5836. Rock-n-Roll High School-Ramones 1981 One of their many good ones. My album info book says 1979, BTW. 5826. You Keep Me Waiting-The Storm 1991 Hmm...I don't remember seeing their two biggest, yet? 5821. Life Itself-George Harrison 1987 I thought this was 1981? Good song. 5836. Doesn't surprise me I had the year wrong! LOL! 5826. Of course not, those are the best! LOL! 5821. It was. Another screw up by me.

Rusty Cage - Haven't really listened to a lot of Soundgarden's music. Don't know this one, but I'm going to check them out. Lounge Fly - I've only heard a few Stone Temple Pilot songs. Another group I'm going to check out. Maybe their GH disc when it comes out. Rusty Cage-this is a decent rocker, but you should check out their later, psychedelic stuff. BTW, Johnny Cash covered this song! Longe Fly-well the GH is out now, but this was just an album track, so it's not on it. All the necessary stuff is though.

5829. The Way You Do the Things You Do-Temptations 1964 Some of the rhymes are a little bit of a stretch (schoolbook/ cool crook??? - give me a break) but I do like the song as a whole. I never noticed that line! LOL!

5840. All Out of Love-Air Supply 1980 I just like the way the tall blonde guy sings the second (?) verse in that thick Australian accent. Doesn't seem to fit this type of song. 5840. You do or do NOT like it? I like the blonde guys singing on Lost in Love. Actually better than the other dude's.

You're right - I must have missed that the first time! I actually had his album from 1981, Somewhere in England, and for some reason I traded it off for something else. I regret that a lot now, especially since so much of his Dark Horse material is out of print. Bad trade!! LOL!

[glow=red,2,300]5837. Unchained Melody-Righteous Brothers 1965/90 I like this song, but I think it makes a really bad wedding song. I agree!

5840. All Out of Love-Air Supply 1980 C'mon - we all know you're a closet Air Supply fan! This is a good song. 5826. You Keep Me Waiting-The Storm 1991 You keep bringing these guys up. Why have I never heard of them? 5840. YIKES! NO! 5826. Only their management, their families, and I have heard of them! LOL! They were so small time....only 1 album, and it was released at the height of grunge, and they were making arena rock. Went largely unnoticed.

Will I EVER catch up?! 5840. All Out of Love-Air Supply 1980 My favorite from them. What's his face's voice at the end with that glory note is spectacular. 5839. Just Once-James Ingram 1981 I like his duets better than his solo stuff. 5838. Fire-Crazy World of Arthur Brown 1968 Never hear this anymore 5837. Unchained Melody-Righteous Brothers 1965/90 A timeless classic. The original is so beautiful but there are quite a few covers of it that I like too. Especially Cyndi Lauper's version from her latest album. 5836. Rock-n-Roll High School-Ramones 1981 Their commercial hit 5835. We'll Be Together-Sting 1987 This is a great solo track from him. I like when his stuff is R&B tinged like this 5834. La Isla Bonita-Madonna 1987 A lovely ballad from the Material Girl 5833. Rusty Cage-Soundgarden 1992 Ever heard Johnny Cash's version? Brilliant! As always, Chris Cornell's voice is pure gold on this track. 5832. Shades of Grey-Monkees 1967 Don't know it 5831. California Girls-David Lee Roth 1985 Hate this. 5830. Keeping the Faith-Billy Joel 1985 Not a favorite of mine but OK 5829. The Way You Do the Things You Do-Temptations 1964 Possibly their most famous, but it's overplayed 5828. Straight Up-Paula Abdul 1988/89 (Previous ranking 3803) A like this first hit from her 5827. Come As You Are-Nirvana 1992 I like other tunes from them better 5826. You Keep Me Waiting-The Storm 1991 Is this the last from them on this list? Please?!!! 5825. I Owe it All to You-Paul McCartney 1993 5824. Sweet Caroline-Neil Diamond 1969 A classic that everyone from my grandma to my 5 year old cousin knows. 5823. Every Step of the Way-Monkees 1987 Huh? 5822. Lounge Fly-Stone Temple Pilots 1994 I like this track, but I haven't listened to it in like 7 years. 5821. Life Itself-George Harrison 1987 Not familiar

All Out of Love--Air Supply, Air Supply, Air Supply. Aintcha out of "Air" yet? ;D
Just Once--Always thought this was a pretty song.
Fire--Cool song! Never hear it anymore. I remember reading a bio of him in some magazine when I was a kid. There was this obscure picture of him--didn't even look like a human being, and the stats on him were really bizarre. Height: 8'2". Weight: 782 pounds. Hair color: Green with purple highlights. Eye color: Plaid. Stuff like that. It kinda freaked me out when I was an impressionable kid. LOL!
Unchained Melody--I've always liked it, but man, did it get overplayed during all the "Ghost" hoopla. So now I'm kinda tired of it.
Rock and Roll High School--Like it a lot! Good memories of, what else? High school.
We'll Be Together--Can't stand Sting, but this song is passable.
La Isla Bonita--The opening lyric, "Last night I dreamt of San Pedro"...a friend of mine had a daughter who was about 8 at the time. She used to sing "Last night I drank me some Faygo". Cracked me up. I probably told that story before, but it's still funny to me. And worth hearing again, don'tcha think? LOL!
Rusty Cage--Don't know it.
Shades of Grey--Gee, another Monkees song I don't know. Hard to believe.
California Girls--Not bad.
Keeping the Faith--Probably my favorite Billy song from this era.
The Way You Do the Things You Do--Catchy, fun song. I like it.
Straight Up--Not bad, considering it's Paula.
Come As You Are--It's ok. I was never into Nirvana much.
You Keep Me Waiting--Don't know it.
I Owe It All To You--Nope. Don't know it.
Sweet Caroline--Not bad for what it is. Lite and fluffy.
Every Step of the Way--More Monkees I don't know.
Lounge Fly--Don't care for STP.
Life Itself--Don't know it.
