Well, it's after midnight, so 3 days late! LOL!
4857 Fire-Ohio Players 1974/75
Interesting funk tune, nothing I love though.
4856 Evil That Men Do-Iron Maiden 1988
Discovered this late Maiden tune when I got The Best of the Beast. One of their "poppier" tunes, if you can call it that.
4855 Cry Me a River (Live)-Joe Cocker 1970
Never really hear this one, I caught it after seeing it on a radio set list. Not bad, but I'm not big on him. 4854 Tell Laura I Love Her-Ray Peterson 1960
Typical teenage angst song of the early 60s. Never you couldn't live without. 4853 Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?-Culture Club 1982/83
One of their better ones, but I REALLY need to re-evaluate this list!
4852 That's the Way (I Like it)-KC & the Sunshine Band 1975
Sick of their 3 most popular tunes.
4851 Roll With it-Steve Winwood 1988
One I liked when it was out (look at the year and think about what else was out then), but have grown real tired of it.
4850 SMF-Twisted Sister 1984
I know what the MF is for, but have heard several theories on what S is for-Stupid, Shit and even Small. Anyway, decent album cut from a good album.
4849 Midnight Special-Johnny Rivers 1965
The song that was used of the show years later, but CCR's version blows this one away. 4848 Still Crazy After All These Years-Paul Simon 1976
Cool subject for a song, but too slow.
4847 Please, Please, Please-James Brown 1964 My fave of his-the one that conjures up images of the whole cape thing onstage.
4846 Changes-David Bowie 72/74/75
My least fave of songs with this title. I respect his standing in the biz, but I think he is a tad overrated.
4845 Flesh for Fantasy-Billy Idol 1984
One of his lesser singles. My buddy and I always made fun of the movements Billy made in the video. 4844 Everyday I Write the Book-Elvis Costello 1983
One of his better songs. Not his best though. 4843 Back Stabbers-O’Jays 1972
Got so sick of this from oldies radio. "WHAT THEY DO!"
4842 Everybody’s Trying to Be My Baby-Beatles 1964
Not one I listen to much, but the Beatles always did a good job of "modernizing" the songs of their hereos.
4841 For a Rocker-Jackson Browne 1984 (previous ranking 3061) A decent one from Jackson, not heard as much as his other ones these days.
4840 Living After Midnight-Judas Priest 1980 (previous ranking 1671)
I used to like this a WHOLE lot, but between Rock radio, and my cousin's band driving it into the ground, it can just retire.
4839 These Boots Are Made For Walkin’-Nancy Sinatra 1966
Nancy had some of THE BEST album covers back then!! Good song.
4838 Let’s Go to Bed-Cure 1982
This could actually be ranked a little higher. I wasn't a Cure fan per se, but I really enjoyed a handful of their biggest hits.
Go for it!

I've never heard the song, but maybe "sick"? Just a wild guess.

4857 Fire-Ohio Players 1974/75 Great, one of their best.
4856 Evil That Men Do-Iron Maiden 1988 I don't think I've heard this.
4855 Cry Me a River (Live)-Joe Cocker 1970 Not my favorite from him, but not bad.
4854 Tell Laura I Love Her-Ray Peterson 1960 Nice to hear occasionally.
4853 Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?-Culture Club 1982/83 Liked this a lot back then, and still do.
4852 That's the Way (I Like it)-KC & the Sunshine Band 1975 Love this!
4851 Roll With it-Steve Winwood 1988 I like Steve, but this got overplayed.
4850 SMF-Twisted Sister 1984 I know I've heard this, but don't remember the melody.
4849 Midnight Special-Johnny Rivers 1965 One of my lesser faves from him.
4848 Still Crazy After All These Years-Paul Simon 1976 I've never warmed up to this as much as his other hits.
4847 Please, Please, Please-James Brown 1964 Not familiar.
4846 Changes-David Bowie 72/74/75 I liked this at one point, but I'm starting to grow tired of it.
4845 Flesh for Fantasy-Billy Idol 1984 I don't remember this from when it was current - didn't hear it until '99 or so. Not bad.
4844 Everyday I Write the Book-Elvis Costello 1983 Probably my favorite from him.
4843 Back Stabbers-O’Jays 1972 A bit overplayed, but a good tune.
4842 Everybody’s Trying to Be My Baby-Beatles 1964 Good one, but they had better ones from that period.
4841 For a Rocker-Jackson Browne 1984 (previous ranking 3061) I need to refresh my memory on this one.
4840 Living After Midnight-Judas Priest 1980 (previous ranking 1671) Not their best.
4839 These Boots Are Made For Walkin’-Nancy Sinatra 1966 Nice one.
4838 Let’s Go to Bed-Cure 1982 Don't know it.

