Glad to help out, Dawn. I'm generally not one for cover songs, but Linda is the exception to the rule. Favorites: It's So Easy, Blue Bayou, Poor, Poor Pitiful Me and Tumbling Dice.

I remember It's So Easy getting massive airplay back then.
Blue Bayou shows her powerful voice. Really does a nice job on it.
I think Poor, Poor Pitiful Me is on one of the Greatest Hits collections I have. I'll have to give it a listen.
That's all I know!

Great album! My oldest brother bought my copy for me back in '77 / '78. Linda always did a fine job on her cover tunes. So many excellent songs to choose from.
Faves - It's so Easy , Carmelita , Blue Bayou , Poor Poor Pitiful Me , I Never Will Marry and Tumbling Dice.

I agree with you about Linda’s cover versions – she always does a great job, and many times I actually prefer her version to the original.

You’re right about ‘It’s So Easy’ – of all the singles from the album, I think that one got the most airplay by far. It used to be my favorite, but today I lean more toward ‘Blue Bayou’. Give ‘Poor Poor Pitiful Me’ a listen – I think you’d like it a lot.

My mom has always been a big fan of Linda’s, so I heard her music a lot when I was growing up. The songs you mentioned are great, especially ‘Blue Bayou’.
