Ok, H2 will have a hard time with this, and Pete will probably hate it-11 of 20 are new country songs! LOL!
For whatever reason, when I added the country songs, they all seemed to gravitate to one another. So it won't be like this for long. There are sections of the list where there are NO new additions.
Til then, grin and bare it! ;D
5437. I’m a Survivor Reba McIntire-2001 (new addition)
This was a new track on third Greatest Hits album. It has since become her TV show theme. And then last year it was remixed for the TV show to sound more "hip".
5436. Cherry Hill Park-Billy Joe Royal 1969
The benefits of having a dad into music-hearing lesser heard stuff like this. He had the reissue on his juke with this as the A side, and Boondocks as the B.
5435. No Alibis-Eric Clapton 1989
My dad's friend got me this disc for my high school graduation, but I think August was way better.
5434. I’m Just Talkin’ About Tonight-Toby Keith 2001(new addition)
He is REALLY getting on my nerves at this point.
5433. Elvira-Oak Ridge Boys 1981
My cousin said this song reminded her of a monkey. LOL! My wife actually has this tape.
5432. Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue-Toby Keith 2002 (new addition)
More of the same. The song that started the great Dixie-Toby war.
5431. Contradiction-Kinleys 1997 (new addition)
From their first album that won them awards. One of the weaker tracks. Their second album is far superior.
5430. That Ain’t Right-Tammy Cochran 2001 (new addition)
Nice one from one of the newer ladies of country.
5429. On a Night Like This-Trick Pony 2001 (new addition)
Yes the new annoying country trio rears it's ugly head again.
5428. Too Shy-Kajagoogoo 1983
Many an hour has been spent by me making fun of this video.
5427. If You Can-Tammy Cochran 2000/02 (new addition)
And a song from her second album. Has a very good voice.
5426. Runnin' Down a Dream-Tom Petty 1989
I was never big on this one, but thought it was WAY cool how they mentioned Del.
5425. All Shook Up - Paul McCartney 1999
Yes, the Elvis tune. Again, from his Run Devil Run album which was almost all 50s covers.
5424. How Do You Like Me Now?!-Toby Keith 1999 (new addition)
Good Lord, there he is again. Don't worry, not too much more from "The Angry American".
5423. Still in the Game-Steve Winwood 1982
For whatever reason, doesn't seem to get the classic rock play that his other solo stuff gets.
5422. Fancy-Reba McEntire 1990 (new addition)
For a long time, the only Reba song I knew. I like her a lot now, meaning her herself, I think because of her show.
5421. Couldn’t Last a Moment-Collin Raye 2000 (new addition)
I'd call this country-pop. Nice tune.
5420. Pour Me-Trick Pony 2001 (new addition)
Ok, this is the last one from these guys! The first song that got them attention.
5419. One Summer Dream-E.L.O. 1975
Yet another I discovered from the Afterglow box set. Good, but there are better cuts on that album.
5418. Heart Like a Wheel-Steve Miller 1981
The forgotten single, in favor of Abracadabra. So forgotten, it didn't make his recent otherwise complete Greatest Hits.
Have at it!
