More catch up!
4877 Baby Come Back-Equals 1968 (previous ranking 3091)
First heard this on one of those DJ's CDs. Eddy Grant sings lead on this. Not one of the better ones on those CDs.
4876 Mexico-Firefall 1976
Nice mellow tune frome these underrated guys. 4875 Albert Flasher-Guess Who 1971
Think I first heard this during a block of Guess Who songs. They had better stuff in the 70s.
4874 Getcha Back-Beach Boys 1985
A comeback for them. The video was cooler than the song.
4873 You Ain’t So Tough-Heart 1987
One of the better Bad Animals album cuts. 4872 Dead Man's Curve-Jan & Dean 1964
Scary song, all things considered. But still a classic. 4871 Happy Together-Turtles 1967
Another classic, but just SO tired of it. 4870 I've Got a Rock-n-Roll Heart-Eric Clapton 1983
Good, but not a classic from him. 4869 Rock and Roll Music-Beach Boys 1976
More from their "cover" period. Better than Chuck, but not the Beatles. 4868 White Wedding-Billy Idol 1982/83
Never thought this was his best.
4867 Message in a Bottle-Police 1979
For whatever reason, one I forget about when thinking about their songs.
4866 Vanz Kant Dance-John Fogerty 1985
A rib on the exec at his record company. Interesting song. 4865 Radio Radio-Elvis Costello 1979
Not big on Elvis Costello, not big on this song.
4864 Baby Love-Supremes 1964
More typical Supremes stuff. 4863 Stages-ZZ Top 1986
Liked this better than their other 80s stuff cuz it didn't sound like it. 4862 Axel F-Harold Faltermeyer 1985
Thought this was so cool when it came out. I'm living ok without it now. 4861 Fool-Elvis 1973
First heard this on a cool reissue collection called Burning Love. Decent. 4860 Monkey in Your Soul-Steely Dan 1974 (new addition)
Another learned from the box set. They were at the start of their peak at this point.
4859 Can You Feel it?-Angel 1977
Cool song from them-not their best, not their worst.
4858 Suffragette City-David Bowie 1972
Never a huge Bowie fan, and am tired of this one.

4877 Baby Come Back-Equals 1968 (previous ranking 3091) Not a bad tune.
4876 Mexico-Firefall 1976 Love their stuff!
4875 Albert Flasher-Guess Who 1971 I like this, but there are quite a few I prefer to this one.
4874 Getcha Back-Beach Boys 1985 Nicely done, especially the vocals. I love the video!
4873 You Ain’t So Tough-Heart 1987 I can't place this one.
4872 Dead Man's Curve-Jan & Dean 1964 Good tune, one of their best.
4871 Happy Together-Turtles 1967 This has always been a huge fave of mine - love it.
4870 I've Got a Rock-n-Roll Heart-Eric Clapton 1983 An average tune from him.
4869 Rock and Roll Music-Beach Boys 1976 One of my lesser faves from them. I like the Live at Knebworth version better than the studio one.
4868 White Wedding-Billy Idol 1982/83 Still like this a lot.
4867 Message in a Bottle-Police 1979 Great track.
4866 Vanz Kant Dance-John Fogerty 1985 I don't think I've heard this.
4865 Radio Radio-Elvis Costello 1979 The title seems familiar, but I'm not sure I've heard the song.
4864 Baby Love-Supremes 1964 Probably my favorite of their early hits.
4863 Stages-ZZ Top 1986 Good one - remember buying the Afterburner cassette back in the day.
4862 Axel F-Harold Faltermeyer 1985 Same here - this hasn't held up that well for me.
4861 Fool-Elvis 1973 Not familiar.
4860 Monkey in Your Soul-Steely Dan 1974 (new addition) Very good cut from one of my favorite groups.
4859 Can You Feel it?-Angel 1977 I don't know it, but would like to check out their material.
4858 Suffragette City-David Bowie 1972 One of his best early cuts.

4877 Baby Come Back-Equals 1968 (previous ranking 3091) LOVE this MUCH. Cool "OKAY!" shouts from Eddy, groovy lead vocal from Dervy Gordon. STILL not in my CD collection, however...
4876 Mexico-Firefall 1976 Great cut.
4875 Albert Flasher-Guess Who 1971 Cool movin' tune; fine piano. Always felt it had the same feel as JoJo Gunne's "Run Run Run".
4874 Getcha Back-Beach Boys 1985 Great tune that deserved more.
4873 You Ain’t So Tough-Heart 1987 Not very familiar with it.
4872 Dead Man's Curve-Jan & Dean 1964 Their first one I knew; still love it.
4871 Happy Together-Turtles 1967 I can't get enough myself, but that Applebee's take-off ad ("Imagine steak and shrimp...") was played WAYYY too much in the recent NCAA March madness tourney...
4870 I've Got a Rock-n-Roll Heart-Eric Clapton 1983 Not on either of my Clapton compilation CD's (1970-1979), (1985-1999). Nor is his better "I can't stand it". But I still love both tunes, and eager to find them to burn shortly...
4869 Rock and Roll Music-Beach Boys 1976 Love it.
4868 White Wedding-Billy Idol 1982/83 Not his biggest charter, but I've always loved it. One of the 80's best.
4867 Message in a Bottle-Police 1979 I've never been too crazy for this; especially the last minute to the fade...
4866 Vanz Kant Dance-John Fogerty 1985 Originally titled "Zanz Kant Danz". Never heard exactly why that had to be changed...anyway, good tune.
4865 Radio Radio-Elvis Costello 1979 OK.
4864 Baby Love-Supremes 1964 Don't mind this, better than "Love is here" and "Stop!"...
4863 Stages-ZZ Top 1986 Always loved it! Dig the tambourine shakin' intro!
4862 Axel F-Harold Faltermeyer 1985 Give or take.
4861 Fool-Elvis 1973 Not bad.
4860 Monkey in Your Soul-Steely Dan 1974 (new addition) Yes! Good one!
4859 Can You Feel it?-Angel 1977 Good one I do know!
4858 Suffragette City-David Bowie 1972 WOO HOO!!!! Hey man...

