Some more for ya.... 5880. Rock This Town-Stray Cats 1982 Have the 45. Really loved it lots then, but it's just worn thin on me. 5879. Something Happened on the Way to Heaven-Phil Collins 1990 Phil was in the middle of making hum-drum music that didn't do much for me anymore. 5878. Little By Little-Robert Plant 1985 Principle of Moments was such a great album, and then this was such a weak follow up. Which made 88's Now and Zen such a great comeback! 5877. Vienna Calling-Falco 1986 Falco was just a novelty act to me. Didn't think much of this. 5876. Do Right Woman-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 (New addition) I didn't get as into the Burritos as I thought I would, but they do have good songs. Sort of an updated Everly Brothers sound. This is a decent ballad. 5875. Ain't Too Proud to Beg-Rolling Stones 1974 This was certainly better than their other Tempts cover. But I got sick of hearing it on classic rock radio. 5874. Tearing Us Apart-Eric Clapton 1987 Tina Turner helps out on vocals on this one. Not too bad, but there was so much better on August. 5873. She Bop-Cyndi Lauper 1984 Probably the first song by a female about....um.....you know. At least first commercial song (since I am sure there was probably some punk song about it before). 5872. Freedom Overspill-Steve Winwood 1986 Steve's 2 late 80's albums had 5 tracks each that had all sorts of classic rock play. Got sick of this one. 5871. Still Loving You-Scorpions 1984 Their torch, their "lighter" song. Never big on the Scorps though. 5870. The Jerk-Larks 1964/65 Contrary to popular belief, this song is NOT about me! My uncle does a MEAN version of this dance, and if I am brave enough, I may post a pic of me imitating him on here! 5869. Sin City-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 (New addition) NOT the AC/DC tune. This is very mellow. Nice song. 5868. Slowhand-Pointer Sisters 1981 NOT a Clapton tribute. I liked this pretty well back then, but I don't think much of the Sisters now. 5867. Love is Like Oxygen-Sweet 1978 Like the Frampton songs, this was a bit of a disappointment when I finally heard it. I do have a cool video clip on tape of them doing it though. 5866. Do the Freddie-Freddie & the Dreamers 1965 Robert Plant always makes fun of Hermin's Hermits, but to me, these guys were the scourage of the Invasion. What an idiot Freddie was. 5865. Saturday Night-Bay City Rollers 1975/76 No, I do NOT remember this from back then. First heard this on a 70's CD commercial. 5864. Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere-Monkees 1986 Another new cut from the Then and Now album. Pleasant enough, but nothing spectacular. 5863. Runaround Sue-Dion 1961 This really is a good song, just overplayed at this point. 5862. The Last Worthless Evening-Don Henley 1989 Again, liked this single at first, but got SO tired of hearing it. 5861. Another Piece of Meat-Scorpions 1979 This guy I know had bought a tape and listened to this because he liked the title. Then he recommended it to me. Eh. Go for it.

5880 - I have this on 45 , LP and disc so I must like it! a definite high point of the 80's. 5879 - I didn't mind this at all - adding it to a mix tape I made at the time. 5878 - I thought the title was familiar - I remember hearing this on the radio back then - not a bad tune - is that Phil Collins playing drums Adam? 5877 - Never cared for it at all. 5876 - A very decent tune - great stuff:) 5875 - One of the Stones 45's we had in the house when I was growing up - It's now part of my collection I also really liked the flipside - Dance Little Sister. 5874 - I remember shopping at a music store around '88 and they were clearing out a bunch of 45's I bought this along with John Lennon's Happy Xmas (unfortunately not on Green vinyl) ,Honeymoon Suite (a Canadian band) , George Harrison's This is Love and David Lee Roth's Just Like Paradise. 5873 - I remember the news about the subject matter - thought it was a good tune a buddy bought the single. 5872 - Still like it. 5871 - I burned this onto a compilation CD awhile back - the last Scorps tune I know. 5870 - LOL would love to see the pic ! - I've heard it a few times. 5869 - Another fave from the Burritos 5868 - Thought it was ok. 5867 - Woo Hoo!!! long live The Sweet - LOVE it! 5866 - Yeah he was a bit of a goof but I thought the song was alright. 5865 - We had the 45 in the house and a buddy at the time had the album - You know they really weren't that bad - they had a few really good catchy tunes - kind of guilty pleasures for me I guess. 5864 - Also on the "Listen To" box if my memory is correct. OK 5863 - Still Love it. 5862 - Ditto 5861 - Not familiar

