Great idea for a post, John. Not too crazy owning myself from your wants, but not really that bad of a mix.
I already have most of John's Double Fantasy stuff on Lennon: Legend, so Double Fantasy's not high on my want list. Killers aren't too terrible, for modern music. Scissor Sisters--I MIGHT end up burning this sometime, one of the better new acts recently! Dido--eh, take or leave. Travis--not bad, but nothing I'd write home about. Van Halen--got it through half.com last year even before it was released to the stores. AWESOME set--you won't bne disappointed, John. Snow Patrol--Know the name... Coldplay--not baD, BUT SLOWLY BECOMING OVERRATED. (sorry caps) Green Day--I have all their albums from Dookie to International Superhits, but they have finally jumped the shark for me. The album American Idiot really didn't impress me. Bruce Hornsby--I MIGHT end up burning this sometime...
My wants? I MIGHT buy (not copy/burn) the Cameo/Parkway box set and the 90's box set rather shortly, but am in no great hurry, actually. Most of the songs I enjoy listening to from the past 85 years I have copied in my Windows Media Player, so I'm letting thing stand as they are right now...

Cool post idea!
I have the LP of Double Fantasy, although I haven't listened to it in some time. But John's material is very strong, and even one or two of the Yoko cuts aren't too bad.
I've eyed Best of Both Worlds in the stores, and would like to pick it up myself sometime.

Actually, I was gonna run out and buy the Double Fantasy album right after John was killed. But somehow I never did. Most of the others would be too new for my own wish list. In fact, I never even heard of the Scissor Sisters.

In fact, I never even heard of the Scissor Sisters. Hmm... I don't know if you'd like the Scissor Sisters or not. They're like a mixture of electronic and glam-rock. One track "Laura" sounds a lot like Elton John. Unfortunately, they do a TERRIBLE techno version of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," that ticked off a lot of Floyd fans.

1. Robbie Williams - Intensive Care I like Williams but I've never thought about buying any of his stuff, I'm not sure why.
2. John Lennon & Yoko Ono - Double Fantasy I have a very very very old cassette of this, I guess I should upgrade
*3. NEW - "Franz Ferdinand" & "You Could Have It So Much Better" - Franz Ferdinand I have their debut and I never listen to it anymore. I don't think I'll buy their latest.
4. Dido - Life For Rent I did an album review of this in this thread last year. I'm sure if you go back a few pages you can read it.
5. Travis - Singles I've liked a couple of things that I've heard from them. Maybe I'll check this out on Itunes.
6. Van Halen - Best Of Both Worlds Eh, probably not
7. Green Day - American Idiot Several of the tracks are getting too much airplay which is annoying but overall this rock-opera like album is awesome.
8. Snow Patrol - Final Straw Love this one!
9. Bruce Hornsby & The Range - Greatest Radio Hits I'm a fan of his piano styling. I might consider picking this up too.
10. Blues Brothers - Briefcase Full Of Blues Not my cup o' tea
