Let's see here......no new stuff!
5337 It Was Almost Like a Song-Ronnie Milsap 1977
Nice song, but all his songs seem so sad!
5336 You Don't Know What You've Got-Ral Donner 1961
One of THE best Elvis soundalikes. Now I am trying to remember if this is the song Elvis did himself, or if it was Girl of My Best Friend.
5335 Statesboro Blues (Live)-Allman Brothers 1971
What a coincidence, I have their Greatest Hits on right now! Not as big on their REAL bluesy stuff. But they do it good. 5334 Invisible Touch-Genesis 1986
Wow, I was so excited for new Genesis at the time. And I really liked this at first, but over the years, it's worn off. 5333 Train Kept a Rollin' (Live)-Aerosmith 1978
From the famous Live Bootleg, the one track one that one that gets somewhat regular play. Ok. 5332 I Say a Little Prayer for You-Dionne Warwick 1967
I think I know this version better than Aretha's. Either way, not big on the song. 5331 That Was Yesterday-Foreigner 1985
This one just did not measure up to their prime era hits. 5330 Speak to Me/Breathe-Pink Floyd 1973
This little ditty still get classic rock play. Nothing special. 5329 Born to Run-Bruce Springsteen 1975
Probably his signature hit, although I never heard it til my teens. 5328 Hey Joe-Jimi Hendrix 1967
It's amazing how different his version is from most others at the time. I prefer the other versions. 5327 Tightrope-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989
Not the Leon Russell OR ELO song. But one of his better ones.
5326 Bye Bye Baby-Madonna 1992
There are so many songs with this title or at least a similar one. She was starting to trail off after this album. 5325 Anything She Does-Genesis 1986
They put out almost everything on this album as a single, this being one of the last. Not bad, not up to the classics. 5324 In the Midnight Hour-Rascals 1966
Good cover from these blue-eyed soulsters. 5323 I Have a Dream-ABBA 1979
Wow, surprised I have this as one of their higher ones! Maybe I should re-do ABBA! 5322 Rocky Mountain Way-Joe Walsh 1973
I like Joe, but I never thought this was a good song. Still, this along with Life's Been Good are his signature songs. 5321 Hey Little Cobra-Rip Chords 1963/64
Typical of the sound at the time. 5320 Last Train to Clarksville-Monkees 1966
Yes, their first number 1, but even before it was overplayed, I was never big on this one. 5319 I Eat Cannibals-Total Coelo 1983
Here's one I hope VH-1 Classic plays soon! That was the only place I heard this one. 5318 Good Times-INXS and Jimmy Barnes 1987
Someone at the bar my wife and I hung out at loved this track from the Lost Boys soundtrack. Decent one.
Have at it!

5337 It Was Almost Like a Song-Ronnie Milsap 1977 Wonderful song, one of my favorites from Ronnie. I love the piano on it.
5336 You Don't Know What You've Got-Ral Donner 1961 I'm not too familiar with this one.
5335 Statesboro Blues (Live)-Allman Brothers 1971 Not my favorite from them, but still a good tune.
5334 Invisible Touch-Genesis 1986 I agree with you 100%. I have the cassette, but haven't listened to it much recently.
5333 Train Kept a Rollin' (Live)-Aerosmith 1978 Good rocker! This is starting to get regular play on the classic rock stations here also.
5332 I Say a Little Prayer for You-Dionne Warwick 1967 Always nice to hear this one - one of her best from the 60s.
5331 That Was Yesterday-Foreigner 1985 I liked this a lot back in the day, and still kinda do, but it hasn't held up as well as their earlier material.
5330 Speak to Me/Breathe-Pink Floyd 1973 Great cut from one of my favorite albums.
5329 Born to Run-Bruce Springsteen 1975 A classic track - this and 'Hungry Heart' are probably my favorites from Bruce.
5328 Hey Joe-Jimi Hendrix 1967 Not as good as many of his other cuts, but not bad.
5327 Tightrope-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989 I'm not as familiar with this as some of his others.
5326 Bye Bye Baby-Madonna 1992 I don't know this one.
5325 Anything She Does-Genesis 1986 Give me 'Land of Confusion' or 'Tonight Tonight Tonight'.
5324 In the Midnight Hour-Rascals 1966 Their stuff was so great.
5323 I Have a Dream-ABBA 1979 I have this on their Definitive Collection CD - need to give it a listen.
5322 Rocky Mountain Way-Joe Walsh 1973 I like this one, but it drags on a little too long in parts.
5321 Hey Little Cobra-Rip Chords 1963/64 Classic oldie, fun to listen to.
5320 Last Train to Clarksville-Monkees 1966 Good one, but there are quite a few of theirs I prefer over this.
5319 I Eat Cannibals-Total Coelo 1983 Not familiar.
5318 Good Times-INXS and Jimmy Barnes 1987 I may have heard this, but I'm not recalling it.