5880. Rock This Town-Stray Cats 1982 Very different from the other songs of that era. I like it.
5879. Something Happened on the Way to Heaven-Phil Collins 1990 I'm kinda undecided about this one. It seems to build up at the beginning, but then falls a little flat.
5878. Little By Little-Robert Plant 1985 Not quite as good as 'Big Log', but not bad.
5877. Vienna Calling-Falco 1986 I wasn't too fond of this when it was popular, but it's starting to grow on me.
5876. Do Right Woman-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 (New addition) I haven't heard much Burrito Brothers material - I should investigate sometime.
5875. Ain't Too Proud to Beg-Rolling Stones 1974 A good one from them.
5874. Tearing Us Apart-Eric Clapton 1987 Not one of my favorite Clapton songs.
5873. She Bop-Cyndi Lauper 1984 Catchy song, not her best though.
5872. Freedom Overspill-Steve Winwood 1986 Probably my favorite of his mid-late 80s songs.
5871. Still Loving You-Scorpions 1984 Good, but I prefer the rockers, such as 'Rock You Like a Hurricane'.
5870. The Jerk-Larks 1964/65 Is that the photo from the Halloween party? Good song - don't hear this much on oldies radio.
5869. Sin City-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 (New addition) Don't know it, but would like to check it out.
5868. Slowhand-Pointer Sisters 1981 One of their best songs.
5867. Love is Like Oxygen-Sweet 1978 Love it. It brings back lots of memories of early summer 1978.
5866. Do the Freddie-Freddie & the Dreamers 1965 I kind of like this at times, but it isn't one of the better British Invasion songs.
5865. Saturday Night-Bay City Rollers 1975/76 Roller-skating memories. I've always loved this.
5864. Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere-Monkees 1986 I need to get that album out and have a listen - can't place this one.
5863. Runaround Sue-Dion 1961 Good, but a bit overplayed, I agree.
5862. The Last Worthless Evening-Don Henley 1989 Never really liked this - I'm not too fond of his later material.
5861. Another Piece of Meat-Scorpions 1979 I've never heard this one.

5880. Fun song, but it gets old pretty fast.
5879. Haven't heard this one.
5878. Don't know it.
5877. Falco? Edie Falco? No? LOL, I don't know this song.
5876. Not bad.
5875. I don't even want to think about this one...
5874. I like this one, but it just doesn't seem like Clapton to me for some reason.
5873. I still can't BELIEVE that's what this song is about. How grotesque!
5872 - 5869. ??
5868. This is the Conway Twitty song, right? I like both versions pretty good.
5867. Don't know it.
5866. Sounds really lame.
5865. Good song.
5864. Don't know it.
5863. I've always really liked this song. Love the "whoa-oh" stuff too.
5862. Never heard it.
5861. Just the title makes me think that I would absolutely hate this song.

5880. Rock This Town-Stray Cats 1982 I enjoy most retro-50s songs, and this one is no exception. My fave by this group.
5879. Something Happened on the Way to Heaven-Phil Collins 1990 Don't know it
5878. Little By Little-Robert Plant 1985 Barely remember it. It was OK, I guess.
5877. Vienna Calling-Falco 1986 I coudn't even tolerate Rock Me Amadeus. I only heard this one once or twice and didn;t like it either.
5876. Do Right Woman-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 Heard of the group but not the song. By your description, I may want to look into it, seeing how much I like The Everlys.
5875. Ain't Too Proud to Beg-Rolling Stones 1974 Don't think I know their version. Doesn't sound like something I'd be interested in, though.
5874. Tearing Us Apart-Eric Clapton 1987 Don't know it.
5873. She Bop-Cyndi Lauper 1984 My co-fave by her. Good song.
5872. Freedom Overspill-Steve Winwood 1986 Not bad
5871. Still Loving You-Scorpions 1984 Don't know it.
5870. The Jerk-Larks 1964/65 I always get this and "Cool Jerk" by the Capitols mixed up. The only thing I can tell you is I don;t like either song.
5869. Sin City-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 Don't know it.
5868. Slowhand-Pointer Sisters 1981 I'm not a big Pointers fan. This is so-so
5867. Love is Like Oxygen-Sweet 1978 Always liked The Sweet, and just about everything I've heard them do. This one is good.
5866. Do the Freddie-Freddie & the Dreamers 1965 The thing is, that Freddie was a put-on. He did his whole act including the silly dance as a joke. But then he laughed all the way to the bank. He had quite a good, clear voice, I always thought, and I used to enjoy his songs. - They bring back a lot of memories.
5865. Saturday Night-Bay City Rollers 1975/76 Very catchy song. Definitely should have come out 15 years earlier.
5864. Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere-Monkees 1986 Don't know it.
5863. Runaround Sue-Dion 1961 This is a classic. Great memories from early in my Freshman year in college. The only problem was that after this, Dion recorded about 350 more songs that sounded just like this one.
5862. The Last Worthless Evening-Don Henley 1989 I should know this, but I don't.
5861. Another Piece of Meat-Scorpions 1979 Don't know it.

