5915. Don't believe I know this one. I always liked his softer songs best. 5908. Quite frankly, if I were Cyndi Lauper, I'd be saying all the time, "Well I beat Madonna for Best New Female in 1984." And if I were Madonna I wouldn't be laughing. So maybe Cyndi's not huge anymore. At least she's got class...and a brain. 5908. You really like those New Yawk gals, don'tcha?

5914. Bridge of Sighs-Robin Trower 1974 This is the only song I know by him. It's good. 5913. 26 Miles (Santa Cantalina)-Four Preps 1958 Something tells me I might like this. 5914. I should have read ahead instead of asking you on the last post! 5913. Maybe because Four Preps sounds similar to Four Freshman?

5906. Fooled Again (I Don't Like it)-Tom Petty 1977 Just heard this for the first time earlier this year. A good one from him. Really? Where'd you hear it?

5912. Could I Have This Dance-Anne Murray 1980 Are you dissin' Anne? This is my favorite of her songs. 5903. Endless Love-Diana Ross & Lionel Richie 1981 You gotta love the schmaltz! A lovely duet 5912. No, she's cool! 5903. No I don't!!

5913. 26 Miles (Santa Cantalina)-Four Preps 1958 H2 barely likes it. It's a little to folky for me. I liked their other big hit, Big Man, better. LOL-referring to yourself in the 3rd person-you must be a big star!

5903. Endless Love-Diana Ross & Lionel Richie 1981 Still great after all these years. But never an all-time top 100 of mine, like in all those Billboard all-time lists. The 1994 version by two different people was even better. ;D YIKES!!

5906. Fooled Again (I Don't Like it)-Tom Petty 1977 Just heard this for the first time earlier this year. A good one from him. Really? Where'd you hear it? I heard it on the Classic Rock channel on Dish Network. They have a pretty good selection of hits on there, but not quite as good as Music Choice's Classic Rock channel.

Duke of Earl--Not bad. I find myself singing along to this one when I hear it.
You'll See--I think I remember liking this one.
Uptown Girl--I was kinda sick of Billy Joel by this point.
Real Live Woman--Love the lyrics to this. Trisha sings it very well, too.
Book of Love--Another one I sing along to when I hear it.
You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This--Don't think I ever heard it.
Bridge of Sighs--Not a clue.
26 Miles--Don't know it.
Could I Have This Dance--I like this one.
I'm On Fire--A favorite from Bruce.
Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On--Kinda tired of it.
Sweet Little Sixteen--There are other Chuck Berry songs that I like better.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun--Like this one a lot. Also like the reggae version that's on "Seven Deadly Cyns".
I'm In You--Hate it.
Fooled Again--Never heard of it.
Livin' On a Prayer--Liked it back in the day. But I've heard it enough.
Jesus He Knows Me--What a lame song.
Endless Love--Hate the song, hate the movie.
Angry All the Time--Don't know it.
What Is Love--This is ok. I actually don't mind Howard Jones.

But ain'tcha a suthern gal? And you like them Yankees? Yes sir! And back to your original post...who did get the last laugh? Have you heard anything by Cyndi Lauper other than stuff from "She's So Unusual"? I have, and she gets the last laugh after all, because she can SANG like you wouldn't believe. You just can't tell it on those novelty tracks of hers from the mid-'80s.
