Here's another day, hope you are enjoying these still!! If I Wanted to-Melissa Etheridge 1995 Happy Kathy? This isn't bad, but nowhere near the cuts on her first album. If You See Him, If You See Her-Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn 1998 (new addition) Happy Lora? I think this ended up on both of their albums, but with reverse titles. Not bad, just too slow. Poor House-Traveling Wilburys 1988 Happy Wilbury fans? This is almost a rockabilly number, but is just a tad annoying after awhile. Don't Lose My Number-Phil Collins 1985 One of those cases where I liked the singles, bought the album, and the singles were my least fave on the album! Overplayed. Give Me the Night-George Benson 1980 Sort of a jazzy-rock-blues guitarist. Not awful. New Song-Howard Jones 1984 When he sings, "Don't crack up, bend your brain", I thought he was saying BANJO brain! When You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 Journey's comeback CD. Unfortunately, they chose to pick up where Faithfully left off, not where Anyway You Want it left off. Can’t Keep a Good Man Down-Alabama 1985 (new addition) Overall, I like Alabama. Almost lighter southern rock at times. Sleeping Bag-ZZ Top 1985 Just not a big fan of MTV-era ZZ Top. Walls-Yes 1994 Another one from the non-Roger Dean album. I have them on tape doing this on Letterman. My Happiness-Elvis 1953 (new addition) H2 will like seeing this. First song the King ever recorded. Legendary, but not that great of a song. Feeling Alright-Joe Cocker 1969 A classic rock staple, and thus overplayed. Signed, Sealed, Delivered-Stevie Wonder 1970 An overplayed oldie, I actually prefer Frampton's version. Bread and Butter-Newbeats 1964 Another one that seems to have been forgotten as oldies ready plays more current stuff. Modern Day Delilah- Van Stephenson 1984 I remember my buddy's mother asking me about Delilah from the Bible so she could figure out the meaning! How come this doesn't pop up on many 80's collections? Big Money-Rush 1985 SUCH an annoying song! Every line begins, "Big money...." I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide-ZZ Top 1979 (previous ranking 4446) This gets some play on the rock station here. Too bluesy for me. Blue Moon-Elvis 1954 (new addition) Happy H2? This was done a billion times back then, and I couldn't leave out Elvis' version off Sun. I Forgot to Remember to Forget-Elvis 1955 (new addition) Great title, but the song is slower than I thought it would be. Woo-Hoo-Rock-a-Teens 1959 Look at all those hyphens! This will be the stumper on here! I'll be impressed by whoever knows this! (Most likely Dave and H2) Let's hear it people!!!

If I Wanted to-Melissa Etheridge 1995 I don't think I've heard this one.
If You See Him, If You See Her-Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn 1998 (new addition) Not familiar with this.
Poor House-Traveling Wilburys 1988 A great band, but this wasn't their best.
Don't Lose My Number-Phil Collins 1985 I liked this a lot when it was current, and still do, but I agree it has been overplayed.
Give Me the Night-George Benson 1980 This is a HUGE favorite of mine! Love it!
New Song-Howard Jones 1984 This is one I don't remember hearing much back in the day. Catchy, but there are others of his I like more.
When You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 I've never cared for this at all - it has a tired quality to it.
Can’t Keep a Good Man Down-Alabama 1985 (new addition) A good one from one of my favorite country groups.
Sleeping Bag-ZZ Top 1985 My favorite ZZ Top song. Lots of memories of my senior year.
Walls-Yes 1994 I don't know this one.
My Happiness-Elvis 1953 (new addition) Is this the same song that Connie Francis later recorded? I'm not familiar with it.
Feeling Alright-Joe Cocker 1969 One of my Joe faves, but it's starting to wear a bit thin.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered-Stevie Wonder 1970 A good one from Stevie.
Bread and Butter-Newbeats 1964 Catchy, but the vocals are a little shrill at times.
Modern Day Delilah- Van Stephenson 1984 Definitely a lost 80s classic! I have the 45.
Big Money-Rush 1985 This is one I should know, but I'm drawing a blank. All those "big moneys" would be annoying, I agree.
I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide-ZZ Top 1979 (previous ranking 4446) I've only heard this a few times, and it's never really appealed to me much.
Blue Moon-Elvis 1954 (new addition) I like the Marcels' version, but can't say I've ever heard Elvis'.
I Forgot to Remember to Forget-Elvis 1955 (new addition) Don't know it.
Woo-Hoo-Rock-a-Teens 1959 I'm vaguely familiar with this, but mostly by title.

