I need to pay attention what time it is-I get signed off at about the same time everyday. I typed this whole thing and then had to resign in!! GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
Ringo's is from his 2003 tour. You know the one with Paul Carrack, Sheila E, Colin Haye, Jonathan Waite and that dude from Billy Joel's band.
Since Ringo keeps updating his band, I wonder if in 5 years he'll have members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden with him?
George's release is pretty exciting because I was under the impression that this DVD was ONLY going to be with the Dark Horse box set. Now apparently, it's being released separately!
It's divided into 4 parts. The first part is called Dark Horse Feature which is a focus on the label and mostly George himself.
Part 2 is Live Songs, with concert clips from the 91 tour with Clapton. Included is Taxman, Cloud 9, Devil's Radio and Cheer Down. Apparently it's very high quality, and people will be clammoring for a full concert release.
The third part is Shanghai Surprise which is 3 musical selections from the movie, including the title track, Someplace Else and Hottest Gang in Town.
The fourth part is Promo Videos, including This Song, Crackerbox Palace, Faster, This is Love, When We Was Fab and both versions of Got My Mind Set on You. Again, there is going to be wanting for more, since off the top of my head I know Blow Away was left off.
There is commentary from George as well.