5337 - 5333. Don't know these.
5332 I Say a Little Prayer for You - Dionne Warwick
Hey, first song I know on today's list! I prefer the version of this song in My Best Friend's Wedding, with all of the wedding party singing it!
5331 - 5327. Not familiar with these.
5326 Bye Bye Baby - Madonna
I actually don't think I've ever heard this.
5325 - 5321. Or these...
5320 Last Train to Clarksville - Monkees
One of my favorites of theirs, but definitely not before Pleasant Valley Sunday.
5319 - 5318. Not familiar with these.

5337 It Was Almost Like a Song-Ronnie Milsap 1977 Good tune, but like "No gettin' over me" and "Any day now" even more.
5336 You Don't Know What You've Got-Ral Donner 1961 A tune on the "Elvis is back!" album IIRC. Good tune, but prefer the twist/stomp records of the time more.
5335 Statesboro Blues (Live)-Allman Brothers 1971 OK.
5334 Invisible Touch-Genesis 1986 Still like it, but falling from grace.
5333 Train Kept a Rollin' (Live)-Aerosmith 1978 Great version!
5332 I Say a Little Prayer for You-Dionne Warwick 1967 Gimme Aretha. Just better.
5331 That Was Yesterday-Foreigner 1985 Oddly, this has really grown on me. Great synth work.
5330 Speak to Me/Breathe-Pink Floyd 1973 Awesome.
5329 Born to Run-Bruce Springsteen 1975 I think I said it before; eternal top 1000 for me. At this time, glad "LostInThe70's" isn't seeing this!
5328 Hey Joe-Jimi Hendrix 1967 The version I knew first, and still "the one".
5327 Tightrope-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989 Good one.
5326 Bye Bye Baby-Madonna 1992 MUCH rather hear the 4 Seasons tune of the same name.
5325 Anything She Does-Genesis 1986 Love this! Not a bad tune from the album.
5324 In the Midnight Hour-Rascals 1966 Only know this from an LP at my college "Time Peace". Never aired this version, but still up to par with Wilson Pickett.
5323 I Have a Dream-ABBA 1979 Great song.
5322 Rocky Mountain Way-Joe Walsh 1973 Top notch!
5321 Hey Little Cobra-Rip Chords 1963/64 One of the many tunes from the era my mom could listen to more than myself.
5320 Last Train to Clarksville-Monkees 1966 Always loved it.
5319 I Eat Cannibals-Total Coelo 1983 Good song! A UK all-female band. I always group this with Haysi Fantayzee's "Shiny shiny" from the era.
5318 Good Times-INXS and Jimmy Barnes 1987 LOVE it; crank it up! Ticked "For America" didn't make Jackson Browne's updated compilation; would be even more ticked if this is STILL not on an updated INXS compilation. I will NOT get "The Lost Boys" CD!!!

5337 It Was Almost Like a Song-Ronnie Milsap 1977 I like most of his famous singles. This one is sad though. 5336 You Don't Know What You've Got-Ral Donner 1961 I thought this was an Elvis song. Ral who? 5335 Statesboro Blues (Live)-Allman Brothers 1971 A little too much for me 5334 Invisible Touch-Genesis 1986 Never liked this tune 5333 Train Kept a Rollin' (Live)-Aerosmith 1978 Pretty good. 5332 I Say a Little Prayer for You-Dionne Warwick 1967 A great song. I like Aretha's version better but they're both good. 5331 That Was Yesterday-Foreigner 1985 I always liked this track. 5330 Speak to Me/Breathe-Pink Floyd 1973 Yuck, next 5329 Born to Run-Bruce Springsteen 1975 Probably overplayed but it's a great tune. 5328 Hey Joe-Jimi Hendrix 1967 His version is different and IMO better. 5327 Tightrope-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989 Hee hee I'm imagining Stevie playing the Leon Russell version... 5326 Bye Bye Baby-Madonna 1992 A forgettable track 5325 Anything She Does-Genesis 1986 Radio doens't play this much. 5324 In the Midnight Hour-Rascals 1966 Great cover, but nothing can touch the original. 5323 I Have a Dream-ABBA 1979 As sappy as this song is I just love it for some reason. I can do without the little kid singers at the end though. 5322 Rocky Mountain Way-Joe Walsh 1973 Not his best. 5321 Hey Little Cobra-Rip Chords 1963/64 Not my style 5320 Last Train to Clarksville-Monkees 1966 One of the few songs by them that I know. It's simplistic but good. 5319 I Eat Cannibals-Total Coelo 1983 I forgot this song existed! 5318 Good Times-INXS and Jimmy Barnes 1987 Pretty good. I don't think I've heard it anywhere but from the Lost Boys.