If I Wanted To - I'm not that familiar with alot of her music - don't know it. If You See Him / If You See Her - It pretty good from what I remember - I think I only heard it maybe twice? Poor House - It's ok but there were alot better tunes from the album. Don't Lose My Number - Couldn't agree more about it being overplayed but I still like to listen to it every now and then.I borrowed the CD from a buddy and recorded it back around '85 . Give Me The Night - What happened to George? I thought it was kind of a cool song. New Song - I don't remember this - the only tune I ever really heard was No One is To Blame. When You Love a Woman - Thought it was a nice tune but like you Adam I would have loved for them to rock it up just a bit. Can't Keep a Good Man Down - I like it - oh yeah! Sleeping Bag - I bought the 45 back in' 85 and I have the tape as well - I like it but preffered the Eliminator album more. Walls - Don't know it. My Happiness - A piece of history , no doubt since it was his first recorded output. Feeling Alright - A big fave of Joe's ( and Traffic Signed , Sealed. . . - Love both Stevie's and Pete's versions. Bread and Butter - It really use to irritate me as a kid -LOL but I've warmed to it a little. Modern Day Delilah -I found out awhile back that I have the song and didn't even realize it Yikes! I just have too much LOL I have it included on an MCA Sampler LP. Big Money - They had wayyyyyy better. I'm Bad , I'm Nationwide - A big fave - my local Classic Rock station for the longest time played ZZ Top daily. Blue Moon and I Forgot to Remember To Forget - Love 'Em Woo Hoo - First heard this in The 80's! I have a copy on 45

Interesting mixed bag today, Sat. If I Wanted to-Melissa Etheridge 1995 Don't know it. If You See Him, If You See Her-Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn 1998 (new addition) No clue. Poor House-Traveling Wilburys 1988 You sure this was 88? It's off Wilbury's 3 (After Roy died), and he died in Dec. 88. Heard it once or twice, but it left no impression. Don't Lose My Number-Phil Collins 1985 One of my favorite Phil Collins songs. - Which makes it a tad better than mediocre. Give Me the Night-George Benson 1980 I concur: Not awful. New Song-Howard Jones 1984 Don't recall it. When You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 I know very few '90s songs. This is not one of them. Can’t Keep a Good Man Down-Alabama 1985 (new addition) Again, No clue. Sleeping Bag-ZZ Top 1985 eh Walls-Yes 1994 Its the '90s My Happiness-Elvis 1953 (new addition) This is weird, I never heard or heard of this song. I thought his first song was Blue Moon of Kentucky. I have the Sun Sessions album, and I thought that included all his early stuff, but not this one. Feeling Alright-Joe Cocker 1969 OK, but not my fave by him. Signed, Sealed, Delivered-Stevie Wonder 1970 He did lots better Bread and Butter-Newbeats 1964 Four Seasons style without the Seasons' talent. Modern Day Delilah- Van Stephenson 1984 Don't know it. Big Money-Rush 1985 Don't know it. I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide-ZZ Top 1979 (previous ranking 4446) Don't know it. (I'm on a roll) Blue Moon-Elvis 1954 (new addition) Never cared for the Elvis version of this. He never sang the bridge, and just basically repeated one verse. I Forgot to Remember to Forget-Elvis 1955 (new addition) Country ballad - not bad, not that good either. Woo-Hoo-Rock-a-Teens 1959 Don't think I know it. I'm trying to locate it because I know most top 20 songs from back then, but there are a few that peaked in the teens like this one did, that never got played in Boston, and slipped by me. So it either got by me, or its one of those head-slapping songs. (Smack! Oh yeah. THAT song!) OK.. I found it and downloaded it. I'll be damned, but it IS a head smacking song. Sure I remember it. I just never knew the title. DJs used to play instrumentals like this one going into a news break, and even back then, they wouldn't announce the title. Anyway, it's a good song! Thanks for helping me remember it again.

