No One Else on Earth-Wyonna 1992 (new addition) I know Lora and I think Kathy will be disappointed, but I never got into the Judds in any form. This is a decent song though. 5476. I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry (Live)-Elvis 1973 Great cover of a BJ Thomas song. 5475. One Bad Apple-Osmond Brothers 1971 The only Osmond song I know, and probably the only one I'd be able to stand! 5474. Just What I Do-Trick Pony 2001 (new addition) This group is kindof annoying. A gal and two guys, and you can tell they want to be "rockin' country" but they are dorky. 5473. Born in the U.S.A.-Bruce Springsteen 1984/85 Man, I was all over this album back then! Sick of it since then. 5472. Why They Call it Falling Lee Ann Womack-2000(new addition) One of the later singles from this album. A slowy, not great. 5471. Along Comes a Woman-Chicago 1985 Getting into their bad period. What a shame. 5470. Don’t Let it End-Styx 1983 Speaking of a shameful bad period.... 5469. Snowblind-Styx 1980 A better period, but not one of the better songs. Not the same as the Sabbath song. 5468. Does My Ring Burn Your Finger-Lee Ann Womack 2000 (new addition) Again, one of the last singles, pretty much no radio play, but she sang it on one awards show. Nothing special. 5467. Room With a View-Carolyn Dawn Johnson 2001(new addition) The title cut from a great debut from this former Martina back up singer. However, this is the weakest cut. 5466. Your Precious Love-Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell 1967 Nice duet, but nothing I go out of my way to listen to. 5465. Boys Are Back in Town-Patty Loveless 2001 (new addition) NOT the Thin Lizzy or even the Bus Boys tune. Just a nice Bluegrass tune. 5464. Hole in the World-Eagles 2003 (new addition) Their recent reunion one off single. Nice harmonies, but won't make me forget their early stuff. 5463. Let’s Go to Vegas-Faith Hill 1995 (new addition) Back when Faith actually sang real country songs! I'm not sure, but I think this was number 1 on the country charts which really surprises me that this corny song went to the top when so many of Martina's missed making it there. 5462. Space Intro/Fly Like an Eagle-Steve Miller 1976/77 Need the full length intro of course! Not my fave though. Sick of it. 5461. Obsession-Animotion 1985 Yikes, sick of this one too! One that always shows up on VH-1 Lost or Where Are They Now Weekends. 5460. The Winner Takes it All-ABBA 1980/81 (previous ranking 2731) I have just not been in an ABBA state of mind the past few years. 5459. 5477 - No One Else On Earth - I have this and a few other of her tunes on cassette . Although I haven't listened to it in a long time this is a pretty good one.
5476 - I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry - The title is really familiar but I'm not sure if I 've heard it.
5475 - One Bad Apple - I believe I might still have this on a k- tel 8-track - good tune. Did you not care for Down By The Lazy River?
5474 - Just What I Do - I thought it was quite good - it's the only song of their's that I know.
5473 - Born in The U.S.A. - This was also a huge album for me at the time - I still like to listen to it every so often.

No One Else On Earth--Great song. Wynonna has a great voice. I enjoy pretty much everything she sings. I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry--Don't know if I ever heard this by him or not. One Bad Apple--Lots of fond memories of this one. I was crushin' on Donny when I was a teen! Just What I Do--I've heard a few songs by Trick Pony, but I don't know if this is one of 'em. LOL! Born In The USA--Never thought much of this song. It kinda drags. Why They Call It Falling--Well, why do they? I don't know this one. Along Comes A Woman--For some reason, I really like this. I remember when VH1 used to show cool classic videos, they showed a performance of this from '76. All these stoned people in the audience were like "Wow, man!", like it was the most incredible thing they've ever seen. My sister had this album along with "Dark Side Of The Moon". She liked to play those in the dark, with crazy hippie lights on. Because of that, those albums used to scare the crap out of me!

This may have NOTHING to do with what you are talking about (I'm not up on recording jargon AT ALL), but Martina's latest album was recorded analog instead of digitally. She wanted the sound you get listening to old records. So I don't know if you were interested in all that, but I thought I'd tell ya! LOL! |
