This will be a short time new feature. I did posts in the past where I listed the store bought videos I have.
Well I always wanted to go back and list the bootlegs I had.
Rather than just list the names with brief descriptions, I thought I'd make individual posts with song listings.
Best of British Rock
This is basically a collection of clips from various TV shows in the 60's. The quality is very excellent.
Dave Clark Five- Do You Love Me Anyway You Want it Catch Us if You Can You Got What it Takes Over and Over
Gerry & the Pacemakers- Ferry Cross the Mersey How Do You Do it Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying
Freddie & the Dreamers- You Were Made For Me Do the Freddie I'm Telling You Now
Herman's Hermits- I'm Into Something Good Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter Can't You Hear My Heartbeat Silhouettes
Wayne Fontana & the Mindbenders- Groovy Kind of Love
Troggs- With a Girl Like You
Animals- We Gotta Get Out of This Place
Billy J. Kramer & the Dakotas- Little Children
Peter & Gordon- World Without Love
Mannfred Mann- Do Wah Diddy Diddy The Mighty Quinn
Hollies- I Can't Let Go
Yardbirds- Shapes of Things
Petula Clark- Downtown
Whattya think?

Looks good to me:) especially the Dave Clark 5 footage! Yeah, even though it's not all one performance, it's all still good clips of them!

I meant to resond to this sooner, but I got busy and I guess I forgot..
Off the top of my head, I have 2 bootleg videos that are music related (I also have several videos of classic TV commercials, which I collect).
I have a Paul McCartney Solo collection, which contains early Wings promo clips, a piano demo of "Suicide" (which I never knew existed as a full song, it's the tag at the end of "Hot As Sun/Glasses" on the McCartney album!), and a lot of news footage/interviews from his '89/90 tour.
I also have a garage bands collection, which looks similar to your British Invasion collection. Has an impressive line-up of obscure bands like Shadows Of Night, Syndicate Of Sound, Count Five, even The New Colony Six! I should post the contents when I get the chance!
A friend has several Beach Boys bootlegs, but some are in poor quality and not worth copying.

I'll have to check. I bet your garage collection is the same one my dad has! He actually has a couple. Yes, definitely post them!! (That was part of the reason for me posting this, so others would do theirs too!) That way I can see if it's the same as my dad's. So what do you think of mine, BTW?

A great collection of British Invasion classics! The Hollies and Yardbirds segments sound especially cool - love those songs.
I love watching old TV footage from back then. I wish more of those '60s variety shows would be released on DVD.

Great Invasion collection, Adam.
I have a big VCR collection, but I generally don't tape concerts and such. I do have a few good ones however:
A Black and White Night - Roy Orbison and Friends
One Night Only - The Bee Gees
Hell Freezes Over - The Eagles
Several of the Doo Wop shows off of PBS
Also have a fairly recent Stones concert (can't recall the name) and a Barbra Streisand concert I taped for Nancy about 10 years ago. Others I can't think of right now.

I think I bought my dad the Bee Gees CD, not the video. So no actual bootlegs for you then?

So no actual bootlegs for you then? If you define a bootleg a video made by someone who attended a concert with a video recorder, and made tapes/cds for illegal sale from it, the answer is no. All I did was tape the concerts off cable, and keeping them. So they're not bootleg in that I did not buy an illegal copy, but then again, I didn't pay for my copy either -- except by paying the exorbitant cable bills. Oh ... and do you mean you have most of Hell Freezes Over on tape, or do you mean you have a copy of most of the Eagles CONCERTS on tape. (that would REALLY be cool!)

By bootleg I mean any tape you bought that is not available on the regular market. Such as concerts, video collections, or like mine here. I didn't tape these off TV. They are mostly hard to find performances all put together by a guy who sells a bunch of different boots. I meant most of Hell Freezes Over. I would much rather have a concert from their heydey! But then again, I'd have to buy a bootleg......