4857 Fire-Ohio Players 1974/75 Always loved it.
4856 Evil That Men Do-Iron Maiden 1988 Not bad.
4855 Cry Me a River (Live)-Joe Cocker 1970 Just played some of his tunes earlier today, and his early era was sooo great!
4854 Tell Laura I Love Her-Ray Peterson 1960 A spin every now and then is all right.
4853 Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?-Culture Club 1982/83 Still good.
4852 That's the Way (I Like it)-KC & the Sunshine Band 1975 I don't get sick of ANY disco! My top fave of theirs.
4851 Roll With it-Steve Winwood 1988 Still great, but he had yet better.
4850 SMF-Twisted Sister 1984 I think it's "sick". Not too bad, but the hits were better.
4849 Midnight Special-Johnny Rivers 1965 The version I first knew. Good, but fell into the pattern of his previous hits at that Go-Go club.
4848 Still Crazy After All These Years-Paul Simon 1976 Love it.
4847 Please, Please, Please-James Brown 1964 Actually, it hit #4 R & B in 1956, but it only scratched the pop chart in a "live" version in '64. Definitely the earliest version's better.
4846 Changes-David Bowie 72/74/75 Great tune--sometimes quoted in yearbooks.
4845 Flesh for Fantasy-Billy Idol 1984 Great one.
4844 Everyday I Write the Book-Elvis Costello 1983 Didn't get much play in Central New York. His earlier ones were better.
4843 Back Stabbers-O’Jays 1972 Fresh tune for 1972. Man I love that 70's Philly-Soul sound.
4842 Everybody’s Trying to Be My Baby-Beatles 1964 Good one.
4841 For a Rocker-Jackson Browne 1984 (previous ranking 3061) Not bad, but better than previous "Tender".
4840 Living After Midnight-Judas Priest 1980 (previous ranking 1671) Still my 2nd fave of theirs. Crank this mutha up!
4839 These Boots Are Made For Walkin’-Nancy Sinatra 1966 Love it always. Eternally in my top 500; LOVE that bass going down in key...
4838 Let’s Go to Bed-Cure 1982 My least fave tune on Rhino's 80's box. I just can't get into them; but some college girls I knew LOVED every song of theirs--EEK!

Fire--Man, I loved this one when I was a kid. Played it all the time.
Evil that Men Do--Don't know it.
Cry Me a River--Don't know it.

Do You Really Want to Hurt Me--Probably my least favorite Culture Club song.
That's the Way I Like It--Love this one. Good party song.
Roll With It--Never liked it much.
SMF--Don't remember it.
Midnight Special--Good, but I prefer CCR's version.
Still Crazy After All These Years--Good one. I used to have a t-shirt that said that. LOL!
Please Please Please--Don't like James much, but this is a good tune.
Changes--Great! I like singing along to it.
Flesh For Fantasy--Not a favorite.
Everyday I Write the Book--I don't mind this one.
Back Stabbers--Kinda tired of it.
Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby--Doesn't sound familiar.
For a Rocker--Love it! One of his best.
Living After Midnight--Don't know it.
These Boots Are Made for Walkin--Are ya ready, boots? Start walkin'. Classic!
Let's Go To Bed--Don't know it.

4857 Fire-Ohio Players 1974/75 Pretty good tune
4856 Evil That Men Do-Iron Maiden 1988 Don't know it
4855 Cry Me a River (Live)-Joe Cocker 1970 I like most of Joe's music including this one. - But I like a version of this from about 15 years earlier by Julie London even more.
4854 Tell Laura I Love Her-Ray Peterson 1960 Came out about the same time as Teen Angel, which became an early classic - defining a genre. This just became a MEMBER of the genre. IMO, this is the better song. Always loved Ray's voice.
4853 Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?-Culture Club 1982/83 I agree, one of their better ones. Kinda like it, actually.
4852 That's the Way (I Like it)-KC & the Sunshine Band 1975 I can take or leave them, preferrably leave.
4851 Roll With it-Steve Winwood 1988 Not bad
4850 SMF-Twisted Sister 1984 Don't know it
4849 Midnight Special-Johnny Rivers 1965 Like most of Johnnys songs. Thgis one is not bad at all.
4848 Still Crazy After All These Years-Paul Simon 1976 One of the better of Paul's solos, of which I like only a few.
4847 Please, Please, Please-James Brown 1964 Pretty good song.
4846 Changes-David Bowie 72/74/75 So so
4845 Flesh for Fantasy-Billy Idol 1984 I STILL can't stand Billy Idol !
4844 Everyday I Write the Book-Elvis Costello 1983 Don't know it.
4843 Back Stabbers-O’Jays 1972 Stolen from Smiling Faces Sometimes by the Undisputed Truth - which I like better.
4842 Everybody’s Trying to Be My Baby-Beatles 1964 One of their lessr efforts.
4841 For a Rocker-Jackson Browne 1984 Don't think I remember this
4840 Living After Midnight-Judas Priest 1980 Don't know it
4839 These Boots Are Made For Walkin’-Nancy Sinatra 1966 Her signature song. It's not bad, but there are several of hers that I like better

4857 - 4854. Again, never heard these. 4853 Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?- Culture Club This is a song that always comes to mind when I'm trying to think of classic 80s songs. You can't do without Culture Club!! 4852 That's the Way (I Like it) - KC & the Sunshine Band I could definitely do without this. 4851 - 4848. Don't know these. 4847 Please, Please, Please - James Brown And this song is one of the reasons that I've always thought of him as conceited. I've seen the whole cape thing too. He's just a show-off. 4846 Changes - David Bowie I like it. Cool song. 4845 - 4840. Not familiar with these. 4839 These Boots Are Made For Walkin’ - Nancy Sinatra Although I do really love this song's lyrics, I've always thought that Nancy wouldn't have gotten anywhere in showbiz without that surname. 4838 Let’s Go to Bed - Cure Don't know it.
