This is a very cool DVD( I bought it on Saturday) released by Rhino consisting of footage from the 60's/70's German TV show Beat Club - later known as Musikladen. All are live performances . The Bands included are : Alice Cooper - who looks like he's had "just a couple" of beer LOL - Eighteen Free - Alright Now Dr. Hook - Cover of The Rolling Stone Badfinger - Come and Get It - yes one of the reasons I purchased the disc Johnny Rivers - Rockin Phneumonia America - A Horse With No Name , Ventura Highway (great stuff!) Hall and Oates - Rich Girl , Sara Smile Al Stewart - Year Of The Cat - great version! Doobie Bros - China Grove Van Morrison - Warm love - he plays sax ! and is very good! The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop - Jethro Tull - With You There To Help Me , Nothin is Easy - I'm not a huge fan of Ian and the guys so I'm unfamiliar with both tunes. Melanie - Look What They've Done To My song Ma and Brand New Key - not really a fan(never liked "Brand New" but it's cool since I've never seen the clips before Bonnie Tyler - It's a Heartache BTO - You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet Once again it's a great disc and a nice trip down memory lane - I rate it an 8 out of 10. I hope Rhino will release more!

I don't know how I missed this!
I remember seeing this on video! Is there more tracks on DVD than video?
What a great selection of songs on there! I don't know if it is in print anymore, but there is an all Stephen Stills DVD on Musikladen and includes some Manassas stuff!
These are the kind of posts I like to see!

This sounds like a great DVD, Ken! I've seen some of the Beat Club videos on VH-1 Classic, including 'A Horse With No Name', and they're always enjoyable to watch.

Hey Adam There are the same number of tracks on the DVD . That Stephen Stills footage would be great to see! As I mentioned above there is a clip that I saw of Heart that I for sure thought was on this DVD? I'm trying to figure out what tape or DVD it was included on?
