Early yesterday morning I gave you If You Remember the 60s, Part I. The jukebox at work was much better today, but I put in about $3.00 worth of songs and tied it up for about 40 minutes. My revenge.
Anyway, here is Part II of If You Remember the 60s, You Probably Really Weren't There
1. Mr. Spaceman - Byrds 2. Unconscious Power - Iron Butterfly 3. A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum 4. Chest Fever - The Band 5. With a Little Help From My Friends - Joe Cocker 6. Strange Days - The Doors 7. Incense & Peppermint - Strawberry Alarm Clock 8. I Feel Like I'm Fixin' To Die Rag - Country Joe & the Fish 9. Subterranean Homesick Blues - Bob Dylan 10. Down On Me - Big Brother & the Holding Company 11. Bluebird - Buffalo Springfield 12. You Keep Me Hangin' On - Vanilla Fudge 13. Green Tambourine - Lemon Pipers 14. Let's Get Together - Dino Valenti 15. Psychotic Reaction - The Count Five 16. I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night) - Electric Prunes 17. White Bird - It's A Beautiful Day 18. The End - The Doors
Enjoy
Part III, we will have to see.

Far Out!!
The only one I'm not familiar with is the Iron Butterfly track.
Excellent track listing.

Again, there are a couple three that I don't remember. My faves: A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum With a Little Help From My Friends - Joe Cocker (actually like this as much if not more than the Beatles version) Strange Days - The Doors Down On Me - Big Brother & the Holding Company You Keep Me Hangin' On - Vanilla Fudge I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night) - Electric Prunes (As for Incense and Peppermints, they played this enough during 1968 to keep me satiated for 40 years!! Wait a minute! The 40 years are just about up. Does that mean I may start liking this song again soon? Nah. Probably not. ;D

Woody, you have a real knack for putting together interesting tracklistings that flow well together, and this is no exception. I'm a big Strawberry Alarm Clock fan - was just listening to some of their Good Morning Starshine CD earlier today - so it's great to see a song from them among the tracks.

Then you probably didn't appreciate my post about them - on the same thread, right above yours.

But I kinda lost track of it until I got Iron Butterfly's Light & Heavy CD. Heard it again for the first time, still a good song. I also included The Band again to continue the Canadian Content.

Back when my son was still in high school, he used the song when his drama class did a 60s version of Shakespere's A Mid Summer Night's Dream. He listened to a lot of my old 60s albums to pick the songs for the play. He had a lot of fun with it.

Thank you Dawn, I had a lot of fun putting both these CDs together. As I told Ed, I've never tired of Incense & Peppermint. It is a fun song.
