9.And Your Bird Can Sing-I have always liked this song quite a lot!

10.For No One-another overlooked song that I really enjoy

11.Doctor Robert-a neat little message song

12.I Want To Tell You-good song with such a great beat!

13.Got To Get You Into My Life-one of the most played Beatles song on the radio...still love it!

14.Tomorrow Never Knows-another one of their few I didn't like too much

I agree! Which is your favorite album?

Taxman - I have been known to sing this while filling out our 1040 forms! I love the great sardonic quality of George's lyrics.

My favorite Beatles album is probably Sgt.Pepper....amazing lyrics and imagery from this rock classic.George was such a genius in my opinion and very often overshadowed by the Lennon/McCartney team.But he shows such beauty and insight in his songs.

I agree - George was an exceptionally gifted songwriter in his own right, and it must have been frustrating for him to have his input restricted to only a few cuts per album. The amount of talent in that group was staggering.

It was staggering....and I would bet that nowadays so many groups would split up for solo careers much sooner than the Beatles did.Their true friendship for one another was their cohesive force.It was after Brian Epstein died that they really began to become more separate artists though still together as a group.
George had a deep,soulful talent that was a bit like John's but without John's raw energy and forceful presentation at times.His was a more introspective way and I still think that "Something" is the best love song the Beatles ever put out.

Something is definitely a favorite of mine as well. Absolutely wonderful in every way.