If I Wanted to-Melissa Etheridge 1995 Pass
If You See Him, If You See Her-Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn 1998 (new addition) Never liked it.
Poor House-Traveling Wilburys 1988 My least fave on the debut album.
Don't Lose My Number-Phil Collins 1985 Not a huge fave, but good.
Give Me the Night-George Benson 1980 LOVE it. His best ever.
New Song-Howard Jones 1984 And I though it was "banjo BREAK!" Insane! Good one.
When You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 Not too bad.
Can’t Keep a Good Man Down-Alabama 1985 (new addition) Not bad.
Sleeping Bag-ZZ Top 1985 Could it have been their shying away from their blues roots, getting more into their synth phase? Man, what an album!!!
Walls-Yes 1994 Don't recall this, but I know Petty's "Walls".
My Happiness-Elvis 1953 (new addition) Connie Francis had a smash with it later, but this was originally a top 3 smash in 1948 for both the Pied Pipers and one of the all-time biggest one-hit wonders, namely Jon & Sondra Steele.
Feeling Alright-Joe Cocker 1969 Woo hoo! After The Letter, my 2nd fave!
Signed, Sealed, Delivered-Stevie Wonder 1970 I love both versions myself. My parents hate this.
Bread and Butter-Newbeats 1964 I think there's a compilation I'll get, and naturally, this is the only thing of theirs I have on CD STILL.
Modern Day Delilah- Van Stephenson 1984 It is on "Lost 45's" Volume 2, burned it on my own "Summer 1984" CD, and I have the 45 with pic sleeve as well. GREAT tune. RIP.
Big Money-Rush 1985 Quite good.
I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide-ZZ Top 1979 (previous ranking 4446) Love this always.
Blue Moon-Elvis 1954 (new addition) Great rendition.
I Forgot to Remember to Forget-Elvis 1955 (new addition) Nice one.
Woo-Hoo-Rock-a-Teens 1959 This actually won a first round battle in my Instrumentals tourney, but then it got shut out from "Walk don't run". Love it, even if those "Woo-hoo"'s can be somewhat nerve-grating. AWESOME drumming.

When You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 This was most shocking to me. I bought this in a single cassette. I have followed them since the 80's and having them coming back with this was really a dissapointment. I miss Steve with them. Journey without Steve's voice isn't Journey any more. Actually, Cathy, he was with them on this comeback. It was the following album they got the other singer. It's what keeps me from going to see them in concert.

If I Wanted to-Melissa Etheridge 1995 I don't know this one.
If You See Him, If You See Her-Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn 1998 - I love Reba but I tend to hate her duets.
Poor House-Traveling Wilburys 1988 - Not their best
Don't Lose My Number-Phil Collins 1985 Hate it.
Give Me the Night-George Benson 1980 - Love this. My favorite from Benson.
New Song-Howard Jones 1984 - I used to love this song when I was a teen. I haven't listened to it in years.
You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 Uggh...I think my dad wept in horror when he heard this the first time.
Can’t Keep a Good Man Down-Alabama 1985 - another one that I don't know at least by title
Sleeping Bag-ZZ Top 1985 - Nope
Walls-Yes 1994 - Don't know it
My Happiness-Elvis 1953 - Not that special for me but clearly a significant step for this artist.
Feeling Alright-Joe Cocker 1969 A classic rock staple that never gets old for me. I don't listen to classic rock radio so maybe that's why.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered-Stevie Wonder 1970 A little overused in movie soundtracks. I like Frampton's and Michael McDonald's versions too.
Bread and Butter-Newbeats 1964 Don't remember this one
Modern Day Delilah- Van Stephenson 1984 - My friend and I were just talking about this song last month. We used to love it. I had the 45.
Big Money-Rush 1985 Every song by this band is annoying, but you know how I hate them.
I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide-ZZ Top 1979 - I'm really not familiar with much ZZ Top at all.
Blue Moon-Elvis 1954 - His version is one of the best
I Forgot to Remember to Forget-Elvis 1955 - Not familiar
Woo-Hoo-Rock-a-Teens 1959 Too corny for me

