A few days ago Jug did a post about controversial LP covers and. I know this was done back at YL from time to time. So I hope you don't mind a repeat performance I was looking through a book of album cover art that I have last night and there have been some great covers over the years. Here are some of my faves: KISS - Destroyer Little Feat - Feats Don't Fail Me Now Beatles - Sgt Pepper Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare Grateful Dead - American Beauty Badfinger - Straight Up! Santana - Lotus Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road , Captain Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy Yes - Tales From Topographic Oceans The Who - Tommy how about you ?

Another oldie I never responded to!
A few off the top of my head:
Van Halen II Beatles Revolver Doors Soft Parade Doors Waiting For the Sun Doors Strange Days (despite not being a huge fan, they had cool covers) Yes Tales From the Topographic Oceans Triumph Allied Forces Twisted Sister You Can't Stop Rock-n-Roll Ratt Poco The Forgotten Trail Flying Burrito Brothers Monkees More of Monkees Headquarters Buffalo Springfield Stampede (Never released second album. It had a cool cover.) Martina (As great looking as she is, I always thought the pictures inside the CD booklets were better than on the covers. Her latest has a nice picture.)

I might as well respond to this "oldie" too, SAT! Hands down, my favorite album cover is Bette Midler's "Some People's Lives". It's an absolutely gorgeous picture of her and I just love it. Sorry I could come up with a more artsy cover.
