I guess this year marks the 55th Anniversary of the 33 1/2 album! To commemorate, the Timeless Rock station here is playing the 20 most classic albums today starting at 3pm. And I mean the actual ALBUMS, skips, pops and all!
So these will all be from the LP era.
How about some guesses of what those albums will be?
Come up with your own list, or make some changes to mine!
1. Rubber Soul Beatles
2. Sgt Pepper Beatles
3. Pet Sounds Beach Boys
4. Bringing it All Back Home Bob Dylan
5. Born to Run Bruce Springsteen
6. Hotel California Eagles
7. Aja Steely Dan
8. Dark Side of the Moon Pink Floyd
9. Untitled, "Runes", Zoso, Fourth Led Zeppelin
10. Frampton Comes Alive Peter Frampton
11. Exile on Main Street Rolling Stones
12. Cosmo's Factory CCR
13. Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs Derek and the Dominoes
14. The Doors
15. Who's Next The Who
16. Are You Experienced? Jimi Hendrix
17. Rumours Fleetwood Mac

I figured they would be the most typical albums that most people own and praise.
I'm not up on Dylan, but istn't that his biggie? And, if this were one of the old Classic Rock stations, I wouldn't have included Pet Sounds, but this station respects the Beach Boys.