If You See Him, If You See Her-Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn 1998 (new addition) Yeah, I agree. It is too slow.
Poor House-Traveling Wilburys 1988 Never heard this one.
Don't Lose My Number-Phil Collins 1985 Nor this one.
Give Me the Night-George Benson 1980 This one is okay...I'm not big on his stuff though.
New Song-Howard Jones 1984 Never heard this one.
When You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 Not really big on this song.
Can’t Keep a Good Man Down-Alabama 1985 (new addition) Nor this one.
Sleeping Bag-ZZ Top 1985 Never heard this one.

My Happiness-Elvis 1953 (new addition) Nor this one.

Big Money-Rush 1985 I'm not too big on this one either. I think I have only heard it once and that was enough.

Don't Lose My Number-Phil Collins 1985 This was a song that I always loved, because I was so sick of Phil Collins ballads, it was nice to hear an uptempo song from him for a change! Sussudio was good, too.
Give Me the Night-George Benson 1980 I LOVED this in 1980, and love it even more now!
New Song-Howard Jones 1984 "Banjo Brain", I like that.... Good tune, great album!
When You Love a Woman-Journey 1996 It was nice to see them come back, but their sound hadn't changed a BIT since 1983.
Sleeping Bag-ZZ Top 1985 Not bad, I like their 80's stuff, but I agree, I like them better in the 70's.
Feeling Alright-Joe Cocker 1969 EVERYBODY did this song. I have versions by Joe Cocker, Three Dog Night, Grand Funk, Rare Earth, and The 5th Dimension. And I'm sure there are more. Dave Mason must have made a TON of money from this song!
Signed, Sealed, Delivered-Stevie Wonder 1970 Stevie could do no wrong.
Bread and Butter-Newbeats 1964 I don't like this one. Or this group for that matter. On the same wavelength as "The Wonder Who"..
Modern Day Delilah- Van Stephenson 1984 "She's a wizard with her shears, she's been turning heads for years..." LOVE IT!
Big Money-Rush 1985 As much as I love Rush, I always thought that "Power Windows" was one of their weaker albums.
I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide-ZZ Top 1979 (I never had the "Deguello" album, but I should get it. I really like ZZ Top's 70's stuff).
Not familiar with the Elvis songs
Woo-Hoo-Rock-a-Teens 1959 (I know this, actually! I have it on a VERY old (and I mean VERY OLD!) compilation album called "12 Golden Greats" on the "Forum" Label. This was a good rocker, kind of an early garage-rock tune. I think I voted for this in DJDave's Instrumental hits battle).

If I Wanted To--Melissa Etheridge--Don't know it. LMAO! Just thought I'd follow along with what the majority said on here. Actually, I like it a lot. But of course, you knew I'd say that. Pretty cool video, too. If You See Him, If You See Her--Don't like either version very much. Poor House--Not familiar. Don't Lose My Number--Not bad. Kinda catchy. Give Me the Night--It's ok. George isn't really a fave of mine. New Song--"Banjo brain". That's funny! Good song. I like it. When You Love a Woman--This is ok, but kinda schmaltzy. Can't Keep a Good Man Down--Pretty good, but Alabama's had better. Sleeping Bag--Yick. Walls--Don't think I know it. My Happiness--Might know it if I heard it. Feeling Alright--Kinda impartial to this one. Signed, Sealed, Delivered--Ditto this one. Bread and Butter--Can't remember how this goes. Modern Day Delilah--Title sounds familiar, can't place the tune. So Adam, what about Delilah in the Bible? Big Money--Don't know it. Doesn't sound like I'm missing much. I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide--I like this era better than their MTV era. Blue Moon--Not sure I know the Elvis version. I Forgot to Remember to Forget--I forgot to remember how this one goes. Woo-Hoo--I'd love to say I know this one well, but I don't think I ever heard of it.
