Mine was the "We are the Future" benefit concert CD, available now at a Starbucks near you. It's a wonderful CD and I talked a little about it on the "favorites" board under one of the "insane list" posts. Also not too long ago I bought Jimmy Buffett's "Feeding Frenzy". It's got a lot of fun songs on it--I especially love "Cheeseburger in Paradise"! It's a live CD, BTW.

Laura, did you know Jimmy's new album features duets with country stars, including Martina?
I can't wait to hear it!
To answer this post, mine was Patriotic America.

The last CD I bought was back sometime in March or April (yikes! isn't that awful LOL) .
Anyway it's a best of called Four Thousand , Seven Hundred and Sixty Six Seconds - A Shorcut To Teenage Fanclub . It contains 21 songs.
The band is from Glasgow , Scotland and their sound is very similiar to The Beatles , Big Star and Badfinger.

I just bought the newly extended edition of soundtrack to A Star Is Born (the Judy version) last week for $12.99. I also recently purchased the School Of Rock soundtrack, but that was for my sister's birthday though. Can't remember what I got before that.

Laura, did you know Jimmy's new album features duets with country stars, including Martina? I didn't know that, but I did hear a version of "Hey Good Lookin'" that had him and a bunch of other guys singing (Alan Jackson was one; I don't remember who else). It was pretty good.

I just bought the Bluebird First Edition re-issue of "Fancy Meeting You Here", a great Bing Crosby-Rosemary Clooney concept album with bonus tracks. These include two Bob Hope-Rosemary Clooney duets and four Bing Crosby-Jo Stafford duets from Bing's TV show. Got it on Monday, the 9th.

A new used CD store opened up in my town recently, and I've been getting some GOOD deals there! (I won't pay more than $10 for a single CD, unless it's something I REALLY want and can't find any cheaper) so most of these I've gotten for $4-8 each. (BTW- I didn't buy these all at once, but over the past few months).
Kiss-Asylum Kiss-Crazy Nights Kiss-Rock 'N' Roll Over Kiss-Psycho Circus (paid $1.50!!) Coverdale/Page (paid $0.40!!!) Y&T-Best Of '81 to '85 Ratt-Dancing Undercover Queensryche-Rage For Order Queensryche-s/t Def Leppard-On Through The Night Vinnie Vincent Invasion-All Systems Go (paid $2.50!!) L.A. Guns-Cocked & Loaded Poison-Flesh & Blood
..and altogether, I don't think I paid more than $50 total..