5337 It Was Almost Like a Song-Ronnie Milsap 1977 Never did much for me.
5336 You Don't Know What You've Got-Ral Donner 1961 Another decent Ral song, but not my fave by him.
5335 Statesboro Blues (Live)-Allman Brothers 1971 Don't know it.
5334 Invisible Touch-Genesis 1986 Fair-to-midlin'
5333 Train Kept a Rollin' (Live)-Aerosmith 1978 Don't know it.
5332 I Say a Little Prayer for You-Dionne Warwick 1967 I agree, better than Aretha's version.
5331 That Was Yesterday-Foreigner 1985 Not Bad
5330 Speak to Me/Breathe-Pink Floyd 1973 Another one of those Pink Floyd songs that I know I heard back then, but I can't place now.
5329 Born to Run-Bruce Springsteen 1975 Always liked this. I know that Bruce is a classic rocker, album rocker, whatever you wanna call him - but what I can't understand is how this song, which everybody knew and which was released as a SINGLE during the beginning of the height in his popularity, only reached #23.
5328 Hey Joe-Jimi Hendrix 1967 Good song!
5327 Tightrope-Stevie Ray Vaughan 1989 Don't know it.
5326 Bye Bye Baby-Madonna 1992 Don't know it
5325 Anything She Does-Genesis 1986 Same response as to Invisible Touch
5324 In the Midnight Hour-Rascals 1966 I'd forgotten that they did this. I know I have the album that it's on, but I haven't heard it in years.
5323 I Have a Dream-ABBA 1979 Doesn't ring a bell.
5322 Rocky Mountain Way-Joe Walsh 1973 Not familiar with it
5321 Hey Little Cobra-Rip Chords 1963/64 Beach Boys soundalikes. Not bad.
5320 Last Train to Clarksville-Monkees 1966 I remember an interview in which one of them said that this was meant to kinda parody the Beatles "Yeah Yeah Yeah", which was why this song had "No, No, No, No" in it. Not a bad song, but they got better as they went along.
5319 I Eat Cannibals-Total Coelo 1983 Don't know it.
5318 Good Times-INXS and Jimmy Barnes 1987 I guess I heard it because I saw "The Lost Boys", but I don't remember it.

Always liked it. 5330 - Speak To Me / Breathe - Really tired of it. 5329 - Born To Run - I seem to recall first hearing this sometime in the early 80's. 5328 - Hey Joe - Among my faves from Jimi. 5327 - Tightrope - Love it so much. 5326 - Bye Bye Baby - Not familiar 5325 - Anything She Does - I seem to remember a video for this and wasn't Benny Hill in it? 5324 - In The Midnight Hour - They did an awesome job! 5323 - I Have a Dream - Nice simple pleasent tune. 5322 - Rocky Mountain Way - I have never grown tired of it. 5321 - Hey Little Cobra - First heard this back in the early 70's - Cool! 5320 - Last Train To Clarksville - Terrific song! 5319 - I Eat Cannibals - Don't Know it. 5318 - Good Times - I really liked the movie alot at the time - I think I still have a copy of it on video, Great cover of The Easybeats classic

5328 Hey Joe-Jimi Hendrix 1967 This one is pretty cool.

5319 I Eat Cannibals-Total Coelo 1983 I never heard this one.
5318 Good Times-INXS and Jimmy Barnes 1987 This song is okay, but not the best on the Lost Boys soundtrack. The version of Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me is the best on that album, or so I think. [/glow]

It Was Almost Like a Song--I was into Ronnie for awhile during my youth. Always liked this one. You Don't Know What You've Got--I had never even heard of Ral Donner before you mentioned him, Adam. I don't know this song. Statesboro Blues--Don't know it. Invisible Touch--This was ok at first, but I got tired of it in a hurry. Train Kept a Rollin'--Like this one a lot. I Say A Little Prayer For You--Pleasant enough song, but one I wouldn't go out of my way to hear. That Was Yesterday--Never liked this one for some reason. Thought it was kind of annoying. Speak To Me/Breathe--Don't think I know it. Born To Run--Classic Springsteen. Good tune! Hey Joe--Pretty good song. I also have a version of it by Cher! Tightrope--Not ringing any bells. Bye Bye Baby--I don't recall this one. What album is it on? Anything She Does--Was never impressed with this one. In the Midnight Hour--Like it a lot. I Have a Dream--Not familiar. Rocky Mountain Way--Not too bad, but there are others of his that I like better. Hey Little Cobra--Was never big on that type of music. Last Train to Clarksville--Got way tired of it. I Eat Cannibals--Never heard of it. Good Times--Don't think I know it.

5329 Born to Run-Bruce Springsteen 1975 Always liked this. I know that Bruce is a classic rocker, album rocker, whatever you wanna call him - but what I can't understand is how this song, which everybody knew and which was released as a SINGLE during the beginning of the height in his popularity, only reached #23. 5320 Last Train to Clarksville-Monkees 1966 I remember an interview in which one of them said that this was meant to kinda parody the Beatles "Yeah Yeah Yeah", which was why this song had "No, No, No, No" in it. Not a bad song, but they got better as they went along. 5329. I think BECAUSE it got more FM than AM play. Truth be told, I never knew it in the 70s. Discovered it as a classic rock song in my teens. 5320. Wow, never knew that! Cool!
