most of their others. Joe Walsh cooks on it!
6055. Moonlight Bay-Beatles 1963/90 One of my fave Anthology tunes! Twist and shout LOL!!!
6054. The House is Rocking-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989 Pretty cool.
6053. Rosemarie-Monkees 1968/88 I only remember Rose Marie on the Hollywood Squares... ;D
6052. One of These Days-Pink Floyd 1971 I LOVE this! Much the same feeling as Pete on it. Often used as backing music for traffic reports, ski slope reports, etc.
6051. She Was Hot-Rolling Stones 1984 At first, I was surprised this didn't hit top 40, but no wonder I've hardly heard it since 1984. Looking back on it, it sounded quite cheesy.
6050. Your Little Secret-Melissa Etheridge 1995 Next...
6049. My Share of the Sidewalk-Monkees 1969/88 Corny Broadway? I'll just have to listen sometime! ;D
6048. My My Hey Hey-Neil Young 1979 Nope. Give me the reverse any day.
6047. One Hit (to the Body)-Rolling Stones 1986 One of the few cases where an 80's Stones top 40 hit immediately followed a top 10 tune of theirs. Maybe the best one of all! Great drum/acoustic guitar intro! But I would've preferred "Winning Ugly" as the follow-up to "Harlem Shuffle".
6046. One-U2 1991 Same comment as you, Sat.
6045. Hats Off to (Roy Harper)-Led Zeppelin 1970 Still have yet to own the 3rd album, and I never played this one.
6044. The Entertainer-Billy Joel 1974/75 Came less than a year after Marvin Hamlisch's top 3 ragtime instrumental of the same name. To me, not really one of his best early ones.
6043. Everybody Wants to Rule the World-Tears For Fears 1985 Never could see the point, but not too bad. The 2 follow-ups were much better.
6042. Flash-Queen 1981 This made their VERY first "Greatest Hits" in 1981, and I don't think it's on any CD compilation of Queen's! (Maybe some import...)
6041. Desperado-Eagles 1973 Always wished Weird Al did a parody called "Avocado". Nice tune, but don't play it much.

Bad Boy--Don't remember it.
Winner Takes it All--Don't know it.
Touch and Go--The Storm must have passed over my house. ;D
Yer Blues--Eh.
Impulsive--Like this one a lot. Good harmonies.
Moonlight Bay--Not familiar.
The House is Rocking--Not a big Stevie fan, but I do enjoy this song occasionally.
Rosemarie--Don't know it.
One of These Days--Doesn't sound familiar.
She Was Hot--She may have been hot, but this song was just dumb.
Your Little Secret--Hey, a Melissa song! 'Course I like it, but it's not one of my faves by her. She does a smokin' version of this in concert, though.
My Share of the Sidewalk--No clue.
My My Hey Hey--Like the other one better.
One Hit to the Body--Eek!
One--Gag!
Hats off to Roy Harper--Never heard it. Doesn't sound like I missed much.
The Entertainer--I'm sure I'd know this if I heard it, but it's just not coming to me right now.
Everybody Wants to Rule the World--Not a Tears for Fears fan. Never liked this song.
Flash--Kind of an annoying song.
Desperado--Like it. The Carpenters also had a version of this which I really like.

Bad Boy - Except for Ghostbusters, didn't like much of what Roy Parker Jr. did
Winner Takes it All - This wouldn't be a cover of the Abba song by the same name would it?
Touch & Go - Don't know it.
Yer Blue - I kind of like this song.
6055 & 6056 - Don't know them
House is Rockin' - I like Stevie Ray, good song
Rosemarie - Don't know it
One of These Days - Song is okay, just like the later stuff better
She Was Hot - Really not one of their better songs.
6046 -- 6050 - Don't know
Entertainer - Not a favorite
Hats Off - Okay song, nothing special
Everybody Wants to Rule the World - I like this song.
Flash - One of my least favorite Queen songs
Desparado - Of all the artists I've heard do this song, the Eagles & Waylon Jennings do the best job on it.

(Maybe some import...) 6041. Desperado-Eagles 1973 Always wished Weird Al did a parody called "Avocado". Nice tune, but don't play it much. 6060. And he offered to do the dishes!! 6058. Of course you haven't-because they are their best tunes! 6045. You need to own this album!!

Bad Boy--Don't remember it. Winner Takes it All--Don't know it. Touch and Go--The Storm must have passed over my house. ;D Yer Blues--Eh. Wow, quite a few you don't know!
