Went to the used CD place today with the intent to just look. Bad idea, I looked, I saw, I bought.

J. Geils Band - Flashback - Best of
Waylon Jennings - The Essential
Elton John - Greatest Hits, Vol II
All for twenty bucks.

All excellent titles Dodger! - I'm a big fan of Eric Johnson's. Thanks Ken. I'd never heard anything by Eric except Cliffs of Dover until I got the CD. Glad I did, it's a great CD. |

My latest purchase was Motley Crue's "Red, White & Crue", a 2-cd set of all their Greatest Hits through their history. It has 37 tracks including three new tracks in which one is a cover of the Stones' Street Fighting Man."

Last week I bought a best of CD by the power pop band The Records called Smashes Crashes and Near Misses.I love it!

On my most recent trip to the used CD place (last week), I picked up
The Very Best Of - Eagles (2 disc set)
The Very Best of - Cat Stevens
Back to the Basics, The Essential Collection 71-92 - Olivia Newton-John
Greatest Hits - Gary Puckett & the Union Gap
Greatest Hits - Seals & Croft
My single disc of the Eagles Greatest hits (71-75) was pretty much worn out, so I was happy to pick up the 2 disc set from about 16.99.
Cat Stevens, Gary Puckett, & Seals & Croft are upgrades from my vinyl collection.
And I needed a ONJ CD with her hits.
Cat Stevens was 7.99, Seals & Croft 4.99, and Puckett & ONJ were 3.99. Good day CD shopping.