Most likely. Plant was using both Phil and Tull's Barrimore Barlow at the time. 5875. That was the flip? Cool! That used to get lots of classic rock play around here. 5874. I never realized that was a single! 5870. Ah, well.....it burned in a fire!

5876. Do Right Woman-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 Heard of the group but not the song. By your description, I may want to look into it, seeing how much I like The Everlys. They really do sound like them. You'd want to listen to "Christine's Tune (aka Devil in Disguise)" first. That really has the sound. You also need to take into account this was the late 60's-early 70's, so the sound is a bit more updated.

5880. Rock This Town-Stray Cats 1982 Hasn't gotten old with me. A party classic. 5879. Something Happened on the Way to Heaven-Phil Collins 1990 Man, did top 40 EAT THIS UP. That's because Phil was like, the one. Maybe the one in 1985-1987, but not 1990. This tune hasn't aged ONE BIT. 5878. Little By Little-Robert Plant 1985 Love this. Have the 45. Shaken 'n Stirred was his most underrated album IMO. 5877. Vienna Calling-Falco 1986 Novelty, indeed! LOVED Amadeus (Canadian mix) SOOOOO much, that this was a personal #1 fave of mine as well. Oddly, I hardly play them today. 5876. Do Right Woman-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 (New addition) Could look this group up. Meantime, I like to EAT burritos! ;D 5875. Ain't Too Proud to Beg-Rolling Stones 1974 Better than the Tempts' original. 5874. Tearing Us Apart-Eric Clapton 1987 Pretty great song from a great album. 5873. She Bop-Cyndi Lauper 1984 Never knew "that thing" about it when popular. All I can recall was Cyndi was big, I loved the song for its feel, and the video had some motorcycling in it. Man, without the single mix, the tune's just...BLAH! 5872. Freedom Overspill-Steve Winwood 1986 Burning up on midnight oil! Awesome slide from Joe Walsh. 5871. Still Loving You-Scorpions 1984 This tune got me starting to dislike their ballads. Never cared for their two ballads from "Crazy World", either. 5870. The Jerk-Larks 1964/65 And this is NOT the "Cool Jerk" song that oldies radio plays MUCH more! This was a cool, soulful groove with Impressions-like singing. I actually prefer this to the Capitols--this song must have REALLY packed dancefloors back then! 5869. Sin City-Flying Burrito Brothers 1969 (New addition) All I know is "Sin City" is a nickname for Las Vegas... 5868. Slowhand-Pointer Sisters 1981 Great camp '81 memories. Huge back in that summer, remakes don't compare. 5867. Love is Like Oxygen-Sweet 1978 Man, after 25 years, I still LOVE this! But I have yet to own the long version... 5866. Do the Freddie-Freddie & the Dreamers 1965 Yeah, Freddie just did crazy antics for primarily female fans as a gimmick. But this is one guilty pleasure! 5865. Saturday Night-Bay City Rollers 1975/76 I'm quite amazed how many 30-somethings DON'T know this. Several of my past co-workers (one born in 1967) who were big into 70's music (more album rock) didn't remember it; I was like--Amazing, wow! Yet, I don't remember this a whole lot from radio. More knew it from two older siblings who really got into their music. Hope to convert their Hits album to CD soon... 5864. Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere-Monkees 1986 I have the album. This one's ok. 5863. Runaround Sue-Dion 1961 I know that "overplayed feeling". This is falling from grace for me--once in my top 200; I doubt it's still in my top 500. 5862. The Last Worthless Evening-Don Henley 1989 Yuck. Pretty much sick of the whole album. 5861. Another Piece of Meat-Scorpions 1979 I don't think I played this particular one in college--the title is familiar...
