Bekki wasn't sure what to get me, so I told her I'd just provide her with a list of CD's I wanted. I made the list of CD's that were more "risky" for me-meaning ones I didn't know how much I liked. I figured it was money being spent anyone, so why not take a chance. (As opposed to me going out with money we really shouldn't spend and buying a CD I know I'd love. Get it?)
So I provided a list of 9 CD's to choose from so I'd be surprised. I then told Skylar to pick out the CD for me, and she did! I got one CD from Bekki and one from Skylar & Delaney.
They got me:
Peppermint Rainbow-Will you Be Staying After Sunday? The Love Generation-Love and Sunshine The Best of
I love the title track of the Peppermint Rainbow CD, so I figured I'd like them. (Plus you gotta love the band name!) And I thought I'd like Love Generation because there is 2 girls in the band and of course I like female voices. Only thing it, I have found out they more or less just sing harmony. But it's nice stuff.
I gotta give em more listens, but I'm glad I got these, I've wanted them for awhile!

Very cool - CDs are always a great gift! I have that Peppermint Rainbow collection and a different but similar Love Generation one, and there's some excellent tracks on both. Did Skylar pick out the Peppermint Rainbow one?

That's very cool! Pardon my ignorance, but I don't think I'm familiar with The Love Generation. Is it a 60's group?

Better than ties, huh? ;D
Never thought those groups would make it to CDs.

That's cool, Adam! I have the Peppermint Rainbow album on vinyl. Got it out of the bargain bin at K-Mart in about 1970 for less than 50 cents. It's a good album - very good harmonies.
- And it sure beats what I got for Father's Day. What did I get? Close your eyes.