4874 - 4877 – don’t know them 4873 You Ain’t So Tough-Heart – good song 4872 Dead Man's Curve-Jan & Dean - An early 60s classic, love it 4871 Happy Together-Turtles – Love it great song 4870 I've Got a Rock-n-Roll Heart-Eric Clapton – Good song 4869 Rock and Roll Music-Beach Boys – Chuck’s & the Beatles versions are so much better 4868 White Wedding-Billy Idol – Not his best, but not a bad song 4867 Message in a Bottle-Police – One of their better songs, but gets redundant at the end with all “sending out an SOS” 4866 Vanz Kant Dance-John Fogerty – This is a great song 4865 Radio Radio-Elvis Costello - I only like a few of Elvis Costello’s songs, and this ain’t one of them 4864 Baby Love-Supremes – Good song 4863 Stages-ZZ Top – another great one from ZZ Top. 4862 Axel F-Harold Faltermeyer – don’t know it 4861 Fool-Elvis – Had fallen off the Elvis bandwagon by ’73, not bad 4860 Monkey in Your Soul-Steely Dan – I don’t know this one, is it only on the box set 4859 Can You Feel it?-Angel – don’t know it 4858 Suffragette City-David Bowie – One of his great early ‘70s songs

4860 Monkey in Your Soul-Steely Dan – I don’t know this one, is it only on the box set No sir, it was originally on Pretzel Logic. The bonus cuts on the box are Here at the Western World, which was a B side, a Live take of Bodhisttava, a demo of Everyone's Gone to the Movies, and FM (although that was on several compilations). The rest was just straight albums.

Baby Come Back--Pretty good song. Nice beat. I just bought this album at a thrift store not too long ago.
Mexico----Not sure I know it.
Albert Flasher--Like it a lot, but tend to forget about it among all the other Guess Who songs.
Getcha Back--Don't think I know it.
You Ain't So Tough--Pretty cool song.
Dead Man's Curve--Wasn't into Jan and Dean much, but this is a pretty good song.
Happy Together--I'm tired of it too.
I've Got a Rock and Roll Heart--Kinda boring.
Rock and Roll Music--Don't think I know this version.
White Wedding--Good tune from Billy. One of his best.
Message in a Bottle--Can't stand it. Ick.
Vanz Kant Dance--Original title was Zanz Kant Dance. Sol Zanz, the guy the song is about, threatened John with a lawsuit, so the title of the song was changed. I have the album with the original title on it. Wonder if it's worth anything. LOL!
Radio Radio--Not sure if I know it or not.
Baby Love--Just really tired of the Supremes in general.
Stages--Remember the title, can't place the tune.
Axel F--One of those songs that if I hear it, it'll be with me the rest of the day. Who needs that? LOL!
Fool--I remember I had this 45 with a picture sleeve. Was it Steamroller Blues that was on the flip side? Anyway, cool song.
Monkey in Your Soul--Don't know it.
Can You Feel It--Don't know it.
Suffragette City--Not crazy about it.

I'm still catching up to your catch up. 4877 Baby Come Back-Equals 1968 Never crazy about this one. 4876 Mexico-Firefall 1976 Not sure about this one. 4875 Albert Flasher-Guess Who 1971 Kind of a weird song. I equate this and 'Rain Dance' with the Guess Who on a downward slide. 4874 Getcha Back-Beach Boys 1985 Don't know it. 4873 You Ain’t So Tough-Heart 1987 Don't know it. 4872 Dead Man's Curve-Jan & Dean 1964 Scary is right! If not for Jan's accident, it would just be viewed as just another of the "drive carefully" songs that were all over the radio back then. 4871 Happy Together-Turtles 1967 Love the song! Always loved the Turtles, and besides this one has special memories. All Time Top 250. 4870 I've Got a Rock-n-Roll Heart-Eric Clapton 1983 I like this one. 4869 Rock and Roll Music-Beach Boys 1976 Not bad at all, but I still prefer the original here. 4868 White Wedding-Billy Idol 1982/83 Can't STAND Billy Idol 4867 Message in a Bottle-Police 1979 So-so 4866 Vanz Kant Dance-John Fogerty 1985 Don't know it 4865 Radio Radio-Elvis Costello 1979 Don't know it 4864 Baby Love-Supremes 1964 There are four titles and/or lines from two early Supremes songs: Baby, Baby Baby Love Don't Throw Our Love Away Where Did Our Love Go It took me YEARS to remember which two lines are titles, which are just lines, and which two go together. That is probably because: THE TWO SONGS SOUND EXACTLY ALIKE!!4863 Stages-ZZ Top 1986 Not bad 4862 Axel F-Harold Faltermeyer 1985 Never cared for it. 4861 Fool-Elvis 1973 Not among his best 4860 Monkey in Your Soul-Steely Dan 1974 (new addition) Don't know it. 4859 Can You Feel it?-Angel 1977 Don't know it 4858 Suffragette City-David Bowie 1972 eh

I always liked this one.
4867 - 4865. Don't know these.
4864 Baby Love - Supremes
Very good.

4868 White Wedding-Billy Idol 1982/83 It's not my fave from him but I love this anyway; although it's a little overplayed.

STILL not in my CD collection, however... 4877. Wow, I thought it was Eddy on lead! 4867. That part IS annoying! 4866. Someone else explained it on here-Zanz was his record publisher, and it was a blast at him.
