Here's some of my favorite lesser known CD's that I highly recommend. If any of you don't know them, give them a shot. You may be surprised.
David Bowie: Earthling Elvis Costello: My Aim Is True Paul McCartney: Choba B CCCP (the Russian album) Sting: Mercury Falling Emiliana Torrini: Love In The Time Of Science
And an artist that really should be more popular in the US, Robbie Williams! All these albums are worth a listen:
The Ego Has Landed Sing When You're Winning Swing When You're Winning (Robbie sings old standards) Escapology

Ha, nice pic Sat!! I've got an album to recommend--Kelly Clarkson's "Thankful". It's amazing! Of course, if Tamyra Gray had an album out, it would be better, but...

I'm in the midst of an Elton John thing right now. I fully recommend getting the Greatest Hits 2-disc set! And on an Elton side note......Has anyone heard Dave Grohl's live version of "Tiny Dancer"? He performed it on the Craig Kilborn Show and had the audience singing along too - it's sooooo awesome!! Download it if ya get the chance I've loved Elton's music since the 70's So great! I have a large collection of Elton CD's.

The "Celebrate" collection is good, but there are WAY too many songs that I love that are not on it. "Rock 'n Roll Widow", "Jam" and "Woman" come to mind.
But, you do get Redwoods version of "Time To Get Alone, produced by none other than Brian Wilson himself!

But, you do get Redwoods version of "Time To Get Alone, produced by none other than Brian Wilson himself! Then you must have a deep knowledge of their stuff! I was happy getting the deeper tracks that I listed above! And I know other people who just have that plain white cover, with the three pics and "The Best of" written in crayon! LOL!

Last Saturday night, I went out to Boston to celebrate my finishing up the semester. In the car I played a CD I haven't heard in over 15 years: "Surveilance" by Triumph (The last album by the original band). I haven't stopped listening to it since!
Most fans say that this was their weakest album, but I like it better than "The Sport Of Kings", which came before it! "Never Say Never", "Long Time Gone", and "Carry On The Flame" sound better now than they did in '87!
