My fave CSN (& Y!) album! One GREAT acoustic guitar on "Carry on". Teach your children is one of the best countrified rock songs I've ever heard. Almost cut my hair is a little silly, definitely not boring! Woodstock-the lyrics say it all. The ultimate rock festival; an anthem. Deja Vu-super title track. And my fave of all their tunes ever... OUR HOUSE! This would have been a bigger hit (#30) if singles sales weren't so dissapointing, due to the album's popularity. I could play it all day long. Thanks, Dave. I remember you said you liked this one when I was still posting these on ML. You make a good point about 'Our House' - I agree, the album's popularity probably did affect the sales of the single. A similar situation probably happened with Bob Seger's 'Old Time Rock and Roll' - a rock classic, and yet it only reached #28.

What a great album! So many excellent songs! Teach Your Children, Helpless, Woodstock, Our House, 4 + 20...Absolutely love 'em! Good choice! Thanks, Kathy! I agree, this is a superb album, with many wonderful classics. In recent years, I've really grown to love CSN & Y's music. There was so much talent in that group.
